X JAPAN - I.V. - DRUMMER REACTS 

Actually I.V. was not for 4 remaining member. It's 'Intravenous ' as medical terms (mentioned in lyric > I.V. in my vein Do you feel where's it's vein ) and the song was the soundtrack of movie SAW IV. The guitarist who passed away in '97 name Hideto 'Hide' Matsumoto. The very last guitar track he recorded before he died was used in this song as the first track after the band reunited in 2008 (they were disbanded in '97). When they touring since reunited, Hide's videos and records from previous concerts still included in the show as dedication to him. Fans goes crazy when they see Hide hologram starts playing 'Art Of Life' live on stage next to other members ❤

The Guitarist was Hide he passed back in 97 and the bass player you see in the video is Heath and he is still alive and well. But he replaced the first player after he was removed from the band and has also passed back in 13.

The lead guitarist hide (Hideto Matsumoto) was the one who passed away on 2 May 1998, at age 33. This song was released on 23 January 2008 and it features a guitar track from hide. The other members are Toshi (vocals), Pata (rhythm guitar), Heath (bass) and Yoshiki (drums/piano). And I think its name is pronounced still "I.V." as there is a verse that goes "I.V. in my vein..." I would recommend the songs X, Stab Me in the Back, Orgasm, Blue Blood, Kurenai, and Art of Life for more druming analysis. Yoshiki is considered a legendary drummer in Japan.

Yoshiki, the drummer, composer, pianist, etc is actually a huge fan and supporter of Band-Maid. Unfortunately Toshi, the lead vocalist, was sucked into a religious cult destroying the band.
