I don't play Genshin Impact, but now that this 🤩(Wutharing Waves) RPG has been released I'm going to play it because it looks very cool. And I'm already wanting an Anime for this Wuthering Waves Game 🛐even if it takes a while, since Genshin Impact will get an Animation/Anime
After completing 100% exploration in genshin and hating every wall climb and stamina loss while running... wuwa's Parkour exploration and movement would be a blessing 😭
Let me tell you Wuthering waves parkour is not giving realistic vibes even though it is comforting it is looking like a game, but when we play genshin impact, it feels like real world.
@@jugantasaha1000Go climb some flat walls irl LOL. Tbh, running up a flat wall makes more sense in term of parkour. And wdym by "realistic vibes"? These are legitimate fantasy games, so your comment is worthless.
@@cyramiko6601 genshin might be a fantasy game, but the elements their implement on the game is a real life thing, just like reactions etc. the only fantasy was their story, and about climbing walls, you can just make a claws using your vision lol
@@p4ntom87hsr….and Honkai impact…maybe get off genshin, but regardless they make the npc’s bacic for a better experience for the players, their an open world game that’s ever expanding, and they have characters to release as well as more areas, npc taking up extra space for better designs isn’t worth it right?…I mean you’d rather play the game then see better npc outfits yea?
Wuwa character face & eyes has more expression also their npc they didn't look like regular npc it's smooth they appearance designs like playable character.. i love it
@@BRxAzureI also play star rail but each npc has different animation espacially in Penacony there are some singing Puking on the street and dancing unlike Genshin some kids just jumping around
its only few npcs that looks unique in wuwa and guess what its the same in genshin (dunyazard, cyrus, carp adepti) so idk why u guys were yapping like one is the better then the other >.>
Video creator handpicked characters that will likely be playable and generic NPCs that will likely be recycled if Kuro is smart. lol yall really arent aware this is a Genshin Hater video
@@sjwjsaw genshin is just a beautiful game, even "fine" is a strong word, an incomplete game without QoL, Late Game content or enjoyable game modes can't be considered fine, Genshin reached a point that the game is nothing besides aesthetics.
@@CaffeinatedKyllian genshin will not reach 100mil download if its bad It's just people who start hating the game after seeing a new better game But it wont change the fact that the game is good, it's just getting older lol
@@sjwjsaw genshin would not reach 2,5 ratings on app store since two anniversaries ago if it was "fine" It's just that the game is decaying and some of the players just refuse to admit it.
That first NPC looks better than Diluc's model 💀 (Seriously, they earn millions and millions per month but they cant do small reworks on old models or namecards?)
guy on the right looks like he'll be leading an army from the back with a telescope while the guy on the left looks like hes about to say "Either I die a King or win." before personally leading an attack
Wuthering Waves looks better with traversing! Lot of neat little QoL stuff! Like the characters switching when gliding! I didn't even know that was a thing! And I played cbt2! 😮
@@dongarippo7279 idk it was so obvious thing to test I didn't though someone who played the CBT2 (which is meant to test the game) would not notice it.
Everyone has their own preference, some enjoy both, some enjoy one, some enjoy the other. I just hope everyone good luck on their journey in these both games!
The vaulting animation is a nice touch. And I'm liking that minimal fall damage. Definitely looking forward to the freedom of movement available in this game.
Wuthering waves be like: "Oh you're playing our game for the first time?? Here's a free 5 star you can choose and so many pulls and wishes, also you can run without worrying about stamina and climb less than 10 seconds and also dodge!!" Genshin be like: "Oh you spent 5 hours to find a super rare chest that only 0.0001% of people can find, here is 15 primo gems that you can't do anything with, keep grinding :D"
Feels better ? Nah its called pragmatism. Running on wall is better than slowly climbing it. Not dying for any small falling is better etc... And absolutly nothing prevented Genshin to add this things for everyone and not just try to add a little of that on some chars kit.
But pakour is a thing in video games before genshin released, but Genshin's exploration QoL locked behind some characters. '' Even tof add wall-running later. ''
People don't seem to realize you can do a plunge attack at the last moment to take less dmg in Genshin too. And dying to fall dmg seems like a skill issue anyway. The gliding swap is definitely good though.
It is just that sometime you are so bored about pressing the up button for so long that you forgot about stamina and are half asleep so when you fall you are like, "oh.." and you die.
@@kyero8724 My point is that is realy boring for me to climb so slowly and for so much time that i end up getting bored and fall (asleep), can't happen in Wuwa because i'll be on top of the mountain way quickly by running.
@@prisciliaflora True. Climbing Liyue mountains was a nightmare. Although, I must admit I gained a new skill thanks to that 😅 new players don't have enough stamina and one must learn somehow.
What I can commend Genshin at, is the QoL in their map. I love the underground maps, etc. I hope WW implements something similar on launch or after a few patches. With that being said, I prefer WW overall, even on character and NPC designs.
The sad thing is it was implemented when it wasn't much needed, when was it when I was scouring the map of Sumeru, finding where that waypoint or that dendroculus is.
@@lovelessshoot883 I think it falls under the definition of "Quality of Life." What I'm referring to is the addition of the underground and underwater map view. Prior to this, traversing the world is confusing as there's another map layer above the underground/underwater area.
@@user-ud9tn5be8l Absolutely! In my opinion, most of the things that Genshin added should've been added within the first year of the game. Even the gadget switch feature is long overdue.
Funny thing is, before Nahida was first released I actually imagined her animations would be like Verina's, but when her animations were announced it was a letdown. Then came WW with Verina and I'm very excited 😂
@@kyero8724 Its almost like I am comparing them across companies and games, regardless of origin. I think you should look in the mirror. Just kidding-- its not that serious.
I mean that's the point it's a post apocalyptic world so the areas with no humans and full of monsters will look dead but the area full of humans or life will look bright and beautiful
@@Personthatsitartist here you can have darker themes without it having contrast to colors in the environment To give you an example final fantasy have the same bright anime characters without it clashing through darker themes Another example through using genshin there are certain ruin areas like chasm where the characters don't look a dim light neon light through the dark environment.
@@notpro7752 the criticism still applies again ff has that same flashy animation.without making the environment itself look dull the contrast is too far off to itself
@@Ishakai_Artist and writer here Wuthering Waves is a game based in a genre named Wuxia, it's intentional for the aesthetic to be more dark and "saturated", and not that colorful like Genshin. WuWa's story fits perfectly with the game's aesthetic
Yeah genshin needs a sonic crossover that has the blue blur as the playable charater, who has Wuthering Waves's wallrun as one of his mechanics as well as a Homing attack, also Caliburn is the crossover weapon and also he's got a Star alignment thingy thats in shape of the Master Emerald.
They will probably and for sure underwater combat also. They did it in pgr already when fighting Lamia. If they can create an underwater combat that is centered in the element of floating it will be great as well.
Really wish the underwater exploration is similar to subnautica...coz it's a post apocalyptic. Some places of the world is already corrupted so image underwater
@@HoyoWhiteKnight Please not subnautica. I don't want to manage oxygen or gather food underwater or watchout for barotrauma like its some survival game.. Also, subnautica ain't post apocolyptic. If anything, its the opposite.
Hmmmm this is getting intresting. People seems to be hyping up unrealistic expectations on kuro due to the existance of an older game. I somehow feel like this is not gonna end well.
It definitely pisses me off that everyone is treating this as if hoyoverse as a whole would change their course the second it got released like so these people do not understand how hoyoverse function as a company and how big they were and I'm not even defending them I'm just being realistic here
I think people can't understand that GI is one thing and WuWa another, I mean it's ok that exploration in both games are different. Why someone would like to play two different games with the same mechanics and desings? Please understand, they are different games, of two different companys and with different artistic vision, similars but not equals fortunately(sorry for my english, I don't speak this languaje)
@@walterwhite4398They dont wish for Genshin to change entirely, they just hope genshin would fix issues they requested.. 3 years ago. They may not know how Hoyo functions as a company, but they def do know Hoyo be a lil stingy on GI. Everyone knows GI is their money machine so they want as much ppl playing the game as possible hence why they were stingy with the lunar rewards(which i call bs). They may have increased the resin capacity to 200 but there’s still downsides to that. Resin regen is still the same so you’ll have to wait 24+ hrs for full regen and overall 200 doesn’t make a big difference. They basically want GI to improve the issues that dont interfere with the game entirely(like fighting gameplay). I actually like the gameplay in WuWa more but that doesnt mean GI should change theirs, GI has their own unique gameplay which is half of why they were popular. I think players expected GI to finally give what their community deserves when WuWa releases bc when it does release, there will most likely be competition between the two games of fighting for their audience which may or may not help the improvement of both games.
@@TigerInTheRainAlso, Azur Promilia, another game trying to be in the same league, is coming too. Market won't get oversaturated anytime soon but libraries, APIs and other stuff for game making will be getting easier to use sooner than later in the West too and that's when the first attempts to copy it and Genshin itself will need to up their game or suffer the same fate that game series like Unreal Tournament or Halo suffered. Franchise Death or borderline irrelevancy. Halo is especially well known, at the top of the world, and then CoD and BF came in and completely hoarded the market. Especially CoD, but because they actually innovated and capitalized in what worked instead of chasing each other's trends.
Ww is just so much more expressive with the characters during dialogue and battle lol like i dont see someone placing their hand on the chest or folding their arm repeatedly
Movement is so much better in wuwa but genshin already have many places to explore, from deserts to snow mountains to underwater areas I think its unfair to compare as both are not that equal on bases.
@@cornerpop72 what features? those climbing jumping swimming sit etc also waas released 4 years ago lmao. so you want to compaare them when its not even a new feature?

Of course not. Does genshin have wall sliding when you ran out of stamina? No, it doesn't have. Maybe try again after having some info. 🥱
@@Otherface yeah but some of their fans are annoying, its kuro so why would they make a worse open world rpg after genshis 4 years lol. obviously they gonna make it better and more refreshing so the game wont be TOF 2.0, unlike genshin that barely had any inspiration apart from zelda, bcs there are not many good open world rpg that support multi platform. but wuwa here has so many inpiration to take and implement, the raising of genshin and the fallen of TOF in 3 months
@@mrweltyang Like genshin community itself isn't annoying lol. "Unlike genshin that barely had any inspiration apart from Zelda" lmao what a bad take, the devs already confirmed that they took inspiration from Botw, more like copied directly lmao.
After doing whose wall climbing and exploring while having basically infinite most of the time. Genshin feel well slow specially when you are exploring and climbing . I try wall running in Genshin for some reason it’s already a muscle memory for me due to WuWu.
There are many exploration details that I appreciate in WuWa, but I've really learned to appreciate the limitations of Genshin's exploration. limitations make the exploration more realistic and require more creativity from the player. Im not speaking for others, but in a way Genshin's limitations have really taught me to be resourceful and creative. Achieving exploration milestones thus felt more rewarding.
Personally i play genshin cause it's kind of peaceful and relaxing cause of vibrant colours and more Nature in it, meanwhile WuWa is more modern which kind of feels stressful rather than relaxing , but it's just my opinion.
@@Kishinoo it's cartoony, that's why I find it relaxing, wuwa has more realism and modern theme which I also love but doesn't feel that peaceful and relaxing
I mean thats fair, tbh other than some similar exploration aspects, the core gameplay is totally different. Wutering waves is frantic every battle has difficulty to it, i wont say basic mobs are difficult but they arn’t slouches either. If you haven’t got some basic combos down you are gonna get hit. Or just not put out significant dps. And if its any kind of boss or mini-boss the hit is gonna hurt allot and theres no reprieve during battles. Not saying hardcore players will struggle but people expecting genshin difficulty will. On the other side of that coin it does mean yoi can beat any enemy with any character the game is designed in a way where learning combos counterattacks and dodges is more meaningful than simply having a good character.
Wuthering Waves made exploring much easier and more productive. Since you need enemies as an artifact, it's not really a waste of time if you get yourself busy fighting enemies while otw to the location. While in genshin, it can be a waste of time if some enemies you commonly encounter don't have any chests guarded or the mob drops are redundant in your inventory.
@@goatmilk2937 with the traversal in WW as it is you'd never need to release characters like Kazuha or Xiao so why even bother let people switch mid air tho. feels like a pointless mechanic thats just gonna be buggy but w.e I just wish genshin would speed up the party editing load
Still GI character motion is smooth than WW , i wish they slowly adjust it every patched because some character looks off , but still WW is awesome ,im a GI player since day 1 and its time to quit, i tried WW last beta and its amazing and refreshing , been playing PGR so i love hardcore combat, so excited , dont get me wrong both are amazing i just domt have time to play both ✌️
Non hack&Slash game tends to be smooth, it's very noticable because it's slow. But atleast Wuwa wins more on 3d quality design, especially shadows and lighting.
What a sad thing, instilling a war between games that you can be playing at the same time without spending any money. Reading through these comments is like watching animals in a zoo. I hope WW is a success so i have one more good game to play alongside Genshin and HSR.
That's what a society without accountability or respect looks like.. unless you can slap someone for shitty things they said through the internet, things probably won't change much..
The best part is that the Npcs in Wuwa are very diverse. Compared to Genshin, which has people with the same face everywhere. Imagine that you are sad that Teppei died. But you see him everywhere. Genshin is a joke 🤣🤣🤣 and in Wuwa they even cooler and hotter
That's a thing hsr did much better The entire premise of hsr is to be better than genshin in every other way because it can't be better in the exploration and battle departments In case someone points out "but noone was even talking about hsr ☝️🤓", my point is that hoyoverse can make everything given here possible with little effort but they decide not to in genshin for some reason
Who knows, if wuwa proves to be a threat to genshin, they might step up their game and actually try to make the game better, if not for the happiness of the player base, then to at least keep the playerbase
@@Prodigal450 i mean... the story is fine ig? Its combat is also fine, idk whats the problem with turn based stuff, ig theyre just generally more boring
WuWa is better in almost EVERY aspect I’ve seen so far Only thing I wish is for them to have more diverse designs to represent different cultures, will they keep the same Chinese apocalyptic theme or can I expect and hope for diverse cultures in future updates?
A lot of their designs r black/white haired and I wish for more colors ESPECIALLY in clothing! Encore and Verina r my fav designs bcs of them breaking that black/white/grey pattern And I lowkey wish for a french-themed shoujo lolita character with marionette style gameplay so like is that possible? Or is it just gonna be China and sci-fi?
@@ManasSinha-lu5rs they really need to step out of that zone and stop limiting their designs to that:(( An apocalypse occurred but that wouldn’t stop ppl from developing cities and retaining their cultures !! (Ex: theres a Chinese city already+ Encore and Verina r already colorful) the designs r suuuuuper cool its just the colors not standing out
@@Scrmoch They don't need to do that. Exactly like Bleach didn't need to have a full cast of cliché colorfull character to be one of the best anime of his time. Or for Nier to be one of the most successfull game.
I tested Wuthering waves and I confess that it's not what I expected, despite being good, I still think that games like Genshin or Star rail are superior
if you add data on what year these two games were released or made, it is enough to make me amazed that genshin still remains at the top of action rpg, when new games appear with more modern and newest game creation than genshin
I think WuWa had the benefit of being able to learn from Genshin's successes (and mistakes), but also the mistakes of ToF. ToF is basically a good metric on what players will tolerate, and it had a lot going for it. Better traversal than Genshin, actual co-op/multiplayer, hard content and character customization. But that wasn't enough for it to be remotely be put on the same field as Genshin. By all accounts, WuWa SHOULD be better than Genshin in most objective departments except for maybe sheer scale of music and voice acting which is more about money than development. And of course you have the subjective departments like story, characters and design aesthetic/theme which it's fine if players have a preference.
Honestly, not an impressive feat if being the only one means "at the top". far from perfect but it's still a good game for mobile standard since most of the times mobile games only have auto-battler system and then outrageous gacha. what I mean by genshin is the only one is because most of the "competitors" that came out are mostly MMOs disguised as Genshin instead of being a raw action RPG game (ToF, Blue Protocol, Ni no Kuni, and many others)
Well... there was a time the humanity faced a hard difficulty allowing a particular game to touch the depressive heart of a lot non gamer people, creating around it a cult that would survive for as long as the small number of braincell involved remain alive.
Wuwa being able to run infinitely, run through walls, dodge and parry made me delete genshin, like no im shit goin back to having slow ass wallclimb and stamina run.
i played for like 5 hours. it feels like tower of fantasy 2.0 with higher quality. genshin has flaws but i still prefer the characters, music, story and exploration.
What I personally don’t like about WW is that there’s too much “This game is better than Genshin!” talk. Whenever I come across a video about WW there’s almost always some comparison between Genshin and WW. WW needs to be their own game if they want be successful P.S: Gebshin’s animations are smoother and more pleasant to watch btw.
@UserL0-3 what are you talking about 😂 the author of this video literally put the character animations of both WW and Genshin side by side in this video and they expect people not to compare them? But yeah I don’t think that all that comparison to Genshin is going to be beneficial for WW in the long run. All those “Better than Genshin!!!” claims lift up the expectations from WW to a certain lvl and if they won’t meet them that won’t be good…
I'm a genshin player, but that's actually the truth. WW is better than genshin in many aspects. Comparison is good for both games. The problem is sometimes players and fans of the game become toxic just to defend a side. I play genshin everyday, to be satisfied in graphics, i always put reshade for crispier and smoother gaming experience. But in Wuwa characters, cutscenes and gameplay animations is already great. So for me it's a lot a better than Genshin at least from my experience playing the cbt2. If you like Genshin's vibrant color then its a different thing. WW is already a different game because of it's combat but it's always be similar to genshin because of the open world mechanics.
@@mcswgo well I think bubble shooters are better than Genshin in many aspects, but that doesn’t mean that they really are better. Let’s be real. I could understand if WW was already out and people would be like “Wow this game is better than Genshin you should play it!” However it isn’t even out yet but people are already saying it’s better. And then they say “Well, Genshin has been out for three years and this game is new you can’t compare them!”. Which means that WW is only better than Genshin’s version of three years ago? I still hope WW will live up to player’s expectations though🤷🏻♀️ good luck to them
I’m going to play WuWa but currently the world aesthetic just doesn’t do it for me. I love how culture and music is a big part of Genshin where it seemed quite lack lustre in WuWa. Genshin animations are way smoother though and the UI , movements etc are also way more polished compared to WuWa. CBT2 player here.
@@HapyFriendsShoppe I’m not really interested in WW but I’m not against it either. I’ve seen people playing WW’s beta version and they were having an ok experience. But to say that WW is better than Genshin before its official release… the tower of fantasy was once expected to be a Genshin killer but where is it now…
Who explores the map with wriothesley or nahida? Usually, to explore, kazuha, wanderer, neuvillete, among others, are used. There are many characters who are better at exploring and just using skills.
not everyone has luck and those are just basic qol that open world games need to add, genshin just refused it and make it exclusive behind a character@@Ramss22
