Brock needed more time on learning technique and movement for his position. If he had that down, he would have been the JJ Watt of the NFL long before he got into the league. Brock had the strength and the agility but he lacked the full knowledge on how to move, swim, and shift correctly. But I give him a ton a credit for trying out considering his circumstances back in 04 with all the injures and punishment pro-wrestling did to him.

I love the fact that a few WWE wrestlers used to play American football 🏈 especially in college. Best examples are The Rock, Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar (even though he didn't play college football) etc.

He literally had one tackle lol. True wrestling and mma beast in his prime, but let's be honest. Never a real football player... When a 6'4" 325 lbs Starting Offensive Tackle sights him in, he would have had zero chance. Atleast he gave a solid effort tho. I respect Brock for giving it a shot. Still a beast

Brock actually could of been a really good Running back. He was pretty fast and athletic for being 6'3 and a guy like him would of been hard to take down would of been a freight train coming at you he would of steam rolled through any defense

I played against him in High School. Back then, High School Football Players in South Dakota who were 6ft+ and 200Lb+ were not very common in the SD 11B division. As a 225lb sophomore, he was one of the biggest players in the Confrence, on his Football team, but he was also one of the fastest players in the conference. His raw talent got him far enough to find success on the field.

He definitely did better than I would have guessed but he didn’t have the off the ball reflexes a D-Line man needs which makes since since hasn’t played since he was in HS. He would have had a really hard time against the starting or second team O-Line if he made the team, it’s just such a jump in talent. His victory was that he went for it and the fact that he wasn’t destroyed by guys younger and far more experienced says a lot about how great of a athlete he was and is!

As far as I know he never made it onto a 53 man roster. He played sparingly in the pre-season against other 3rd stringers and you can see how horrible he was at it. To say that he was part of the NFL is laughable.

I understand that but the timing just seems a little interesting. Brock is fighting in a UFC event while under contract with WWE where the event has had the main event messed up twice. Plus, this doesn't really help the NFL at all It's not like anybody cares that Brock played a few preseason games.
