WWE 2K24 NEW ARENA IS HERE! (Update 1.09 + Leaked Content?) 

I wish there were a lot more outdoor daytime areas. They look so much better than the regular ones to me.

I hope 2k adds the option to have an LED barricade. Am I the only one?

The only reason I bought the Wrestlemania edition is because it will be my last WWE game and that the Wrestlers that needed to be unlocked with this edition, were automatically playable. I play this game on occasion and don't need to play thru the entire game just to unlock something. Its more of a leisure thing to me, but that's just me.

i'm impressed with this arena. i sat in section 109 and that stage facing screenshot they posted looked almost indistinguishable. i think 2k has been facing pressure from modders. i'll still use the modded one because i like the added touch of the Lincoln Financial signage through the arena

My most wanted personas are rocky maivia, 123 kid, hunter hearst helmsley, stunning steve austin.

They really trynna treat MyFaction like it's MyTeam, and I hate it...

It's sad that this arena only has it in the 40 version of WrestleMania, Here in Brazil, this version is almost half of our minimum wage lol

I am so HAPPY that 2K has given us (people who bought the 40 years of WM edition) the WrestleMania 40 arena because usually they don’t we would have to wait until the next game to get the new WM arena.

I'm impressed with the WM40 Arena, hands down. But, while I anticipated no actual patches, I think maybe sneaking in some additional material and stage/LED board movie selections (Rumble, SummerSlam, NXT Great American Bash, updated Backlash among a few to name), that would have been icing on the cake in this update. But for the moment, having an updated WrestleMania movie selection (I will hope for additional) to edit in Create an Arena will be a nice time occupation.

Asking players to pay for an inaccurate arena & inaccurate persona cards is wild

Here from the 2k basketball community, my faction is just like my team, you have to pass a money wall to get anything you want in these modes. It’s ridiculous but they also never listen so that’s just the way it is ig

I think they need to remove teams section in Universe mode, and just have it be selected by regular game Teams area. It's ridiculous because when creating teams in regular game, you have to do it all over again in Universe mode. There's no reason to have the same thing in Universe mode. Just make it link to your regular teams select on direct game modes. That's why there's problems in these games because of duplicate selection screens.

It's not worth $20. I think $10 is fair. I think if it came with 10 wrestlemania attires and the arena it would've been worth $20.

Great news about the Arena! So excited to try it out. My hype for persona cards has died since Roman and Rock came out. Like, I was grinding hard, finished Proving Grounds and Towers. But I just couldn’t get Roman or Rock 😭 What was the point man? So yeah, I ain’t touchin that mode anymore

They should just connect WWEs music library to the game as a streaming service within the game. Hell even micro transaction to unlock songs

They should have added more showcase matches or added all 40 mania arenas

titantron specific videos do not play on the stage.. as that video is tied to stage video slot. Thus, no custom titantrons on the main stage.

The lighting in the ring for the night time arena is too dark and there's a horrible grey hue when the lights are off for entrances etc... dunno, something off about it. Stage and everything looks sweet though.

I am still waiting for them to fix the deluxe edition dlc. I bought the season pass AND the 40 Years pack (a week apart, not together) because I couldn’t afford the Deluxe edition in one sum, I had to space it out. So I’ve actually spent MORE than I would have now because I was told that the deluxe edition versions of Bianca and Rhea would be unlocked, but they weren’t. I’ve heard conflicting reports saying yes they are in the season pass version and no they are exclusive to the deluxe edition but they may pop up as separate DLC, so I’m waiting for that to come out to fix that

We really have to stop this excitement about persona cards. All I hear is that 2k is locking stuff behind an insufferable process in a game mode the majority of people have no interest in touching. There is nothing positive about that. It is not cool

As someone who got the 40 years of mania pack, I got it cause i just dont like showcase but wanted the unlockables for it, but it stilld doesn't unlock EVERYTHING, not getting acess to about 15 or so arenas unless i play through, which mind you the purpose of that pack is basically so I don't have to, so I definitely feel like im not getting all I should with it.

I bought the 40 years after the fact, mostly for Macho King and the arena. And you're right, they're both ok at best. I'm more annoyed from a completist standpoint that I bought the standard edition and there is no way to purchase the Bianca and Rhea skins that are exclusive to the deluxe edition.

The Wrestlemania 40 arena looks great. But on thing I noticed when I selected The Rock '01 and the trons at the entrance play the stage movie instead of the titantron movie as because it shows the WWE scratch logo instead of his titantron video. You'll notice it with Seth Rollins, Drew Mcintyre and Bianca for example no graphics or videos on the trons at the entrance. Someone tell me that they see the same thing.

Can you get it in the wrestlemania 40 pack or do you have to get the full addition?

WM XL isn't even accurate and considering people bought this it should be: The ramp is too small, No PRIME logo or Hydration station 🤷‍♂️

They added The great balls of fire arena into 2k18 post launch. I remember being hella excited just to get something new. I hope they can make it a common thing in the future similar to the persona cards, but through patch updates rather than DLC.

Side note the night time wrestlemania xl area is not in universe mode so that needs to be patched at least on ps 5

I wish they would do a couple of patches where a few old wcw and ecw arenas that include all the designs so u can include them in universe mod. I think esp u should be able to get all the mygm and myrise items outside of the modes when u complete them.

I also find it interesting that WWE 2K is releasing two persona cards for two wrestlers who contracts are expiring in Becky Lynch and Chad Gable. Does this mean those two wrestlers have secretly re-signed and WWE is dropping hints?

i bought the wrestlemania edition hoping we’ll get extra arenas im disappointed with the selection because a decade ago we got all of the wrestlemanias and i know it wasn’t possible to implement that in showcase but scraping previous manias like 22, 37, etc. odd and still going through the showcase for the arenas was torture

Bought the season pass for the video game and I’m upset that the 40 years of Wrestlemania is separate and not included and have to pay 20 extra bucks, just to play in an arena. Could care less of the other superstars.

I wish so badly.. they would give us a new pedigree animation.. like the one they had in the cutscene from 2k19 Daniel Bryan vs HHH.. they should’ve added it with the new entrance with the WM30 HHH

I only get the daytime version of the arena and no commentary on Xbox. It looks like I'll have to wait and HOPE it gets fixed in the next patch.

For those that purchased the 40 years pack, like me, we already spent over $100 for the all access. The way I see it, the persona cards should also be included.

I'm surprised they did this. We usually have to wait till next game to receive new Wrestlemania arenas. Which is kind of a selling point for them. With all these amazing updates and how great community creations is, they should be making WWE Games every 2 years instead of it being a yearly thing. So that way it gives the community time to enjoy all the content. And it gives the developers more time to work on the game and make significant difference in game quality. So it feels like the consumer is actually purchasing a new game rather than just an updated version of the previous one.

I love having the Mania Attires for my universe mode to make mania feel more real. Butttt I don’t really use the DLC a lot outside of Undashing Cody and CM Punk. Could’ve def saved on the 40 years of Wrestlemania

For me the wrestlemania 40 arena doesn’t say Philadelphia it says Des Moines Iowa, England, etc. also the night time arena doesn’t have the right loading screen I hope they fix this.

The Mania pack probably isn't worth it as a $20 dollar pack, but I feel like the full package for $120 is worth it.

In this patch I feel like they need to give us not only the wrestlemania arena update Dwayne Rock Johnson an intro update what are the superstars. And the SmackDown and raw arenas tweaks as well add more all-in-one big patch. That way I could feel like wrestlemania XL

I didn’t get the 40 Years pack. It didn’t look worth the money for me. $20 for what amounts to alternate attires and one arena? No thanks. If it had been truly exclusive and unique characters, fine, I’ll shell out the money. But I don’t need another version of Charlotte or Triple H or Savage, and an arena ain’t worth $20 on its own.

I think i got the 40 years pack on a flash sale? I liked the alt versions, and if they make it a bonus content package that keeps adding on? Works for me.

2K screwed up with that pre order bonus, instead of dropping everything all at once they desided to charge 40 bucks to dripfeed it. I think it's time 2k just drop the idea of pre orders altogether. As far as the persona cards, I wouldn't be surprised if they fucked it all up by charging us for them. At this point I'm pretty much done with 2K and its failure to give fans what they want. I DO NOT want to waste VC points or MFP paying for a persona card, because let's face it they're only going to charge us triple for that card. The better option here is to just drop all the easter egg crap and pay to clam crap and just give us these cards via locker codes like they did with shamus'09.

I only have a couple nitpicks for the arena, and they’re very very minor and not at all game changing. 1. The WM 40 arena doesn’t have the Prime logo on the ring. And 2. At WM 40 the X and L trons seemed at least slightly different than the regular trons, which was something I hoped they did in the game but it makes sense they didn’t.

Well, I just tested both WM 40 arenas The Daytime one is almost perfect but: -The location is wrong, it appears to be random when it has to say Philadelphia. -For some Superstars the barricade tron doesn't show their videos, just the WM 40 default video. The Nightime one has some other problems: -First the presentation screen before the entrances is the generic one with a big W in the background -Location doesn't appear, at all. -The normal nameplates don't show during entrances, at all (special nameplates, like Roman's, seems to appear normally). -Just as before, during entrances for some Superstars the barricade tron just shows the WM 40 default video; but again, just for some Superstars like McIntyre or Alexa.

Would be sweet to have the new tag belts patched in

I did see that there were new unlockable areas for Becky and Chad so expected the persona cards. Also, the fact that the WrestleMania arena has fans behind the large screen at the back of the arena makes me laugh. Few random buildings too, including a "Vegas Hotel" which might be a fun nod.

I know this is a really odd nit-pick but I noticed if you choose the WM 40 night time arena, the venue location doesn't pop up when you start a match and the match-up screen uses the basic 2k24 match-up screen instead of the WM 40 match-up screen And also on the day time version, yes the venue location shows up and the correct match-up screen appears, but the location must be set to random instead of just Philly because I've gotten Italy and Kansas City as locations when loading a match Only way you can get around it if anyone would like, at the moment, is to make a custom show and assign the proper location to Philadelphia (nighttime arena isn't selectable for some reason in create-a-show) I'm sure 2K will patch it eventually but if anyone wants an accurate experience, that's what I did

I wish they could have at least added all the arenas for the characters, particularly WM 22 for Mysterio. It’s already made, they can just give us the same one from 2K23

The Ref in universe is now working. I pick a ref in settings then when I play it goes back to default ref not the ref I pick in show settings

Just wish we got some of those WMXL trons (like Iyo Sky)
