smackdown is unique show .has heath slater as an entertainer .miz with his epic promos , also ziggler is doing very good with miz in the matches .styles with his epic character , ambrose has amazing attitude and john cena isnt that boring like in the past .the writers in smackdown are amazing
+Harrys Papa he was saying, 'We are the champion.' Like the Daniel Bryan - Kane tag team, where they both insisted they were the 'Tag team champion.' Brilliant.
No, they are becoming boring... They had a great run with this gimmick, they were one of the funniest things in WWE for a long time, but it is already too much... And they are 3 of the best wrestlers in WWE, it just has to be said
I was almost sure they'd drop the titles at summer slam vs Enzo and cass but that didn't happen I hope they're waiting for a big ppv for Enzo and cass to be crowned as champs
The New Day is the worst, I feel as if they are one of the key reasons why the tag team division on Raw is a joke. They don't deserve to break the record. It's painful to watch their promos, I understand they sell a lot to kids, but WHAT the literal FUCK is creative thinking?! You took one of the most dominant tag teams from the Indies and made them a joke!!!!
Cliff it's pitiful, I remember coming back to wrestling after taking an almost 8 year hiatus and thinking "Who made these jokers tag team champs?" And true they have had funny segments, but for the most part, I'm just waiting for someone to come interfere and shut them up.
I agree. The Raw tag team division may have more star power on it but other than Enzo and Cass, it's just shit when its compared to Smackdown. When watching a tag team promo or any promo on Smackdown, it feels more like real life. Most of Raw's promos are just trash mainly because of the PG restrictions and the crappy writing. And with Monday Night Football back for the time being, viewership of Raw is going down. (Not as much as TNA with them competing with Thursday Night Football. I don't know what they were thinking competing with America's Game instead of Smackdown but I don't run them) Raw should try and be as edgy as Smackdown if they want to draw more people into their audience. Smackdown doesn't need to do that cause they're on a night where nothing else major is on.
Yeah shuck - in and jivin doing minstrel type shit for their well known rasicts boss, doing female shit like twerking so they look emasculated in front of typical insecure white males. lol yeah but hey YOU have a better grasp on it than me.. ok bruh... ok.. you're just a random on a youtube post
Sami Zayn was never supposed to even make it to the WWE. He lost to a 6x world champion. The guy is doing fine. And I say that as a fan. Sometimes you get those people who lose more than they win, and with Sami, it plays into his character.
when you're booked to lose every match, eventually you don't care about the paycheck and would rather have a positive legacy. Right now their legacy NJPW stars who couldn't make it "with the big boys"
Trade Gallows and Anderson to Smackdown for Usos. They can feud with American Alpha. Form a heel Usos/Jax /Roman Stable to battle New Day/Sasha Banks or leave Roman solo and put Samoa Joe in the stable Reform the Wyatt family Slow burn build up to next Year's wrestlemania Charlotte vs Bayley for the championship at WM Make the Roman stable appear unbeatable until Asuka, Nakamura and that other guy get called up. And all 3 stables (New Day, Samoans, and Asian stable) battle at Summerslam. Heel Roman vs Nakamura at Summerslam. Adam Cole Babay and Dolton Castle and the Boys to NXT. Print money.
whoa he pulled out the " you mad bro " phrase 😅 guess I'm roasted. didn't know people still uses that term in 2016 is it 09 again. nah I'm not " mad bro" just was pointing out the obvious corniest comment you made. but considering your reply making lame jokes must be your thing. in that case keep it up ;)
LORDE OWS It seems like you just didn`t get the joke. You shouldn`t take things too seriously. Especially here in the comment section. Всего хорошего, дружище. :)
You brought up a great point, Adam. I guess that is the new thing with WWE, writing better stuff for the heels, making them more interesting and more liked than the faces on the roster.
To my knowledge, it was never like this. This is Writing 101 gone totally wrong: you write the good guys to be likable and the bad guys despised. WWE is doing it backwards!
I think it's more psychological than that. In this day and age, people hate being told who to cheer for. When you position someone as a face, it's almost like the WWE is outright saying 'Cheer this man', and crowds naturally do the opposite. Unless that man has spent more than 5 year on the indies of course , in which case he'll be cheered no matter what.
#HEELCanvas I agree, I mean, they are just boring as tag team champs... The only reason I was glad they won because tonight (Monday) is Day 400 which is a great achievement...
They should make one brand exclusive ppv per month. It'll provide longer builds for feuds culminating at ppvs and allows breathing time between both brands.
Honestly, in this battle of who has the better PPV, Smackdown won. Backlash seem to go right to the point, and no nonsense. Clash of Champions was good, but it kinda felt like a Raw episode, imo.
sean naraynsingh I have real friends, you're like 10 so... Go ahead and say you're like 19 or something but u and me both no you aren't... So say you can book both brands... Actually you can, it would just... Suck more than it does now
i dont know if everyone feels this way, but tj perkins is the most cringeworthy wrestler i have ever seen. his dabs are cancer, every single hurricanrana he did last night was a botch, and he has fake enzo pants minus the overalls.
Clash of Champions should become a dual-brand PPV where the champions of Raw battle the champions of SD. No titles at stake, simply champion vs. champion: World vs. Universal, Intercontinental vs. U.S., etc. Storylines don't have to be that complicated. Whoever holds the belts leading up to the PPV get ready to wrestle. Each match can then be given a substantial amount of time, highlighting the participants' wrestling abilities. This would truly make it a clash of champions.
I thought the finish of Cesaro vs Sheamus was a no contest because of Cesaro's injury. It scared the shit out of me. If New Day continues like this, the crowd is going to turn on them like they did with Cena in 2006.
Roman winning was probably the best thing the ppv had going for it. rusev coming out and claiming to be the only true American hero was just fucking stupid and pissing everyone off not to mention that horrible MULTIPLE WEDDING CELEBRATIONS not to mention not being able to protect his wife's honor I'm sorry but rusevs run with the us title this time was a complete fucking joke making the title a joke.
I don't care much for Roman, I like Rusev more but having Roman win was the right call. Now Rusev can chase after the belt again and possibly win it back in early 2017 or go into a rivalry with someone completely different. Plus, this gives Roman something to do (because let's face it, they need him because of the casuals) so it keeps him away from the Universal Title.
Clash of Champions was awesome. They messed up with the tag match but all of the matches exceeded my expectations. Cesaro vs Sheamus especially because that match was awesome
Yup, that's the shortest and most accurate description you can put it in - Clash of Champions felt like a longer episode of RAW. I enjoyed it, but it didn't leave me with the PPV satisfaction.
It was not a botch fest, what spot was so bad, because I don't remember seeing anything bad. Besides isn't it hypocritical to complain about botching when there was a big botch in the sheamus/cesaro match where Cesaro almost broke his neck?
I think the main problem with the cruiserweights (apart from the "segregation ie. different ropes etc.) is that there's no real emotional investment yet. Those who did not follow CWC don't know much about the wrestlers. So I predict it'll be much better in a few months time.
Backlash was better than Clash of Champions, it had better story telling, like Miz v Ziggler, AJ winning the title, and both HeathRhyno and Becky Lynch winning emotional title matches. Clash of Champions had Bayley LOSING WITH A FUCKING BIG BOOT, Owens looking like a weak champ ( he deserves better), and Sami Zayn LOSING A MATCH WITH JERICHO TO BUILD JERICHO FOR A TITLE MATCH, and the Club practically getting buried ..........Again. Backlash was better. #teamSmackDownLive
If Sheamus vs Cesaro had gone on for a few more minutes, had a couple more of false finishes and an ACTUAL F'ING WINNER, it would've been the match of the night.
That was a Clash of Champions worthy What just Happened. All the right content was there and the spirit felt slightly off. So while It was great to have seen it, it's not one you'll go back to in 30 years and say "Do you remember This one? Man it was amazing"
You're completely right about WWE''s schedule atm though There's too much fucking WWE Like literally too much Raw needs a cut down to 2 hours Same with Smackdown though to even out the brands It should be Monday Night Raw Friday Night Smackdown Both of them two hours Good bit of brand heat every now and then Actually make it seem like a wrestling show as well, rather than this ''sports entertainment'' nonsense, they're wrestlers, every now and then they should be called that Leave NXT on but no superstars or heat or any other bullshit show around there NXT and it should be one and a half hours or one hour And then every 6 weeks a ppv, make it something worth being excited for, something fans have waited to see, make it so the buildup to the ppv has been fucking hyped Fuck this I'm going playing WWE universe mode
Cesaro and Sheamus had a great series and it couldn't have been booked better. Both look strong and now will be a force in the tag team division. Even if they didn't team up the finish works for both guys to go onto bigger and better things.
What kills me is that triple h was there! They had a video on their youtube channel of him being there and I believe Seth Rolllins face turn is complete.
