In the case of pgr the endgame is babel tower, paincage,warzone, stronghold, cursed waves and Norman Warzone is about killing as many enemies, mini bosses and bosses as possible in a short amount of time ( you have a time limit) without losing hp because you get a bonus for having full health When it comes to the paincage, it's very similar to Wuthering waves's tower With bosses getting additional moves alongisde doing more damage and gaining more health and buffs However most bosses stop getting additional moves after the 4th stage The Norman revival plan needs you to have multiple teams or to use the available trial characters, it's about completing as many stages as possible with your teams, also some of the bosses that you face are the co-op version of the bosses with additional moves or a completely different moveset to what they had normally Also the stages with the bosses will have certain buffs for the boss that you remove by doing optional stages to make the bosses easier Babel tower is the most prestigious one so far You make multiple teams to defeat stages with different enemies or bosses With some of the bosses getting multiple brand new moves alongside the usual buffs, extra health and damage for example the babel tower in this global patch will have primal projection, She's an already existing boss, but her new move includes creating a copy of herself and creating a copy of your character in her second phase with all 3 of them attacking you There is also stronghold which gets new stages every patch Cursed waves is a rogue like game mode like recitativo di fantasia before it We got another Rogue like game mode in the cn servers There's also the upcoming game mode that had a beta in the cn servers, Ultimate trials but the fandom calls it the stylish mode This game mode punishes you for spamming while rewarding you for keeping your combo, not getting hit and taunting your enemy It also has some Stylish angles for when you parry or counter and when you attack the boss after dodging And once again, it gives the boss new moves A pgr player can tell that i didn't mention certain game modes, but that's either because they're very limited or because I personally don't actually cosider them to be endgame modes at all or maybe I just Forgot

As for PGR, PGR's endgame content is Ultimate Phantom Pain Cage, and Warzone. Aside from that, there is prestige event content, like Babel Tower. I have mid teams and I can clear PPC without issues. In the harder stages of PPC, the bosses usually have extra mechanics and you have to follow them because they actually hurt now. In ultimate PPC, there is also a stacking attack buff for the player, emphasizing the mode's focus on survival and good play, versus zerging down a boss, which I'm sure would make certain people mald.

"Character isn't content", 100% true but it can also be goal. Arlecchino is litteraly the only reason why I stayed in Genshin 😂 Especially after Dehya's treatment by Hoyo. So let's say that I am glad that WW is releasing next week.

What is crazy about genshin coasting and not adding any better end game content is the company totally has the talent, money, and abilities to do this. HONKAI IMPACT 3RD is the best example of this so many things to do at end game. HONKAI STAR RAIL also is adding things but for some reason the most profitable game in mobile gets nothing so strange to me.

I think echo farming can be considered end game content because there is a purpose of catching every single one and its rarity. And what will happen when there are new regions or continents? new echoes.

For Genshin’s Spiral Abyss, it may have given artifact requeries since 1.0, but the actual pieces were from the default melee and ranged sets, otherwise dropped from bosses. Since 3.0, the prizes switch to the newest artifact sets.

i think the most annoying about genshin being "causal" like it's touched here is that as someone that is very casual it doesn't pander to me either, it doesn't do endgame well but the little more casual things like teapot and fishing are so underbaked, teapot is so limiting, slow to get to and kinda annoying. (even though i kinda like it) fishing is just boring grinding too, id be so much more fun to fish anywhere and maybe on coop chitchatting while fishing together barely any player interaction, so as a casual i think their "casual" parts flopped just as much as the end game

Coming from pgr it’s fun to see all the new cc talk about wuwa from big channels like tectone to all the smaller channels gaining views (such as yourself) it’s been amazing to see pgr being this niche small game in happy so many will try pgr cause of wuwa and very glad kuro finally getting the love and respect from the masses

When the game comes out I wanna start content creation and just go FULL TANK and piss off a bunch of people by clearing EVERYTHING without any of the rewards lol. I think it wouldn't really work but who cares.

about abyss, anyone have any idea how to spice it up? I mean: time delaying, more hp, multiple element boss (lectors) seems reasonable changes to me. or do you want more floors = more rewards? or do you want new mechanics? any game you know that has "perfect" or "good end game"?

Wuthering Waves is like a mix of PGR and Genshin but with lower gb, currently playing it, the designs are amazing, specially they can deflect attacks and dodge its either that, i highly play wuthering waves more :'D

I can't really get excited about the dps check mode because of the time limit aspect, because eventually as happens in many gacha games, the older characters will eventually get stat locked(in a scenario where they are already maxed out in status/weapon/skills as a exemple), so no matter how well you play with them, you won't be able to complete because their stats or damage multipliers are not high enough. Of course, there is the possibility of kuro making the game mode completable with all characters, but being a gacha game I don't have much faith in that. There are some countermeasures to this like putting specific buffs that benefit certain characters, making forgotten or bad characters more relevant, but still, I never feel satisfaction when completing this type of mode because I feel like "I completed it because my characters are strong and not because I played well", even though a high level of skill as a player is still required.

The main thing in WuWa is...its not p2w..u can pay as much as u want and still get ass raped if u dont have real skill..i absolutely love this..its such a nice thing which promotes skill over just getting all c6 and one shotting everything as it is in genshin

If the story, lore, characters, events and music isn't what keeps you playing genshin, then its best if you keep the fuck away. What people dont understand is that Genshin is not a game to play all fucking day, it's a complimentary game. After i finish the content of a major patch i only play Genshin 15 to 30 mins a day, and that is more than enough, and then i move on to another game. The same thing will happen to WuWa, im at 35 and i just log in to do the dailies and spend resources, i have no fucking motivation to do the harder content because they drop exactly the same shit you get all over the map. I just hope WuWa gets better because it has much to improve on.

For Swarm and GnG, I like that they're time consuming. It's not even about the rewards when I do them. Since they're permanent, I only do them when I have a lot of time and when I really want to enjoy the game. And I do, every single time when I play those. I don't want them to end really fast since if that's the case, then what sets them apart from MOC or PF that refreshes every time? And again, they're permanent, which means there's no rush at all.

I'm logging in and enjoying the game. I can't wait.

I prefer Genshin to die than to compete with Wuthering Waves. They really don't respect the players at all. Recently, they have updated resin cap to hold back players from playing WuWa. I thought they would actually listen to player's feedbacks but they did not. I think they feel threatened by WuWa recently so they did that for the sake of removal to another games from many players. What a shame, Genshin Impact ! You did not do it for players, QoL, etc You just wanna have a lot of money from those whales.

Genshin honestly suffers from complacency. What possible reason could they have to put a ton of effort into end game modes when they continue to be one of the highest grossing games in history? Their fan base is communicating to HoYo, with their wallets, that the company doesn't need to invest in any changes. HSR needs to put more effort in to their end game, because they're not competing with Genshin; HSR is competing with games like Epic 7, GBF, Summoner's War, etc. Turn based gacha RPGs. For WuWa to succeed, they had to offer something that Genshin doesn't. That's why they invested in end game modes, to give people a reason to consider their game. And IF WuWa does succeed, it'll force HoYo to actually improve Genshin. But until that day comes, Genshin will never change, because it doesn't have to. Companies won't spend money improving a product unless they need to. That's why cooperate shills are bad for the brands they glaze, because they're encourage these companies to not improve the user experience.

Isn't it wrong to consider Holograms an endgame? They're just a 1 off thing that you do once you're high enough level and that's it right? Like Abyss Floors 1-8 but more difficult. I don't think anyone counts those as endgame?

Genshin has had dead patches in 6 months? I feel like it's fine to call it a dead game overall. Dead game that has a lot of mintpickers so it's still making so much money.

As a fan of both Wuthering Waves and Genshin Impact, I think you're a little critical of Genshin Impact. Wuthering waves does have better combat and world exploration. You said you hate that every nation makes no sense because the architecture and design looks different. Its supposed to look different from one another. The seven nations are based on real world countries, Germany, Liyue, Japan, Russia, meso America and India with a combination of Iranian, Turkish, and Egyptian wrapped up in it. So, every nation is going to have their own architecture, clothes, culture, and cuisine. That's what makes Genshin shine and why players love exploring the world. Also, there's more lore to uncover while exploring the world and characters . Wuthering Waves' target audience is darker since the target audience is different. Some people love the vibrant colors of Genshin impact including myself. Character designs of both Genshin and Wuthering are both equally great. The fandom of both communities are toxic because both games are great in their own way. Kuro is definitely more generous.

Kinda dumb to compare Genshin with WuWa tbh. Genshin is just 0 mechanics, no difficulty, abyss "difficulty" is time wasting bosses and bullet sponges that just become invincible half the fight. WuWa on the other hand seems more mechanic heavy, teams and meta are irrelevant as long as you're good at dodge/parry, and even the costs for whaling and getting characters maxed + their weapons is lower.
