Leaders in Kansas City, Kansas, hosted a meeting Monday morning to discuss the possibility of the Kansas City Chiefs and Kansas City Royals moving across the state line. "Wyandotte County is open for business. And we would love to have those conversations, especially with our sports teams," said Unified Government Mayor/CEO Tyrone Garner. State Representative Pam Curtis spearheaded the meeting to update Garner and other Unified Government officials about a possible plan to bring up a sales tax or STAR bond proposal to help build stadiums for both the Chiefs and Royals.
