That type of pipe should have stakes on the side so they don’t bulge out. Plus the scale house personal knows that, your not the first to have that happen to. Shippers try to get away with as much as they can. They also know the load will bulge once there is two layers of it and after you winch it all down, it bulges. The stakes would keep it from bulging out and that would make it bulge up. So your load would be a bit higher. Your puppies look great. Becca, I moved oversize loads all the time and you can get a oversize permit in Wyoming for multiple pieces because you’re not over 80,000 once you go over 80,000 then it’s considered a divisible load and that rule comes in affect but then guys didn’t know what they were talking aboutbut you have that out here on the road

You gotta watch those widths on flatbed. It’s easy to hang over the edge with some of the weird crap we haul. In Missouri, you can’t hang over the front or the back at a maximum of 53 foot load. Though, they are a little relaxed on hanging over the front.

Yeah Becca those Crock-Pot work really good in the truck I used one all the time. Get yourself some good piece of meat veggies put it all together in the morning before you start your day and when you stop for the day to eat dinner it's ready.

Truck stops make it laughably easy to get sucked into an unhealthy lifestyle. When I started OTR I fell into the same traps that a lot of drivers do, eating super sugary foods and drinks and eating fastfood. What worked for me was cutting out unhealthy stuff one thing at a time, because going cold turkey just didn't work. Swapping from drinking regular sodas to sugar free ones and water, and choosing healthier options at fastfood places and truck stops had an insane effect on my health. It can be hard and I still get unhealthy stuff from time to time, but being able to lose weight while still driving 10-11 hours each day is more than I could ask for. Plus the little stuff like parking as far away from the truck stop as possible or taking walks around the towns I stop in, every little bit helps.

what is the actual dimension of the pipe????? If it is a shifting problem, then just alternate every other strap hook and winch left to right . This way you create a push pull concept on every other strap, and the load with ride straight.

20:00 if you tighten those, it's going to get worse! Those are soft, so when you tighten them it's going to squish down and make the side go out further. You would have to loosen the load to make them not squat so much.. Sounds like a WY flex!

You have your straps properly placed inside the rub rail. And they also sit deep in the groove on the pipe, which offers some protection. But technically, with the bulge, part of your straps are outside of your rub rails. Depending on an inspector's interpretation of the rules, that could be construed as a violation. The intent of the rule is, to help prevent the straps from being cut, and therefore the load from becoming less-than-secure in the event of a side-swipe. Side posts are a good way to limit the bulge of multi-layers of flexible pipes. I've run into the same problem hauling bundles of wooden fence posts to and from a pressure treatment facility. Two bundles wide on the deck, and a third bundle in the middle up top. The straps loosen during travel, and each re-tightening makes the load even wider. The practical routes did not pass any inspection places, so it never became an issue. I've hauled loads of same-size pipe out of Lane Enterprises in Virginia at both Wytheville and Dublin, but never mixed sizes. I'm curious, how did you secure the smaller inner pipes?

They’re talking about the middle of the pipe hanging 4 inches over the side . So if you took a 6 foot level from the center of the pipe and made the level read plumb it will be four inches back from the level to the trailer .
