X (2022) | Reaction | First Time Watching! 

Mia Goth is such a talent. Playing Maxine and both old Pearl and young Pearl in the prequel. On top of having to cover her British accent with an American Southern accent. Ti West has said that not only does Maxine look exactly like Pearl when she was young but they are almost like the same person. Pearl was sweet once too. It's just that living through different events in different times made them very different. I cant wait to see the prequel movie 'Pearl' to see the origin story of how Pearl became a monster.

Ok I'm kind of confused cause this happened in Alanda's video too. Everyone clowns on the boyfriend for getting mad his girlfriend wanted to be in a porno but like.......why is that a bad thing? He was wrong about how he went about it, and he did agree with them that their lifestyles were harmless and appropriate for THEM but he was mad cause that wasn't his lifestyle. They presumably had a monogamous relationship (considering societal expectation and her religious jewelery) so he was mad cause she wanted to fuck someone else, make him watch the whole time, and didn't even bother asking if it was ok within their boundaries as a couple. Hell she got off on him watching her while looking shell shocked. I think people see the sex themes in this movie as "free love vs restricted tradition" but then ignore that the movie is trying to show off why both sides can have faults. There's nothing wrong with being a porn star but she's not faking it, she's still having actual sex and that should be discussed with your committed partner beforehand unless you're both already established to be comfortable with that. I guarantee if he wanted to join the porn without asking her first if she'd be fine watching and letting him do that, none of you would be on his side. Alanda was like "you did nothing wrong sweetie" and all i can think is she kinda did? Like gaslight, girboss, gatekeep or whatever but it's still a shitty thing to do to your partner. Would you guys be ok with your partner just springing onto you that they're doing a porno without even talking with you first?

I loved this movie, and Mia Goth’s performance. It’s really cool to see her acting and slaying it, because I remember when she was huge for her modeling on tumblr about a decade ago. She’s quite talented. Her eyebrows are just very light and very thin naturally. I think they’re how she got noticed in the first place ☺️

I have to say X and Scream are my favorite movies of 2022 so far. Hopefully the prequel lives up to its predecessor. I liked that Wayne says to RJ: "People's eyes are gonna pop out of their skulls then they see this" and then THAT happens to him.

Mia Goth and Brittany Snow both looked so amazing in this movie.

I didn't know Kid Cudi was in this after I looked up the cast. The guy can act too!

I went to go see this movie and theaters with friends and lord what a time. When the old people were fucking I was so uncomfortable I literally told my friends “What did we sign up for” I laughed so hard when the old man died of a heart attack and the old lady blasting herself through the door.

I was so surprised to learn that Jackson is played by Kid Cudi. He never came across as being played by someone whose famous for music or smth else. He seems like a legitimately good actor.

Thank you for this! Those wide shots were really uncomfortable. Maybe because we don't see those kind of lingering shots anymore? It made me think it was an homage to movies from the 70's, where they'd film a lot of scenery like that - especially westerns. All I know is it creeped me out. Zzavid said he reacted quickly to this so he can watch *his* favorite reactors without getting spoiled. I know you're one of his favorites (don't think we missed that shoutout), and it makes me so happy to see you all doing this together. Maxine didn’t just go in the house on her own, when she saw the old lady on the porch she waved her inside , that’s why she went in but she hs that phobia of people staring at her so that’s additionally why she was moving so hesitantly.

Omg! I loved this movie when I saw it in theatres! Just waiting for it to go digital instead of just renting😂 I was really impressed with this movie, slasher movies are a personal favorite and I just adored the look of this film it felt very 70s and authentic to me. Miss Jenna is KILLING IT (no pun intended) in the horror genres and Brittany Snow was fabulous as always! And Mia Goth was just mesmerizing to me and such an interesting choice for a final girl.
