I met Wagner , back in Brazil in the earlies 80's. We wrote songs together and became great friends. Is lovely to see him on this video. Wagner is a gentleman, talented and a wonderful friend!
Me too it makes me really mad they turned him into a complete joke just to get more views my mom used to work with him and she said he was a lovely guy crazy but really kind and cheerful 😂😂
He would never have come 6th as a serious act. Louis has made many mistakes as a judge but picking Wagner as the wildcard act and making him do bonkers performances was his wisest decision.
Aww I loved that moment back in 2010 when the contestants opened with Celo Green - Forget You on one of the Sunday results and Wagba sang the "Why" part.
seriously...this guy could actually sing...why didnt they give him this kind of song in the rest of the season >> he may actually have been more popular if they had.
louis spoil his chances of winning! he made him more of a comedy act than a serious act, and his audition was not bad at all and he could have been a good singer
In the beginning I was thinking he was going to be one of the surprisingly great ones, of course, I was right. This guy is good! He has a cute personality too! lol
Wagner was fucked by those song choices. My man should have gone for the ballads like the audition! Louis was really pushing his old ass to his limits 🤣
He just BUTCHERED that gorgeous song. BUT, he is funny, and quite a character, and this show thrives on drama and human interest, far more than it does on actual talent.
@Chickenplague1 im not so sure, he has a few pitching issues and i think if given the right songs that suit voice in a nice soft baritone range he may have won me along with others over so i'm kinda 50/50
@Chickenplague1 Totally agree. It is a shame Simon wasn't his mentor. If Simon had been his mentor he would probably have had those kinds of songs. I hated Simon Cowell until now, but I like him because he was the only one in X Factor who treated Wagner well as far as I can see.
