Nice find Danny. They are treating the truck like it was owned by a retiree, babied its whole life and in showroom condition. My absolute top dollar would be like 10 grand. And I would still try to talk them down to 7 or 8.
Kinda sad to see a limited run special vehicle to be treated in such a way but also cool to see a vehicle that I absolutely adore be used for a serious job like that.
At least people are getting them used now and enjoying them. I’ve seen a lot come up for sale in Phoenix area and you can tell they are boarder patrol like this
@@dannyjohnsonsgarage ya im in cali. he took the raptor decals off, the "Ford" lettering off the grille and its on 37s rn. He still has the troy built console and the rear door locks are relocated to the side of the rear doors so captives couldnt open the doors. He also has the mounts for the cage
It would make a great trail rig or hunting truck but I think I would be all in at maybe 8k. That truck has had minimal maintenance maybe oil changes every 5k and that’s being very hopeful. I do like the basics of it but still being a Raptor.
Jake was saying the dings are probably from people throwing rocks at it LOL. Imagine people were probably thrown against it and their things slapped on top of the hood plus all the abuse its seen. Captives probably spit and bled inside it and who knows what else
