Some people say Divine was too bold. Nah. You gotta remember this man was pretty much the same type of street nigga Raekwon was. So long story short: he wasn’t afraid of none of them niggas at ALL 😂 especially when it came to the business. I know Rae hates Vine til this day but he needed that business discipline badly
Of course nobody thought Divine wasn’t a street nigga! He always had the streets in him! I think Rae looked at Divine disgusted cause he came from the streets he was from. But Rae needed to understand his position and sadly he ain’t give af
@treylawrence7487 Restaurants, strip clubs and telephone are all legitimate business expenses for a music executive or rapper. The Blockbuster bill is "Research." Devine's job as CEO is to make sure everyone knows the company policy for expenses and to set a limit for each employee. In this scene you see what happens when you don't have a policy in place. Also, you give your artist a per diem or credit card to better control things.
Yo I got a buddy just like Rae in this scene. When he gets pissed he just says the absolute worst shit he can think of then expects everybody to be cool in a couple weeks lol. Like bro you just told me you wouldn’t be at my funeral now I’m supposed to forget it.
After all having to tangle with Dirty's "flunkie manager", Rae's childish antics, and Ghost suffering from diabetes and Vine still missed his babygirl's B-DAY celebration. He deserves the ultimate salute for having to the Clan's finances in line
He does I wanna inbox him on his IG and apologize for what he had to go through even though I don’t have anything to apologize for. It’s just the fact he ain’t deserve that hate. With Deck it’s a different story with Rae he’s a dick 💯
Shamiek Moore nailed this role. He gained weight to play Rae. It's crazy coz he voices the character of Miles Morales in the animated Spider-Man movie.
@Ramon Hope yup and it's clearly showing that on the show...I can see why they split as a group...alot of them got big headed after the 1st album....meth remained humble even till this day, Rae and ghost just wasn't liking nobody so the star rising was type limited until they got older, gza was too ahead of his time so that also limited him, Ins was looked over badly, ODB well we all know his story, UGOD and masta killa didn't have the fan base for anything else outside a group project and RZA step more into boss mode then rapper which they also wasn't feeling
Rae was letting the fame get 2 his head, cause vine was really looking out 4 the whole group Business wise and holding rae accountable for the dumbass spending he was doing.
Rae wasn’t thinking clear of shit 😂! I wanna know how long was he living in the Wu Mansion? Before he grew up and realize he got his own place and take care of responsibilities?
@@91Definite Facts. But nowadays he has that fine ass wife of his. He can only reminisce on the reckless shit he use to pull. I love Chef but his Golden Era days will always tell me he needed that sit down therapy. Especially after losing his mom. Btw can I safely assume Claude's inspired his verse in Ice Cream?
“I’m not feeding Beavis and Butthead to fucking Surf N Turf 🗣💯!” Divine was getting in Rae’s ass 😂! But Rae knew he was wrong for doing that to Divine spending like he ain’t suppose to pay that back. That’s the thing about a credit card 💳! I’m pretty sure Divine went through hell with all the Clan’s expenses 😞! Man the average black man would’ve had a stroke, but Divine in the business of Wu Tang? He was definitely the backbone 💯
Did you peep the stress gettin too him during the episode. He on the back door for a mental breakdown with all the pressure he receiving. Group thinkin they gettin took and dont know how the business works.
@@almightyog2373 right! I felt sad for Divine and he’s just tryna manage everyone. But the thing is everyone ain’t raised how you was raised, act how you would act and more shit. If Divine told me to ask him if I could spend on Wu Tang dime? I would do just that, cause if he respects me ima respect him. If I had to work a part time job and shit cool to make alittle extra money but sametime niggas probably would tried to rob me. Maybe that wouldn’t be a good idea idk. All I’m saying is I would ask Divine for certain things if it’s about Wu Tang business. Other than that I would’ve been saving my money these niggas spending like it’s no tomorrow
Raekwon and U-God literally acted just like that in real life hell you can look up any interview of U-God today and you can tell off rip that’s how he was back in the day.
I thought Vine was going to EXPLODE this episode, my man's was being attacked from all Angles with the BS and he missed his Daughter's Bday Party....Selfless
I’m telling you…they was hungry in the beginning but same time they began to have a bond all of them. Then when the money came it broke the brotherhood they had
Devine wasn't wrong here. He was wrong, however, for what he did to Deck. I mean how you gonna meet with Tommy Maytola & push Cappadon (who wasn't in the group yet) & say absolutely NOTHING about Deck?!! He had reasons to try to sell Ghostface & Dirty, but not Donna. That was some bullshit.
Deck didn’t even want his name on that solo track he produced his self for that movie soundtrack n them artist was requested deck kind of did it to his self. N on that episode when he produced that solo track n recorded it his self before that rza said let’s go lay down some tracks he declined it
@@scootyamz9095word… Deck kinda played himself when you think about it. Everybody else let it be known from the gate that they were solo artists first. Meanwhile Deck made moves like he was a group member first so they treated him as such unfortunately. You can’t move like a guppy in an industry filled with sharks
You know u right on thst. I guess bc Cappadona verse was the hottest join out. I remember when winter wars was on battle of the beats on hot 97. And they played that joint like 8 times during the battle.
Like I said in every scene video on RU-vid about that scene I literally shed a tear for Deck and understood his pain. All he wanted was a chance and passed up on him again 😞💯
Show got my guy Rae looking bad AF. Lived on a roof? Absolutely couldn't eat without Power? 2nd one in debt under ODB?? Gambling with Masta Killa & winning & as soon as he loses a roll it's "yo Rza! What he doing here? Boom, take him out the group son" FOH
Well Devine does he has major amount of real estate in Staten island which he advised a lot of the Wu member to get involved in but they didn't want to.
It's amazing really, as I was watching this scene, it looked like a scene in in a mafia film where the capos aren't contributing to the family right. These dudes really had a thing going and still do
Granted Rae got rid of his tarantula piece some time ago. However, I still can’t get over the props department not at least doing a 3D print of Raekwon’s piece and being ok with going with a super tiny one instead. 🤨
The chain he got on in this scene is accurate. That looks like the same exact one he was wearing in 1995 (check the insert of the cassette and CD booklet of the Only Built Cuban Linx album). He started rockin the tarantula piece around 1999 (during the IMMOBILARITY album).
Not gonna lie Reakwon ,ODB & his lil manager would've got hands put on them plus he missed his daughters b day dealing with all this fuckery Ghost having diabetes ok cool Deck being upset ok cool you got every right but them other 3 getting it
@@91Definite All facts, & I wouldn't even have questioned it except earlier in the episode downstairs Rae was trying to sell Cream Team as his new group to Devine. This TV shitalways inaccurate
There's a kernel of truth in all of it, Rae saw what alot of Black people see. Some us rub elbows with whites until we get bleached. It's hard to juggle those two worlds: business with the devils, and life with the gods. But y'all have to understand that terminology.
Yep they be cool on a regular basis but soon as money talk get involved all of a sudden them Wu niggas start acting differently they move like they still on the streets every man for themselves
When your parents put your older siblings in charge of the house & they let that power go over they head just randomly question your ever move going threw your room 0:38
Power wasnt to his head, they destroying their own profits by racking up credit card debts. Then they wonder how the checks are startin to short. Litigations or going into default on contracts is not good in the slightest.
@@kwsssssssssss oh I thought you put them together like guilt failure lol. Meaning you failed to have guilt or something 😂but no I see what you mean it was just funny how they said it.
They spent too much energy and time PUSHING gza and ol dirty from the jump deck should have gotten an album and based off 36 chamers you can't convince ANY of us anybody was calling for a gza or ol dirty album off of what songs exactly??? Deck Rae n Meth was the stars of 36 chambers
Oh it's well documented fact that Blacks hate authority. It's apart of our slave complex, we only take direction from white men and white women. And Minister Farrakhan. Other than that it's not happening
I never liked Raekwon, I know many people gonna come at me? But idgaf! When you listen to the stories of Wu and how Rae was? Rae was always tryna control shit, I think that’s why sometimes him and RZA got into it. ODB was difficult to work with but that’s because his mindset was childish at times and he ain’t realized certain shit actual til he was outta jail. That he had to grow up and take responsibility. Few members were still young and was basically kids still but i honestly wish Dirty was still alive
I wished they had given us more on the internal turmoil that success brought rather than dive into the creative process of each of the album. To me the way they went about the season made it the weakest of the three season.
@@criprecords175 😂! Im just being honest! I get you make songs for the streets and niggas? But how about songs for the ladies? Even U-God spoke on that with Wu Tang Forever with Vlad! Talking about “everything hard on this album! We ain’t got no joints for the ladies? It’s like a sausage fest going on!” 😂😂😂
Mitchell Diggs had his head on his shoulders and was smart. Most of the Wu were street cat's from the projects that knew nothing about credit or money handling. They wouldn't have gone too far without Devine and Power. They were the brains of the operation. One was executive and the other was merchandise and logistics.
Basically all the actors nailed their characters. They had to. They are up and coming actors. They are hungry and refuse to make a mistake. Dirty Bastard's character was better than Dirty himself, lol. All of them were good. And Devine's character was great as well. You would have to see Devine in an interview or something to see how much this guy nailed it.
