I agree. Wynonna has an amazing voice. She puts so much emotion into every song she sings. If she ever has a concert in your area go see her she is worth every penny.
I seen her once, and it was the most boring show I've ever seen. She just had a guitar and sang some songs. Stood at microphone, never used stage, never left mic stand. No banter, not much emotion, no show. What was wrong? Maybe venue. Maybe just a bad day. Maybe I guess it was just me, because, I love her CD's and she certainly can blow, as she does in this song. I would give her concert another try, if I'm so lucky.

When i Look at her i see her Strong and Weak side but she's also Real. I wish i could meet her someday and tell her my Painful Story. So i know what she's Feeling Inside.
I love this lady I can listen to her song at the song I just saw her spirit and soul comes inside me and I believe in her faith which takes a lot of tear from me I am 70 I have my children I don't see one is in London ones around so I even had to plan my own funeral or burial and I won't have a funeral but everybody's dead so I listen to you and it makes my makes me calm thank you that God bless you with such a voice 🙏❤

As a teen - it was the Judds and their music that spoke words I couldn't and lyrics of hope and happiness to remind me to never give up! Their music hugged me so much in my life & shed many tears with me. These ladies will never know how their music became my silent best friend that I could always trust to hug me and help me grieve whatever I needed to get past or survive thru. As a teen on their music - I hoped that one day - I could be strong voiced one day. To speak what I meant and say what I feel to whoever and make sure that my actions spoke louder than words. Anytime - I listen to their sings - now - at 47; I feel accomplished in doing this & realize how I have yet work to do on myself also. To be a voice for those who still can't find theirs. To use music & lyrics to share the very real, beautiful, hard, grievous, and goodbyes that happens in reality to still find the beautiful truth beneath --- that love is not just a myth - but a mystery. And the most excruciating process of life that it is worth it to have loved and lost than to never loved at all. She sings for all of us with our tears, our fears, our grieves, our laughter and also our happy beautiful memories!
my sis and went to vegas...like early in 2000 and saw her in a small venue at Caesars palace. we were fortunate to get a front row lounge seat and table complete with waiters. lol. anyway wynonna and her voice put on one hell of a show. to be remembered!

Wynonna is not 'just singing" this song, but she's singing from her heart and asking God about "HIS LOVE". Notice how may times she looks upward; there's a sincerity and a cry out from her intermost being; I pray she finds God's true love; it's knocking at the door of her heart!!!!!!!!

Thank you. I just wish the REAL talent in the music business would be recognized with power, awards and the big bucks. When I go to a concert I want to hear a great voice. I could care less who can "shake it" best. And I hate the "porno shows" meant to cover up for a lack of real singing talent. Glad you agree, friend :)
Wynonna sings with authority and passion ... and compassion for the human condition... of being strong yet weak at times, and longing for union, for connection .. and i feel her heart and we are blessed to have her voice expressing true human feeling .. human desire and LONGING >>>> for what is real ..
I have always loved this song and props to Foreigner...but sorry, as a woman this version of Wynonnas' ...I feel actually physical pain when she sings it.It's a spiritual experience...brings me to my knees in prayer everytime.
