Here because my 9 yr old son recently started attending wushu classes in Argentina where he lives. As I’m in Scotland I’ve yet to see him. As an ex boxer I’m happy he’s doing a combat sport. Never heard of it til he started a month ago.
There were already wushu sanda mma champions from the Philippines. You should look up Team Lakay who had like 4-5 champions all from wushu sanda backgrounds.
man, really makes me wish there was more sanda esque gyms around america. I remember being interested in sanda since watching cung le back then. Good to see its continually evolving, and how even though they have body suits on: they dont seem to discourage a lot of strikes besides the elbows/knees. The throws/trips are also beautiful!
For those who don't understand. Takedowns and kicks to the head give the most points. also if you search up 1990's karate, it looks very similar to this
this is not wushu. why does everyone jump in the ring, but not in real life? Why doesn’t anyone jump in tao or kata? This is why I don’t like the ring!
It's Sanda, a style of Chinese martial art, much more efficient in combat than Muay Thai and Taekwondo 😉 those who don't understand combat sports don't know.
@@sandalifestyleI'm sorry to hear that.,I am very shocked that a person's comments on a thing can actually arouse your hatred, just like a person says I hate apples and I prefer bananas, and you attack and abuse this person based on what he said. Is this how you Chinese behave? Everyone thinks he is a human being, but he is not a human being no matter where he goes.
We can draw a conclusion from this game. The skills displayed in this game were mostly performative. He did not cause important damage and did not cause the opponent's tendency to be unable to continue attacking. It didn't knock the opponent down or make him unable to stand up.
And what i can draw and conclusion from your cmt is you are not even familiar with the rule of sanda and how they were fighting, how they score or anything that matter lol
