Ubereats has been very slow in my area. Used to get banger offers all the time including $20 for just 2 miles, even something $8 for 1.5 miles as a no tip order etc. Now i get about 1/2 of the offers at less than a $1 per mile ratio.
@@trustenbaker8766I live in Las Vegas and the same thing happened here. I did a delivery today that was 12 miles and 90.00 worth of food. They rug pulled the tip. Uber paid me $2. I called and talked to 15 different people. Still didn't get paid. They kept transferring me to a different department. I went back to the casino where I dropped off the food trying to find this fool but couldn't find his bxxch a$$.
I would have to agree with you on this. I’ve been doing deliveries now for a few years, and Uber Eats has been horrendously slow these past six months. I work the market just north of Miami and stayed out of Miami specifically because that market has always been oversaturated by an army of dudes on scooters. That army has now gradually made its way north to my area and it’s killing me. I’m talking about you got like 15 to 20 dudes. Just hanging out outside on scooters at a busy spot. I’ve gone from expecting to make $150 a day to if I make 75 I’m happy.
I’m 71 and do door dash in the suburbs of Washington state. I average about $350 a week. I’m a top dasher because I rarely take double orders unless going to the same customer, and I’m extremely picky about every detail of the order. A McDonald’s manager said I was an OG. I had to ask my daughter what that meant. It’s hard for me to imagine a 9-5 job now but it does take a toll on my car. Love your videos. I always learn something new even after 2900 deliveries.
this kid is slow doesnt realize that hes not making shit just trying to make videos for content and in return destroying the value of deliverys in his area so everyone else gets paid shit too
I believe Uber eats had something happened with their commission they charge the restaurants and lot of restaurants are staying with DoorDash because of the charges.
I’m in the Venice/Sarasota area of FL. UE has turned into complete TRASH in my area. I pretty much don’t Turn it on anymore. I will not work for two dollars. I don’t care if I’m in the parking lot where pick up is. That’s a hard NO
In Montreal, Canada UE is not bad. I do an average of 20-25$/hour most of the time. There are some days that I don’t get a lot of orders, and sometimes I would constantly get orders that really don’t pay well. I am also EXTREMELY picky with what orders I take.
You lucky rat here in Toronto Canada it's gone to shit. Drivers normally make $20-$35+/hr pre pandemic and during pandemic. Now it's like $6-$12/hr. Good week full-time would be $800-$1000+. Now post pandemic $500-$600+ this is for electric bicycle. It's good only part-time in Toronto now. Time to get better job. Robots are gonna take our jobs anyways so eventually gig work will collapse
$2 a mile, No ifs ands or buts. I will sit with that car off and make more money than accepting less. Its costing wear and tear and fuel and at a loss at any less than that..
@@michaelnoland7120 It`s not lazy. I work hard, and my car works harder. I am a businessperson. Anything under 2 a mile is a loss. I make more parked by not running the car. I am also not unemployed, I get a lot of declinable orders, And more than enough at 2 or better to know i am doing the right thing. I also won`t let customers use me. This is not a necessity, Its a convenience service. My pay reflects that, I am not driving for customers who want to use me at cost or less. When i accept an order, I am professional in handling that customers order. That is the value i add.
I get a lot of cheap orders but sometimes if patient enough you'll get some generous offers (generous as in customers tip you well) My biggest grip with UberEats is the technical side. My goodness, they literally tag the wrong area. Not building but will send you to another apartment complex. They don't fix anything so either techs are not doing anything or they're just grossly understaffed.
I'm confused about miles to dollars now. There are youtubers who say only accept orders that are close to $2/mile, but then in one of your latest videos you said not to worry about miles (this order you took was $10 for 11 miles) because of the tax writeoff. So... I've been declining orders that are less than $1.50/mile, and my AR is around 36%, which I've seen really does make a difference. Should I go ahead and accept lower paying orders (if, as you said regarding the 11 mile order, it involves highway miles)?
I do UE/DD in Chattanooga, TN. It used to be that DD sucked and UE was better paying. Now, within the last couple of months, UE has taken a nose dive. Orders come in, but they're not the $2+ per mile that they used to be. My AR with both apps has dropped to 8-10%.
As much as I hate Doordash I tried UE and hated even more. First it’s super low in my market I get 10 to 1 offers DD vs UE, I hate UE allows 1 hour for customer to change tips = tip baiting
Doortrash is allowing the customer to change tips now also!! I picked up a doortrash order the other night and the f**king pos customer changed my tip as I was driving to deliver it. I got and update from doortrash on the app, order has been changed. I drove 6 miles for $ 3 dollars and some change. 😡
I thought it was just me. It’s month 2 and I had a good rhythm going, but the last 2 weeks of Uber eats have either been terrible offers or long times in between them.
Uber eats has gotten really bad in Austin, TX since the heatwave ended. I was getting lots of bangers when it was 100 degrees everyday. Now all I get on there are insane high mileage orders that pay as low as 50 cents a mile. Absolutely insane.
I was doing really good with Uber Eats out here in Las Vegas but for the last two weeks it has been really slow for me. Some days it’s just not worth delivering.
Damn, that Thursday was a shitty day with Uber Eats. You had just 1 good order that was $11 for 2 miles, everything else was a loss smh. Uber is just too damn greedy not paying drivers better also. No matter what don't take shitty orders or else they will just keep flooding on in.
In my area is 250 per week on 30 hours. It's gone down hill fast. I have to take $10+ orders. I just can't deliver for less I be delivering for free. Door Dash the same thing $30-59 dollars per week. I had enough I am going back to a W2.
I have seen people asking for DD accounts for rent. New immigrants f.ked the delivery prices. They take whatever is the offer. Just be patience till they realize income to spend ratio. I m doing instacart for now.
You are right. They're taking 5$ order 1 mile 10 minutes as soon as possible in Chicago. F@cking idiots! Also they take 4$ 7 miles 30 minutes... Never fuck take anything lower than 10$! 2 and more dollars for mile. But no, they take everything
Weird, in my market (south coast Massachusetts) UE is actually making a comeback. It’s not uncommon for UE to out-perform DD now, something that would NEVER happen just 6 months ago.
I'm waitlisted for Door dash so I only do Uber eats and I can make $17-25/hr. I'm in Central Texas near Austin and $100 in 5 hours is not bad here. $1-$1.25/mi seems the norm TBH.
@@trustenbaker8766 a month. I expect it to change with the economy of course. But unless UE gets a bunch of thirsty drivers in the area, fares will be solid
In Miami used to do Uber full time and make $150-250 everyday in 5 hours. Now it’s hard to make $20 on Uber eats most of what I see is $3 for 12 miles $5 for 20 miles $6 for 18 miles idk why they let ppl order that far
I am totally the opposite of you .. I can't make any money on DD because of my AR is very low. I am at dmv area where its very good on weekends but slow on weekdays.
@@shaunarop3725 yes you can if you are in the top Dasher program.. I like UE cuz they don't care about your accepting rate. In DD , you have to have high AR to be prioritized
U E was my main money maker 2020- 2022. But it changed almost about a year ago its almost complete trash now. I think dd just absorbed a majority of the market.
Uber eats can be profitable in Tucson.. but also it can be really bad! I did one order for $35, then without realizing the amount, I had accepted the next order for.. was only $1. So it can vary that much. I called Uber eats and asked them how could they send me an offer for just $1. I asked them if why they dont respect their drivers more? I didnt see the amount before accepting and once I had I did it, hoping for a tip.. UGH! Also if the place you are picking up from is slow.. they can rate you negatively if you are not so thrilled about waiting for your order. its called the "satisfaction" rating..
@@mateofernando5066 Yeah I know.. should of done this but I didnt know they could inflict damage on me..I was watching this btch run around and take care of lots of people who showed up after I did.. finally I spoke and asked her if she would get the order so I could deliver it.. so a negatory rating for me.. I just stopped uber eats.. its been good at times but mostly bad
The south Florida market has become way oversaturated. Are used to make 150 a day at least. Now I’m happy if I make $75. Everywhere you go you see an army of dudes on scooters just waiting
Chicago was great in 2022 and horrible in 2023. Two factors - Uber has reduced pay to $2 etc with few bangers! This is because the CEO wants to company to make more money - PAY is horrible. Second issue is Chicago has thousand of "migrants" and many are using scooters (with fake ID)- so market is saturated. Wen out for 6 hours recently and made $35. Most orders now $2.3.4 dollars for 3-6 miles - No orders above $7 anymore ... will stack 2 orders for $7. Used to make $120-135 - STAY AWAY
@jsinvesting8477 These bitches make so much off their AdSense revenues and derivative sales and corporate incentive pay offs, going out to do a few hours of lousy deliveries is a prerequisite activity to obtain the lousy content they need to make it all happen. They aren't real drivers out here trying to beat the streets to pay the mortgage. #RealGigDrivers are working hard right now to clean up the RU-vid Gig App space. These guys are gonna learn their lesson, straighten up, or get out. The jig is up. Uber eats is most of the time shitty😢 i cant believe they want us to do orders for 40 minutes for $2. I cant even eat everyday with this job. Cant pay any real bills. It has turned into a complete shitshow.
Port Saint Lucie Florida they it got a lot better by me I did one on Friday it was better I stopped it cause I wasn't getting anything with all the new Restaurants n every one moving to Florida it got better
I get plenty of UE orders but they are mostly trash. Like $2.49 to go 17 miles. I did okay a few weeks ago on a Friday night. It still wasn't great but the orders were at least of the $1/mile ratio. And these assholes love to hide tips as well so I made more than I expected. I actually started way later than I'd have liked to (8pm).
Uber eats in Minneapolis late week they got a really good market but I came back home to Milwaukee and it sucks 2-5 orders all day no real good tips wish I was back in Minneapolis going to Chicago next week to see how it is over there 😢
I've yet to get one uber eats order in the last 3 weeks since I picked door dash back up after many years. Definitely gonna do instacart and shipped alongside this shit
UberEATS isn't dying, they're probably the biggest employer of illegals in the country right now. It's rare to find one doing eats in Chicago that can speak English these days.
The corporations really needed that fresh influx of illegals to take these trash orders. The strategy is working. #DestroyDoorDash, #AppSlavery, #DoorDashIsAmericasCancer
Uber eats sucks nowadays...it used to be the best app i would do all orders 10 dollar minimum and be extremely busy and profitable...thats no longer the case they decreased the pay big time
people people... i am a uber eats driver and just looking at this video.. i see a big mistake... dude clean the inside of your car.. i do not see one comment telling you to clean up your car.
I got a $5 order from UE going 2 miles. Picked up 10 cases of water (40 bottles each) from Walmart, weighing 42 lbs each. Delivered to a business. They gave me a dolly to put the water in the break room. I should have left it at the front door. 43 minutes.
This is 2019 UberEats..actually I take that back, 2019 UberEats was definitely worse. Another pandemic or disaster comes around and UberEats is your app! But now yeah back to reality with it.
