WWE 2K24 COULD BE SPECIAL! 

Super chill super quick video, just wanted to share my thoughts! How are you guys feeling about the game? I feel like the first 30 years of Mania will still be 🔥, just the last 10 might get a little cooked because of all the talent that left

Apparently, the number of signature and finisher slots have been raised from 2 per wrestler to 5. This means that if certain moves have multiple variations in terms of position or animation, we can put them on the wrestlers without having to swap them out as much. Nice small detail I just saw. Unfortunately, we will not be getting at least one match from every Mania. The number of matches in showcase mode is confirmed to be under 30, which sucks. 2K just doesn't seem to care much about Showcase mode wrestler restrictions or not.

Im hoping we get a long showcase, 1 match from each WrestleMania. The real footage parts are annoying but honestly i felt the last few showcases were too short

It's crazy that you didn't even touch upon create a sign and create a ref, each superstar having 5 finishers and signatures. I'm beyond hyped.

Me personally I like the cutscenes. It makes me feel like I'm really in the match. Plus its cool to look back at a lot of classics.

Hoping for Boneyard match and Owens vs Stone Cold but I agree with your points. Be curious what Wrestlemania matches we’ll get.

Im personally excited to play as Superstar Billy Graham in the game. How it took this long to put him in the game is unknown to me. I hope we can get some other legends that haven't been featured much like Terry Funk, Bob Backlund, Mr. Wonderful, Wendi Richter, Hacksaw Jim Duggan, among others.

I do not know, but it seems like 2k wanted to go all in with this game. A showcase so special, 40 years of the show that changed wrestling forever, could be an opportunity to make special deals with single wrestlers, like Edge, Jericho, Bryant, Big Show and Flair. The other companies could agree because would be a sort of advertisement. And also as a sign of gratitude not to the WWE, but to Wrestlemania.

40 years of Wrestlemania Vs. 10 Years of Budget Cuts

I really look forward to playing certain bangers from the attitude and ruthless aggression era's that we didn't get a chance of playing in 2k14 like Wrestlemania 17 - undertaker vs triple h Wrestlemania 19 - Brock vs Kurt Wrestlemania 20 - Undertaker vs Kane (just to hear slow chemical 😂) Wrestlemania 21 - Michaels vs Kurt & Undertaker vs Orton Wrestlemania 22 - Angle vs Mysterio vs Orton I would definitely love to play through some of these along with the other great ones we got in 2k14 for the respective Mania's. One other match that I am honestly looking forward to playing is Wrestlemania 31 Roman VS Brock (just to revisit the Heist of the Century).

I just hope universe mode actually expands rivalries. We had only one on one and tag rivalries for a while when we need triple threat/four way rivalries (even stuff like a ppv specific rivalry like elimination chamber and mitb but it probably won’t be there)

IQuit and Inferno would be nice and I hope we get crazy interactive backstage areas like in smackdown sym or hctp and pleaaaaase chain wrestling!!! I almost forgot the royal rumble entrances with the camera angle to the ramp

2k14"s showcase is the best to exist but I started on 2k14 so I'm very excited to see 40 years of WM. No showcase has touched 30 years of mania since

2K24 has the potential to be straight up legendary. While yes, it will suck to see certain legends not be included due to contracts, I’m hoping 40 years can still be fun. Also the fact that Special Referee, Casket matches, and Gauntlet matches are coming back, HELL YEAH! Also the fact that the Ambulance match is making its console debut after being a DS exclusive for so long, I swear this is gonna be so fun😁. Yes, I will get hate and I will be ridiculed for my comments, but it’s my opinion. I’m hoping this can be a good time. Plus all 3 covers are GORGEOUS. Here’s hoping this one can be a great one.🤞🙏

This could be the greatest wrestling game of all time imo I think the last ten will be mid but 37-39 will be great i think. Casket match, SGR is back, AMBULANCE Match, Gauntlet match, myrise might be the best it’s ever been. Backstage brawl got even better. Im hyped!

They’ve been giving most of the fans just about everything they have asked for and will only keep going. Game has all the tools to be ELITE. Now they just gotta put it in motion. This game can be an all-time great in the WWE game conversation if expectations are exceeded.

I miss create a story. I remember when someone made storyline where Kofi Kingston kicked Michelle McCool to stomach and cause miscarriage just to call out The Undertaker lmao. Good times

Now 2K needs to bring back features like Create a story, Custom Music, Create a Finisher.

I think the camera they'll utilize will be the NBA 2K camera system. Just that. But it's a good addition.

Once you play 23, theres no point of playing 22 but you can go back to 19 for a good experience

This game won't be as cracked out as 2K14, but I'm still hopeful that this will be the best 2K game since 2K14. I would love if they could work out some type of deal with AEW to get Ric Flair, Big Show and Jericho in the game, but they won't even attempt to do such a thing.

dont even worry about 40 years of mania mode yeah theres quite a few names missing but odds are we get eddie vs angle at wm 20 and thats honestly all i ever wanted

I would love a wwe competitive mode similar to fight night champion, where you can win matches until eventually you become number one contender for the title, and whoever is champion has to log on to defend their titles or else they vacate it. Also the rankings for players can be based on title wins, how long they was held and how good is your general win loss record. I'm not expecting it to be perfect but it coulr be refreshing for wwe and fans who want to really feel like a champion fighting players across your country and such

40 years of WrestleMania. Some matches that have been asking for YEARS.. Ad Nauseam. I feel like this could be the one game, the ONE Game that I can call the 🐐 post-2K14 (Yes I loved 2K23, but I felt like there was one piece missing from the puzzle). Here we go, 2K24!

Man it's been 10 years of 2k14 and we are lucky to get the upgrade version of that 👍🏻.

I hope they added weapons Collision from SVR 2011. And I also hope they Added Kane vs Undertaker at Wrestlemania 14 and 20.

2k is really good with marketing a lot of this stuff sounds good on paper but hopefully they execute everything well

I genuinely hope they bring back a lot of features that have been gone like ultimate controls, dripping blood, better physics like in ladder matches you can fall on the ropes depending on how the ladder is angled and smoother animations for example if your opponent is chasing you and your about to enter the ring they should have an animation to stop you and you should have an animation to reverse it also more reversal animations… as far as the wrestlemania mode hopefully instead of getting in game/ real life cutscenes it should all be in game allowing you to pull off the iconic moments in gameplay and have them carry on to the gameplay in general outside the mode

I honestly like the real life footage it is cool to see the actual moments play out idk

Really I feel like your the first person who despise about switch gameplay to actual footage on the showcase I actually like it because it make it feel like some anime shut or someone telling the story with some good music that actually feels right for the scene

Wwe 2k22 was a great base for the future of 2k games, we're now living the benefits of it, since 22 we've got a new combat system, war games +these new match types, better graphics, gm mode, decent dlc packs, better covers and now a fuck ton of stages, and new camera angles. Yes it took literally 10 years since 2k14 but we're here

I couldn’t even get into the last 2k. I really hope they fix the lag and disconnects online, ultimately that makes the buy or pass decision

The main selling point of the game is three stages of hell.

Last wrestling game I played years ago was SvR 2010 and that was fun. Spent so many countless hours, the perfect game with my brand new ps3 at the time. Then I fell out of wrestling for 13 years. Cue 2023, I had just gotten 2k22 and man was I amazed with how they finally fixed the combat system back to the old standard. (There was a brief period where I tried 2K15 years ago but I just could not break out of pins. That system was whack.) And 2k23 was just as great. Even began watching wrestling again, with my girlfriend no less! We'd started watching just as Jey uso left the blood line. And what a way to start, after wanting to see it live for years as a kid we went and got the live tickets. My first ever live WWE event, and I was hooked back in to that childhood passion. But anyways, I'm sure we'll probably want to get our hands on a copy of 2K24.

Excellent video as always. All your thoughts are correct, especially with this "beautiful" company called 2K. For me, im more excited to have a good base game with all WrestleMania arenas, new matches, mechanics, camara angles, doble titles entrance, etc. If they deliver that with the few glitches possible, imagine what PWM community will do with the pc version. It will be fantastic. Unless 2K decides his game not to be modded.....

I'm excited for this!!

Some points about 2K24 I wanna make clear: 1) The 40 Years of WrestleMania Showcase Mode, while potentially great, admittedly, won't be a fully complete mode without all of the big names that left. 2) I personally DON'T MIND the Slingshot stuff too much. 3) Special referee matches are gonna be crazy, along with the new additions of Casket Matches and also an AMBULANCE MATCH. Glad to see those matches make their 2K debut. 4) MyRise should be good as always but we haven't heard anything major yet when it comes to that one. MyGM is alright and I just avoid MyFaction whenever possible. 5) The interchangeable camera angles during matches is an AWESOME feature, and I wonder why it took so long for 2K to integrate it into the game. 6) Additional players in backstage brawls, up to 4 at a time, will make for some crazy and chaotic yet also fun scenarios. All in all, this new era of 2K games that started with 2K22 is mainly on a course of steady progression since then, so I'm definitely pre-ordering before Mania. (In case Cody loses)

I'm excited too man! I disagree about 23 though I absolutely loved it. Still playing my universe mode which I set up in the attitude era.. start in 1997 I'm going into wrestlemania 2000 now lol also I enjoyed the my rise and even the show case believe it or not(I know it's wasn't that popular).. I been having a blast though..exported both the female and male my rise CAWs and created 1 more dude and made a tag team plus a woman manager.. and threw them into the attitude era.. now 3 years in they are all 3 singles competitors but still escort each other to the ring and are all buddies lol even made them entrance videos and stuff.. I feel like there's a lot of fun to be had in universe if u create your own fun. I never put the game down this year.. 22 I honestly put down after a few months and 20 I played for like a week before switching right back to 19 lmao but 23 was awesome imo

I’m really curious on that camera feature. Can I give my matches the SVR angle? Do I have to reset it every match or will I be able to make it remember my shot. All this will be answered in time but I’m hopeful

How many years have we been waiting for a simple Special Guest Referee match type? Im so glad we are FINALLY getting it back. Hopefully they can expand the GM mode too. Make it just like SVR 2006 GM mode.

I just wish we could get a good season mode like the old school games where i can pick someone and play.
