I just joined WW last Monday night. I couldn´t resist the excellent Cyber Monday bargain - $10/mo for 10 months. Just finishing week 1. A friend had told me about the personal points, so I was confused at first when I just saw the list of 0 point foods. I am very happy that air-popped popcorn is 0!

I am glad they’re going back to a more simple and clear plan. I was not impressed with the changes last year, and didn’t really stick to the program. I can tell already that this one will be easier for me to follow, like it used to be. Thank you for your updates!

Just joined today, was a member a long time ago and fell off the wagon. Now I’m 78 years young want to lose some weight and be as healthy as I can be! I have to eat plenty of fruits and veggies for my failing eyesight. I was totally confused as I had been watching older videos show casing the Green, Blue and Purple plans. Rejoined 4 January 2023. It's been 23 days and I've lost 15lb. Was a member back in March 2022 but gave up quickly. I'm happy with the points system. Love that eggs are zero points cos I eat lots of eggs.

I’m a lifetimer but not at goal. Covid stopped me and I’ve been out of control. Sweets, chocolate are my problem. I LOVE TO COOK. just started using the ww app. Love this app. Have lost 4 pounds in a week and feel so much healthier. Now that I am focused, I am happy. Glad they simplified the program.

I can get to my goal weight on the new WW plan! Thanks for all the tips and hacks, Sara! Some of my favorite veggies are spinach, broccoli, zucchini, tomatoes, cucumbers, radishes, mushroom, etc. I like just about every vegetable. Thanks for being such an encouragement to us! God bless.

I was on WW twenty years ago, it worked well but I quite after losing 20 pounds and I am back now. I don't know about the recent changes but I will tell you I really like this new system and app. The plan makes it very easy to follow and has creative freedom in what you eat. I'm into this two weeks now and feeling very encouraged.

👏👏💕👏👏 Absolutely love the program change. Personal Points didn’t work for me…lost all my weight so far (~50) on Blue and have about 20 pounds left to go. I was at a standstill all of PP and so happy I have started losing again under the new plan. 🎉

Going back on WW after being off for 20+ years. Did very well on it for a long time and felt great and kept the majority of the weight off for years. . Then I got cancer and that has been a challenge losing weight due to some treatments and meds. Now I'm much better, but I am hypothyroid (take meds) have Fibromyalgia and Disc Disease (over 60) - I do walk/dance exercise videos daily (started lst Fall), but continue to gain weight! HOPING tracking points again will help. My other problem is I dread/hate cooking and that results in take out and eating out, where I do not make the best choices. Wish me luck, I've gained almost 20lbs in one year and really can't figure it out, nor can my doctors?

I did low carb (dirty Keto) last summer and lost 10 lbs -- but once I stopped I gained it back and more - tried again this winter and after six weeks of no cheat very low carbs I had only lost 5 lbs. I was so discouraging, so never again. HOPING WW will work well as it did for me years ago! Good Luck!

Thank so much for taking the time to explain this! I’ll LOVE the new plan just like I’ve loved all the plans since the late 70s! Every plan works but the old adage…you can please some of the people some of the time…….well, you know the rest. Some of the Connect members are unhappy but for the most part the comments are positive! I totally agree with everything you said about our weight loss stalls. If you’re honest with yourself about why your not losing, you’ll find the answer and it’s most likely not the plan. Often times we tend to be impatient with the process. For myself, I would much rather lose S L O W L Y……and be eating well as opposed to starving. I’ve done both believe me. We can all do this!!!!!!! I’m lifetime after losing 72 lbs but have put on a few. Very excited for the new approach!!! Thank you again!!!

I haven’t changed over yet. I am a personal points fan I started with PP & am doing well I am losing whole wheat pasta & potatoes I don’t eat them weekly but I like having them as zero.mi don’t eat eggs, FF cottage cheese or ff yogurt. So the new zero food doesn’t do anything for me. I don’t eat fish or pork as well. 🍁🌻🍂

For popcorn, I add salt and water to the popcorn in a silicone WW popcorn popper and microwave for 6-7 minutes. The popcorn comes out great. I count this as zero points. No need to use that nasty canned spray oil.

Oatmeal has always had points for me. I started 2 months ago and 1 cup cooked is 4 points last month and now. Zero raw but I couldn't do that.

Hi Sara I was very excited about the new plan. Talked to multiple coaches/tech support & followed their suggestions. My app shows plan updated. Still have avocado/oatmeal as zero!Have an IPhone, is anyone else having this issue?

Do you have a picky eater plan? HA HA HA I do not eat many vegetables. I love the plan though and I can eat the way I like to eat. WW really helps me to stop grazing throughout the day. That helps me a lot with weight loss.

Hi! You really have to be a WW member to find the points of foods. They have a complete database on the app that is only available to members.

I left WW because of the change. To me, the company catered to the people that complained and evidently were profitable customers..Maybe some of them were people depending on using the app to maintain/ lose pounds gained back over many years. There was this progressive idea in the Personal Points to try to get new people in, people that really needed help in learning how to eat better and use the point strategy in managing the amount and quality of foods they consume…the very kinds of people who need the program more than anyone. I’m talking about the idea of wellness. I did extremely well with the previous concept and lost tons of weight. After learning to drink more water, my weight loss doubled and I attribute that to the point motivator ( just 1 point, mind you) but it seemed to really help. Now I struggle with the water again because I have no reward. I am not alone in this…millions of people don’t drink enough water. Maybe the people who have been on WW for years have learnt by now but not many others out there do. As a home health person, I’ve dealt with countless clients that don’t want to drink enough water. So then there was the thing with the veggies. I can see unlimited points being an issue for some who chose to use them to overeat on the wrong foods, but I don’t like vegetables that much and again, the point reward was very helpful for me personally. And secondly; the new plan is not one for all. The diabetic people have a different plan so I personally think they should of gone back to another version of the color plan. Green or something similar for diabetic, basically where you count most things, blue, and something for vegetarians who do better with the options to eat whole grains. We all realize there is no plan that will work for everyone. RU-vidrs could of, and Im sure have done in the past, do videos based on the three ( or similar idea) as above and no one seemed to have a problem with the different color plans in the past until WW changed to personal points so I don’t really understand the concern that there isn’t any unity across the WW landscape. Just my opinion though. No sour grapes here. WW is a business. I understand, but for me, I was very disappointed.

You were very informative about the program, and your success, but I am a diabetic with a lot of health issues that need to be addressed immediately. I wished there were some more information about the diabetic plan on WW because I feel really discouraged when someone talks about WW, and says how the diabetic plan has less choices than someone who isnt diabetic. I don't want to give up all the things I like for foods like fruits and stuff...I do not want to live like a Rabbit and only eat vegetables either... What can a diabetic expect on this new plan because I seriously need to change my habits, and be on a schedule. I skip breakfast, and lunch, have dinner and snack at night...my blood sugars are always through the roof when I take my BS in the mornings. I now have severe Peripheral Artery Disease, I've had 6 stents in my left leg (this coming wednesday will be the 7th), and 3 in my right leg. I cant walk good or far because of the pain. I am on tons of medications, and I hate it...I'm only 59 years old, and feel like 100! I'm tired all the time, my sleep pattern is horrible! How much difference is the diabetic plan from the one most others follow? My surgeon for my legs said if my leg continues to get blocked I'm looking at a Leg Bi-pass surgery which scares me terribly... I need help so bad it's not even funny anymore, and I have nobody to help me with what I should be doing...if you could please direct me to someone or anyone who I can talk to about this program, and see if it would work for me I would greatly appreciate it. This is my last resort right now because I feel I'm not going to live long if I don't change...Thank you, and I apologize for this long post...

Sara, what is the correct way to weigh Oatmeal when it says 1/4 cup dry. Also regular cereal measure it by weight on a scale or in a measuring cup. Sorry if this sounds dumb.

Not dumb! Measuring cups are fairly accurate, food scale is even more accurate. I use a food scale.

Oatmeal isn’t a zero point food anymore. That’s what I miss because before if I used my points and I was still hungry I would eat some oatmeal because it used to be zero points.
