Not going to lie, driving on the X platform is tough but I will get there and figure out how to make it work for me. It's slow in the South Florida market so adjustment, adaption and overcoming all the issues will take patience and time.

X (Uber) and Standard (Lyft) are all that is available in our area. Rides have become trash, absolute sewage.

$4 does not worth all the risks associated with a x rider. In my opinion, It’s ok to go down to x but not like this. They make you wait forever, they are either with groceries or kids, and almost always leave the car dirty. Please add a minimum dollar amount, trust me it is for your sanity!

Your comment is quite an eye opener on how Tesla (or similar qualifying car) drivers talk about X. That's all most of us qualify for.

@@ShelterDogs I used to do the same when all I had was x, focus on midsized rides with wealthy destinations.

Thank you. Do you find that on average destination in wealthy areas, you'll see a tip? I'm In Irvine, CA. It's awful in this area. .80/cents average offer. Where would you go if you were me and what would you stick to?

@@ShelterDogs try to be a reverse airport driver. Instead of waiting at the airport lot wait near high-end suburbs / hotels / business and only accept rides going to the airport or even better areas. At the airport use the 10 min priority to go back to these areas. Chances are you will get both better fares and tips.

@@ThiagoVelloso "Reverse airport driver." I love your terminology. Brutally honest about things, too. I'll try that. You're right, my instinct is to drive to SNA (John Wayne Airport) and wait for a ride. I should instead drive up to Yorba Linda (one of the richest suburbs in all of America). Newport Beach is also very rich. But very close to the airport. So you dead mile back it sounds like. Thank you.

Uber got a huge handout to pay bonuses for EVs. And obviously all they did is adjust the fare so they get to keep it.

I’m in Fort Lauderdale and pulling in $26 per hour this month on mostly X with some premier comfort and black sprinkled in. It ain’t the best but I can work with it until things pick up again.

@@andrade__o8653 Anything paying over $20 per hour that keeps me in areas where the $ is and the tips flow 🙏 lots of 3-5 dollar rides turn into 8 to 10 after tips. More trips the more opportunities for tips

Since the last ap update in Orlando, it's garbage after garbage. Even my comfort rides are barely a dollar a mile now. I just drove home after 3 hours on a Friday night. Let some other guy lose money all night, not me. I make over $30 an hour on a regular basis, but this week is showing almost nothing to cherry pick. I saw a $3 ride today... $3.. I won't open my Audi door for $3, let alone drive you somewhere.

I would rather sit home and wait for a better ride than take these shit rides and kill my car. I learned my lesson to the tune of $10K by putting 40K miles on my car last year.
