Here's what I gathered - I'm doubt that was ever going to be a proper character per se. Based on what the storyline was about, i.e, Howdy tormenting him to put the "mask" back on (i.e The Fiend) and become a monster again, and Bray trying hard to convince himself that he's not the same person (clearly in denial like Howdy claimed), I'm certain the mask was supposed to be symbolic of him slowly slipping back into his old ways of hiding behind a mask to do horrible things. If you remember, he put it on after the match specifically before brutalizing Knight, and now that we know all of this was leading to a new Fiend, it seems pretty clear to me that it was supposed to be this "transitional" mask he was going to use for a while and hide behind before eventually succumbing and becoming The Fiend again. For all intents and purposes, that character was essentially what The Fiend was - no selling and shrugging off any offense/seemingly feeling no pain, the mannerisms, him using the mandible claw.. Gotta say tho, that was such an amazing look and I wish we got to see more. That mask looked so good, LOVED how cold and emotionless it looked. Just sinister. To me, it felt even darker than The Fiend somehow.

The Final Testament hasn't been booked worth a shit and it's a shame. Kross is an awesome character and I've followed him since his time in TNA...I would love nothing more than for him to be involved in some fashion with The Wyatt Sicks6.

Not really bro. I mean u can absolutely hate this stuff for what it is but there is no way this is bad for buisness. The amount of views they have generated across all social media platforms is insane and the reception is LARGELY POSITIVE. Maybe it might not have a significant impact on increasing tv ratings but there are other ways this faction can contribute to the buisness. The first thing is generating great social media views which does matter to the WWE. Their debut was trending number 1 on RU-vid n I think they will have number of hits in the future as well. Next thing is merchandise. This is the main thing. Some people don't realise how loved Bray was and how much some people love this super natural kind of stuff. I can fking bet that their merchandise will easily become among their best selling ones. Then it also helps bring in those fans who are more into the entertainment side and not hardcore wrestling. That's probably why WWE even gave it a shot cuz they know that there are people who absolutely love this kind of stuff and the reception that they got proves that. As far as opinions are considered so majority of the people right now are very positive about the faction. Those who didn't like or hate it for whatever reason are in a minority and miniorty opinion doesn't matter to WWE. Supernatural stuff if done right and kept at a low is fun and there is definitely place for that in wrestling. As long as WWE books them right and doesn't let them get stale WWE will make a hell lot of money out of them without a shadow of doubt.

That's where they messed up with The Fiend! Why would a bunch of "supernatural monsters" be interested in winning championships?!?

But with Endeavor doing such a great job of making things seem more realistic, I don't want to see "spooky wooky" stuff. It won't make any sense in the context of the show!

Times have changed buddy. Brock Lesnar did interviews while being the hottest heel in the company, Roman Reigns had a number of wholesome moments with the Tribal Chief gimmick. People know now (except you) how to differentiate between wrestling and real life. Faces and heels are real people that have a life and fans. What were you expecting? That they would go to Whataburguer and wreck everything while having their costumes on?
