WWE 2K23: 10 AMAZING Features Coming This Year! 

2K should add faction rivalries in universe mode. That'll be 🔥 if we can pick out cutscenes from backstage brawls to brawls within the ring between two rival factions. We can finally live out a fantasy rivalry between DX and NWO And Or The Bloodline and Hurt Business Or any other faction you can think of.

I'm mostly excited for the return of advanced entrance features, having stamina back and how it totally changed the gameplay dynamics and the twist they've given to the Showcase mode where it's playing it from the perspective of Cena's opponents. For as much as a despised that 2006-2015 "Super Cena" run, this is falls right into my alley 🤣

To your point about the Rey showcase having matches we didn't care about like Gran Metalik on Raw, I feel like that was probably just to flesh it out since a lot of big matches in Rey's career were against or featuring stars who weren't able to be included. Since many of Cena's big opponents are still in WWE or still feature in the games, hopefully we won't get a problem like this again

Im most excited for Universe Mode, I hope the updates are as fleshed out as the devs say they are.

LA Knight did and interview with ‘Chris Van Vliet’ and he mentioned he’s not doing animations this year. (with his recent push on the main roster) I remember you pointing out The Rock bottom animation looked different and that’s probably why.

All I play on these games is Universe Mode. I’m happy we are getting a update for that mode specifically.

I'm really looking forward to playing the 20 year showcase mode of John Cena when wwe2k23 comes out.

Having access to the entire library of wwe owned entrance music or having that entrance music be part of downloadable content on an as needed basis would be huge

We definitely need the created story lines back it was creative and fun

I can’t wait to play Cena’s 2K Showcase because it’s something they never did in previous games we get to play as Cena’s opponents

Like how 2k23 has Wargames in the game which makes me definitely want to buy this game. Also I hope they add in some more superstars, especially NXT superstars. Including more legends.

We've gotta chill with the hype train and not forget the real issues with 22 that need to be dealt with. We have to know if 23 is gonna crash and freeze repeatedly. Have the tag team mechanics and AI been drastically improved? Will the belts look more realistic around people's waists? Will we be able to bookmark custom creations we like to come back to later? I'm much more interested in this than who we control during John Cena's story mode, aren't you?

during this time (just before we get a new game) RU-vidrs have to step up. I follow most of the other top youtubers who release WW2k content and I have to say Assemble has become my first port of call. You're consistent and on top of the news.. really appreciate your channel. You step up and knock it out of the park

I will only be hyped when we will get a create a story mode so we can create and share stories. Nowadays, that feature would be a "KILLER" . Each player would be a producer of their own story and share it with others. And mixing it with my universe mode. Those two modes put together will produce the ultimate wwe 2k game. The rest is just whatever to me.

I'm most interested in the stamina / injury update and also the creation suite updates. It's also cool that you can beat up John Cena in the showcase.

If only they knew how much power these games had over storylines! They missed an opportunity to build Cody Rhodes, because a lot of younger fans don’t know about his dads legacy! Could you imagine, traveling from territory to territory as Dusty passing the torch to Gold Dust then Cody I mean that would’ve been a storyline for the ages

I really can't wait to see the story cutscenes in universe mode and see how it works

WWE 2k23 needs to completely update the Superman Punch from the Corner and the running version. 2k23 also need to update Roman Reigns corner spear animation by him yelling UUUUUAAAAAA before doing in along with a pin animation included

I just want more old school stuff from the 1980's and 1990's. WCW and WWF classic arenas, superstars and championships are 95% of my downloaded data.

Importing a created superstar into MyRise is a big W.

Love the updates there doing, they definitely needed that extra year and are definitely on the right track now. Literally the only thing I would love to see now is a couple more old school match types, in particular, the special guest referee, maybe with a new pining system they might have implemented it but I doubt it, they probably would have shown it off from the getgo considering it was the most wanted match type to implement besides war games.

I just want the title to be by the announcer table I’m tired of interrupting entrances just to get the belt.

Would love custom music or if wwe would allow their music accessible through the in-game store/shop, not trying to use current star themes or the ones they have put in the game. Double title entrances would be cool also. Hopefully we get faction/stable mates to assist each other in matches like the rumble.

As long as I can watch other players' advanced entrances during online matches... that will be a huge win. I like seeing what other players come up with a far as their visual attire and move set, but watching their entrance that they come up with would be cool as well.

I do hope that Yokozuna, Umaga, and Vader are in the game. I enjoyed playing them in 2k22 and it sucks when a game has a wrestler you really like, but they're not in the next game and the creation suite doesn't have the tools to make a decent version of them (Yoko is a good example here with his body shape).

My hope is that they've tweaked the AI a little bit. I pretty much only do AI vs AI matches and they mostly play out the same no matter the type of match, and rarely use any of the special features in matches like the backstage brawl or hell in a cell

I remember back when most of the excitement around wwf NO mercy was that it was the first game with the ladder match. So it’s cool that almost 70 years later we’re getting war games which dates back to the 80’s I think.

I hope advance creation is more than just half of my entrance can be triple h and the other half be the rock. 2k19 was peak. You could time lighting, theft were custom entrances in there as well and you could choose the lighting that wasn't just another superstars lighting.

They should make a deal with Spotify or Apple Music and bring back custom soundtracks, just have a way to integrate the app software with the game so when w use our caws online our opponents and teammates can hear out chosen theme songs. Also I’m shocked ww2k hasn’t utilized face scan tech like the nba games have been doing for years.

All I want is a better entrance creation part! Like day of reckoning was advanced and also more pyro

Just something I'm a little confused on for GM mode. Is the "up to 4 players" in reference to matches, or is it in reference to how many players can run their own show this time? In SDvR08 you could do 3 player GM mode. When I read the update for '23, I took it as you could now do 3 and 4 player GM modes, but your interpretation seems to be on match types. Any clarification?

I hope they announce the dual title entrances

Really wish we could have access to retro trons for older superstars not just whoever was in the showcase... Glad HHH and Batista are gonna have their old trons but taker and others definitely need their other trons, I just hate the modern trons but that's just me

I hope this year with Myrise, that we actually get to finish the mode and having done that, unlock the characters that we encounter in Myrise. Paragon J Pierce was 1 for example I wanted to unlock for other modes

First of all, I'm so happy your channel grew to what it has Matt Musclebeard. Second let's all just calm down, this is 2k...it's one step forward, and two steps back. So yes we will get wargames, but we will probably lose something weird like the frequent and dynamic camera cuts in presentation, or a change to the pin mechanic, could very well mess up the game. There was alot about 2k22 that didn't need fixing,.so let's hope they leave the right stuff alone

I wish they would add more kick out animations. Im tired of every time my opponent kicks out my wrestler gets the shocked hogan face

you remember the early wwe/wwf smackdown games? there was a "story mode" where you can play as any character you want and allways get little cut scenes and decisions to make... it builds friends and enemy's and you going through royal rumble and wrestle mania etc. why there is not such a mode anymore? it was so fun to play again and again... now there is only the custom player story and afterwards there is no reason to play anymore

I feel like they have a way to make the game better and look more realistic just by taking this approach in the game live updates and the main mode be focused on Universe mode but blend all the modes together let them interact with eachother involving universe mode,gm mode,my rise,my faction match types of course,settings if you choose to be a gm gm mode will interact with the universe mode,create a story,creates matches,create arena,choose who your announcers is,create titles,create ppv,create your roster,create bookings be able to trade,invade the opponent shows, have bidding wars,show ratings There focus would be the crowd and how to beat there opponent show, have negotiations be able to steal the other show superstars if they want See promos and cut scenes Contract signings,social media updates,injury updates,be able to spectate your show and your opponent show Interact with superstar and higher authorities If your going to create your own wrestler that's how my rise could interact with universe mode, have it go in the same direction as wwe 2k22 but with more depth free roam as your custom superstar Start completely from the bottom work your way up determine your success Create your own brand, create finishers,create your own entrance,crowd signs, your class is determine by your actions if your a baby face or if your a heel cut promos have it more focused on the fans the crowd determines on what kind of story your involved how big your star is, solo or as a faction,create a faction,have options to have a manager or not Have options to be able to attack superstars backstage do interviews,see stats Show case mode can interact with universe by having the options to choose wwe superstar or diva reliving their past,relive there memorable moments or having the option to currently wrestle, Free roam as the wwe star,cut promos have options to retire,ask for a trade, Start a rivalry,ask for bigger contract,title shots,have options to attack superstars backstage Main focus is the crowd or your contract signing if u choose to play as a legend and choose to currently wrestle their story will look like there returning They able to edit their attire Choose what brand they want to be on Choose when they would like to return Choose to be a heel or babyface depending on their actions Have options to create a faction Free roam but everything has to be focused on the crowd Cut promos and cut scenes Rivalries,have options to attack wwe superstars backstage I feel like this could help with bringing the game more to life and interesting to play offline and online

I just hope they finally add the special guest referee match type. It’s been 8 years since it was featured in a wwe game. I will be really disappointed if they don’t add it for 2k23.

I just hope they fixed all the glitches from last year (blue screen etc)

Hope the next update will be double title entrance, it was absent on 2k22, bringing it in 2k23 will be so amazing.

I'd like to see 2K add multiplayer myrise, so you can have 2 guys rise in the tag division or a male and female or 2 females rise in the tag. Also have options to join different shows or choose to rise separate.

8:54 YES!! This is something that really bothered me last game, not being able to import your MyRise character. I'm really glad they changed that because having to make your character 2 to 3 times is very annoying especially if you have to pick the moves all over again. Thank you! Hopefully it's not buggy, don't want to get my hopes to high just yet. Also I'm really excited for the new stamina and pin system. Hopefully this means bruises on CAW's make a return and also sweat for the CAWs to make you feel immersed in the match like they been through a grueling war. It's the little details that count imo

I wish they got the entrance creation from '12 and '13. You could do everything, from the motions the characters make, to the timings of camera switches amd timing Pyro. Different colored Pyro, and smoke effects, and lighting effects, and making a tron real and everything else was SO MUCH BETTER. I don't want to just take parts of other existing entrances, I want to make my OWN. That's what last year's creator lacked severely!

Glad Advanced Entrances are coming back, hopefully they've also added a few new things to it. Still don't get why the unlock everything thing from the season pass doesn't unlock all the showcase stuff. It's a chore to have to play it to unlock the extra stuff especially if your main focus is creating caws and universe mode

one of the most underrated aspect of advanced creation was the timing with the song. Like I don't want my guy coming out to song before the beat drop even kicks in, and it gets annoying fast.

Advanced create an entrance is why I'm thinking of coming back... but glad to see all the updates. Not bad at all

The problem with Myrise was that most of the storylines were meh, repetitive and ended too quickly. Like the Lacey Evans women's US title storyline for example. The legs got cut out before the story even took off

Hopefully damaging an opponent's limbs to read will actually have an effect. Every match that has like a super heavyweight Corey Graves says on commentary that you have to work the legs and so that they can't walk, except that that isn't a mechanic. If you damage someone's legs to read the should hardly be able to move.

i think im more excited to see the real official cody rhodes in the game and just thinking of hearing kingdom playing through the arena as he heads to the ring man im getting chills and mad vibes just thinking of kingdom in 2k23 😊 also seeying the bloodline do their hands up 'we the ones' motion ☝️

It would be great to also have create-a-finisher back but only be able to use the finisher potentially in any mode except online to prevent potential "cheesing" lol

IMA SAYS THIS RIGHT NOW...I think that we will play as Carlito...and Chris Masters. Here's Why... 1. Carlito won his debut match against Cena for the US Title. This means will Unlock Carlito '04, John Cena '04, and SD! '04 set. 2. The second match on RAW '05 the match is John Cena and HBK vs Carlito and Chris Masters in a Tag Team Table match. Cena lost that match as well. That also means will Unlock Carlito '05, Chris Masters, HBK '05, Cena '05 and RAW '05 (Before They Move to USA Network at that time)

I really hope they updated the error message from 2k22. It sucks when they just repackage things. I think, for the money we pay, we at least deserve all new error messages. My opinion, anyway.

We could create 2 and 3 man entrances, with camera positions, lights, effects, etc. Just let us choose how each character comes in, and we can control where the cameras are placed, and when to switch to which one. The stock team entrances are pretty shitty, and they don't fit custom character teams very well. The tech is most definitely there and it wouldn't be really difficult to do

GM Mode should just be a “scored” version of Universe mode with a yearly draft in both. Basically like MyGM vs MyLeague in NBA2K

I hope in showcase mode there's going to be entrances. I don't think in any recent 2k games they've put entrances in showcase. Only a small issue I had. It had ray talking then it was the match. I wanted to be brought into that drama. They could have even used real footage of the entrance then the game cutscene to blend between the two, as a running theme.

For some reason my universe mode in 2k22 was super broken I'd play maybe a month and then it would always get stuck on the match loading screen and wouldn't let me go any further

They need to overhaul or bring back manager features and add alot of them to the entrances as well.

Think Myrise will be cool if you walk around backstage and see other players kinda like NBA2K games and let us have double titles and pick what titles to go after.

I just hope this one works properly it's not broken like the last one all I want is games to work properly all these little details mean nothing if the game doesn't work tag finishes still irritating me loads of other little glitches in universe mode as well so hopefully that done better on this one

I feel in the quickplay, they should have where you can make a show. So instead of just doing one match,you n a buddy can set up a whole show w any arena. I know you can do this elsewhere,but feel it would be nice in quickplay as well when you just wanna do a quick show of your choosing.
