I find it hard to complain about the basics given their price point. Especially since they have stayed under $10 while most other lines have increased in price. The basic figures get a lot of flack for their lack of articulation but most of us are just going to have them stand on a shelf anyway. And they are no worse when it comes to articulation than the Jakks RA figures were. I recently got the suited basic figures of MVP and Raul Mendoza and they are very solid. They even came with accessories. I would definitely like to see Mattel release more basic figures in street clothes going forward.
The Triple H was a must buy for me because of NXT, and it's a very effective figure. Basic of course, (no pun intended) but that suited body fits him well. It seems like it's too big for some guys, but not Triple H. I just couldn't pull the trigger on the bald HBK, but I can see why you bought it. I really like the HBK with Cena, but never saw it on clearance. Big fan of the suited figures too. MVP was the one I wanted most and I have him coming from Amazon. Hopefully we get more basics of non-wrestler figures. I'd like a Michael Cole, Pat McAfee, suited Sonya Deville.
I could see a Shawm Michaels completionist getting the bald version of him, but that would be a pass for me. I would get Survivor series 2002 Shawn or SummerSlam Street fight Shawn. Those would both be really cool.
2nd viewing after early Patreon viewing. Got the bald Shaun and stuck a dx shirt on him. NEW 1 MIN toy hunt up on my channel. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-NlHXKujl2tA.html plus found some Squishmallows.
