Bad Show, this was probably one of the worst WrestleManias in WWE history, next to 1995's and 2000's events. I know I love the WWE in 1999, i know the attitude era is a huge successful and greatest time to be a WWE fan but, but this show is terrible. Hardcore title triple threat opens the show and it was fun and entertaining but should've been better. The Tag title match is short. Brawl For All is probably worst match of the night, there were so many worst matches of the show. Mankind/Big Show is bad, at least Big Show KOS Mr. McMahon and turns on him and The Corporation, Kane/HHH is good and Chyna turns on Kane and her rejoined DX and reunited with Triple H. Shane McMahon vs X-Pac is also good, on shocking turn of events, Triple H pedigrees X-Pac and turned on DX, him and Chyna would join the Corporation because it was a ruse. The Hell in A Cell match is the worst match of the night. Taker hanging Big Boss Man is one of the most disturbing moments in WrestleMania history. The Main Event saves the show from becoming a complete disaster, I know the match is predictable and far from unpredictable but it is one of the best Attitude era WrestleMania matches in history. Two men carried the WWE when the Attitude era begins, they made money and draw ratings and kill WCW even during the Monday Night war. Their match at WrestleMania 17 just gotten even better, Mr. McMahon's reaction when Austin won the title says it all, but Rock's first WM main event puts over the great one, and nobody sells the stunner like The Rock does.
Rock/Austin saves the event from being a thumbs down show.
