The feature of being able to automatically generate create your own titantron video for created characters was SO AMAZING and before it’s time. You didn’t have to do any editing, the game just generated it for you with your custom finisher and everything! Such an immersive feature and way before it’s time
@@Bigjonphillips titantron in general is no longer in the WWE. They just use animations with the name of the Wrestler... No highlights from moves, finishers, taunts, entrances anymore like in the old days from Ruthless Aggression and PG Era.
@@Reggie-TVI've never played WWE 2K13...but now after your video...I want to...I was in my early 20s in that Attitude Era...and it was the best time ever. Was WWE 2K13 only on PS3 or also in PS4? Since 2013 is when PS4 was introduced. I'd rather get the PS4 version. Also, what differences are there between WWE 2K13 and 2K14 and why would 2K14 be better (roster, storylines, modes, controls, etc.) than 2K13? Have you made a video on that and can you link it here if so? Also, what is the best Attitude Era storylines WWE game ever made that you recommend...WWE 2K13 or another one? And why? Thanks! 👍
i remember being so hyped for this game as a kid i loved everything abt this game and that it gave me a chance to play through the attitude era because i wasn’t born yet 💀
@@Reggie-TVwish you people will stop using the word crazy too describe everything Jesus you spent all this time making this video but can't come up with a different word too describe something
@@Thecultofwrestling I only use a MacBook Pro computer-wise and I have no desire to buy or build anything that would be able to run an emulator as well as a 360. Also the sentimental is too high for various reasons
This was my first wwe game btw. A PROPER wwe game. Played it on my ps3 and MAN the graphics blew me away. Still my fav game just because it had that attitude era mode, just love it!!
This game made me fall in love with Shawn Michaels. I never saw him when I was a kid, I was only able to watch Smackdown every other week when I was at my moms house back in 2007-2009, and he was on Raw at the time. This game came out when I was 14 and my friend brought it over. Once I played through the Attitude Era I had a whole new appreciation for him. Dude was funny, had a great move set, and shared my name lol. I got back into wrestling at that time and started watching both Raw and Smackdown (this was around the time the shield broke up) grew a whole new appreciation for the attitude era after that, holy shit was that a terrible time in wrestling.
WWE13 is still in my top 3 favorite games (smackdown 2 and shut your mouth as well) loved the creation features having custom entrance songs was dope, loved the physics doing a Con-Stair-To is crazy haha also love attitude era so was perfect, just wish WWE games would bring back free roam backstage thats my only critic
I slept on WWE 13 for a long while but looking back at the Attitude Era campaign, it has a heavy sense of nostalgia and replay ability. Definitely would not mind a remaster of it
I was there so long ago..I watched hard core during the AE. I bought WWE13 to see what parts would be shown. It's unfortunate that the Hardyz and Dudleys were missing. Still one of my favorite wrestling games.
WWE 13 is the best thq wwe game, it kinda got a sequel in 2k16 showcase wise but still not as great, i hope 2k24 brings back the quality and fun this game had
It was a great game for sure. But they shouldve expanded the attitude era until at least WM X7 instead of ending it at WM15. 2K14 was just as good imo, offered the best of Mania & had a solid roster.
Damn bruh that sucks. I hope you find a way to recover them all. If not, wwe 13 copies are cheap as hell nowadays, so I’d say buy a new one. Or get it checked out
I remember getting this from Redbox on day one the amount of hours i spent on community creations was crazy downloading people from tna ring of honor and current day guys
Wwe13 was fucking awesome no questions about it i love it the rosters and attitude era story mode the match types this was fucking awesome the best in the world 🌎 just saying that because cm puck was on the the cover and that what he stays for this game deserves a lot of respect 💪💪💪💯💯💯🔥
This was such a great intro to this era as a kid I loved the svr games I loved wrestling in general so when I did the showcase and watched all this just fell in love with it all again
Took me a minute, but i finally got released it. Probably one of my favorite games of the ps3/360 era. Also i made a slight mistake. 2 actually. 1) Tyson wasn't guest referee, he just filled in the role after first ref got knocked out. My b. 2.) When i talk about the Raw Is War intro, I put Stone Colds entrance in instead due to not knowing if id get copywritten or not. Couldn't risk it. Other than that, I liked making the vid. hope yall fuck with it!
18:03 They had targeting limbs in '19. However it didn't show the Hud when R1 was pressed. Could equip strikes/grapples moves that would show what damage level it would do to the part. The movelist was EXPANSIVE too. Too bad they took out the amount of moves in following 2ks. A shame.
Wasn't able to get into a Wrestling game after No Mercy (which was near the end of the Attitude Era) for N64. Your review of this game was awesome and I learned a lot. Thank you for putting this together; you're right, this game does deserve to be remembered!
I met two of my closet friends on the online for this mode back in the day and we became true brothers that talk very frequently. If it wasn't for this gane existing, I'd not only not have met 2 of my favorite people, id missed on a 3rd that one of them introduced me too
This game was dope. One of the best ones and I think the value of it will go up over time because I see it on walls at video games for a little more money than the rest of the 2K games
I may be an old fucker but seeing the tail end of the 'golden era' and living through the attitude era makes all my middle aged aches and pains worth the price of admission lol
Let me remind y’all 2k14 was made by thq not 2k it bothers me when people say it’s the best 2k game when 2k had nothing to do with it the only thing 2k had anything to do with was publish it.
Not really. WWE 2K14 was still developed by Yuke's and it was made before THQ went bankrupt, it's only a 2K game because they bought the rights before THQ released it
man im glad you learned man 😂i was born around the ruthless agression era but i watched all the ogs so hearing your version of the history vs mine im over here dying laughing 😭 you on point, pretty much.
Me too 😂 I had the first encyclopedia they put out! Glad the comments aren’t a bunch of old heads getting mad at him for not knowing. Tbh I thought all the comments were gonna roast him.
I never got a chance to play this game at the time because I was going through a lot but after seeing a lot of gameplay yeah it looked amazing but I do miss the days of playing WWE 2012 Blitz The League II ETC on my PS3
The only bad thing about it was that this was the beginning of WWE games getting lazy. They'd have a classic wrestler with the right ring gear but wrong hairstyle. Or a classic arena that was either completely dark or has fans holding signs and wearing merch from the wrong era. The trailer for the newest game came out today and this was still present. They got too lazy with putting arenas in and just made it so that we have to make the classic arenas. They could at least let us fix the hairstyles too.
I’ve been loving wwe 2k23 and 2k19 but damn in the last few weeks I’ve really been wanting to buy a ps3 just so I can go back and pay wwe 13 and 2k14 again I loved those games growing up And ofc RU-vid be recommending me all these wwe 13 videos now
2K14 was still developed under THQ umbrella, explaining similarities with WWE '13 (and also WWE '12, since it was the first one after the rebranding of the series) - THQ went broke and 2K carried from then on in other words, WWE' 12 > WWE 2K19 are part of the same series... since WWE 2K20, the game had new controls, arcade characteristics, removed realistic features and we've been dealing with that arcade approach ever since
