I'm hoping they don't completely remove his air combat, it really makes his Lion Dancing combat stand out! Hope it'll just be improved. I hadn't heard that some people had been complaining about it, in contrast I've been praising it constantly since I really like his animations and combat style.

That's why Yinlin is the best partner for Sephi- I mean Kakarot, because she covers his Single Target weakness, especially in ToA... He's somewhat useless in Memphis tho😅

And with the latest patch kuro said they will fix it, some people confirm its fixed in last few days. But no one proved it.
From what I've experienced in most gacha releases its best to get and build support characters first than dps, cause most likely dps characters will get overshadowed sooner than suppports
The complaints about Lingyang's ability to dodge the air are valid imo, esp bc his fighting style loves aerial combos. Hopefully the rework is positive and they provide better maneuverability for aerial combos
I don't care about pros and cons, I just want Sephiroth, eh... I mean Calcharo. So the only real con if you want a specific standard character is that the chance actually getting them is tiny af unless they give you the Option to pick one at some point like Star Rail did with their 300 pulls Bonus.
even if verina will most likely be better for me because i'm aiming to get jiyan. I still getting me a kakarot. I need my flashy dps, supports can wait later
I'm a husbando collector so I'll be going for Jiyan and Calcharo, even if they don't synergise well. (Unless they do? I don't know much about this game lol) In the Echo web event i was able to get a 5 star Cyan Heron, too, for my Jiyan
I really hope for an attack speed buff for Calcharo. He lacks speed I agree, but being a 5 star character with many mid to end game usefulness being paired with a slow attack animations seems too odd for his class as a DPS.
If i remember correctly Kuro did say they are buffing Calch right? Where his Dupe Abilities, more specificly relating to his Doppelganger is just part of his base kit now? Reminds me when Kuro did the same thing to Chrome Glory, they just remove his Signature Memory and makes that his base kit 🗿

i dont get jianxin, wouldn't she get vulnerable af when holding her attack for shield? sometimes i get knocked trying to get the shield up, would have to learn the boss' moveset before getting the shield up
Love the game!! But it kinda hurts to say that it's been a struggle to play firstly when I try to play without a vpn it gives me this message: The gateway connection timed out. Please try again later. im on iPhone also another thing is my phone gets SUPER hot n I leave the graphics on medium makes it a pain to play but i really hope they fix some things cuz im in love❤ also idk if its a bug but the game wont auto rotate on my iPhones volume buttons upside
Regarding Jianxin, I also heard that her kit is clunky. The charge time to get the shield is too long to be useful in combat since you're having to dodge and parry all the time. Is this true? If Jianxin is playable (they reduce the charge time or otherwise make it usable), I'll go for Jianxin. I just love her design. I don't care if she's not the top DPS. If I enjoy playing her, she'll be my first main!
She's not main DPS, but I did put out pros and cons! Her damage isn't there for higher level Holograms too, so she can't kill Monkey and Memphis with Verina unless fully decked out. She can kill the other two Holos though.
I wonder, is there a way to turn off those ultimate/swap animations that fill the entire screen? It kinda distracts me from combat. I know, such a small thing to complain about, lol
i was Yu-Lan main in ToF i really liked her kit etc. i hoped Jianxin would be somekind monk aswell but atleast for now in dont know if i want to pull for her
So basically, Verina is the only one that's worth it? I don't see how being bad in the early game but really good in the late game is a con, you're gonna be spending most of your time in the late game anyways.
i want calcharo and jiyan but i know its better to pick a support instead. and im scared of dps powercreep... i guess ill just wait to see which i like more in the story. any tips?
