They should've kept those lines with Jean and Professor X battling inside their minds. Now that I look at the original I'm like "why the hell are they just staring at each other while the whole house is being destroyed?" lol So many good scenes, like the final battle too and they decided to delete them :(
along with Wolverine challenging and preparing the X-Men for battle as a teacher instead of being their leader, Wolverine & Storm duo tag-team against Juggernaut at Jean's house, Storm using her other elemental powers in battle at Alcatraz, the tag-team action with IceMan in iceform and Colossus, Beast staying at the X Mansion to continue to teach instead of dealing with politics
@@ignacio5039 I think is the opposite, the gun scene gives hints to Magneto's ending, his fear of being de-powered and being outsmarted and outplayed which ultimatly happens and that Jean will betray him. The cup scene however reflects more on the Dark Phoenix's nature, her desire and hunger for making chaos and the way she enjoys inflicting pain on others, it also shows that she's not on Magneto's or anyone else's side, but her own, plus looks way cooler and powerful
Rogue should have stayed and helped them fight out of all of them her power could have been used to stop The Phoenix before she got to the point of trying to kill everyone. I do agree however that this movie should have had her learn to control her ability not to simply give up and let the normal people cure her.
Los editores de la película hicieron un mal trabajo al eliminar algunas de estas escenas, la versión de Rogue aquí es cien mil veces mejor que la de la película
Yep and in Singer's Cut Cyclops and Professor X are still alive I raed that Cyke excessively trains the X-Men in the Danger Room they get to fight up against Sentinels, Rogue is shown using her powers properly like how we know and love in the comics, and there's a better adaptation of the Phoenix Saga storyline
Goodness, a lot of those scence had they'd been in would've made the movie less crappy, like the kiss between Kitty and Icemen, Rogue keeping her powers, Storm actually using more then just lightning.
Dude they left out the part of Magneto torturing Wolverine? That would've been a perfect reference to Magneto ripping out his skeleton like he did in the comics. Absolute fan service.
This was the government's biggest mistake, weaponizing the cure against mutants. This acted as a lightning rod for Magneto to attract supporters. It also showed humans can be just as racist and genocidal against mutants than other humans.
Also, call me controversial, but I think Rogue was right to take the cure :) Someone asked why she would give up her powers to have sex with boy. Why not?! Free and fearless physical contact with friends, family and lovers is worth more than the ability to kill someone by touching them. If she could learn to control her mutation it would be different story, but I don't think the writers ever gave her that option...
@AMVlurver I agree. It obviously has much more shock value with the guard dropping an f-bomb at someone who claims to be the president. And it's funnier.
@Cussnovsky If you ask me, I liked her relationship with Bobby in the movies, and I think it was a big mistake what they did with Rogue's character in the third film.
@Angel7Wing you`re right it would explain a lot of things... most viewers were frustrated that Magneto could have but didn`t use Jean in the battle. this way the story would have made sense..
estoy de acuerdo contigo, vi el vieo que me describió CaryErnst y se trata del fragmento en el que Jean grita telepáticamente a Logan, pareciendo que está llorando.
Studio cut many scenes lol I swear there are almost 40 mins of deleted scenes, so what if the movie would have been 2 hours and 30 or so mins thats how a blockbuster is supposed to be, big long and loud. If I pay $25.00 to see a big event movie once I want more than 90 mins
Totally agree about the powers and that it sucks big time to see her with Iceman. Rogue has actually over the course of the comics had plenty of chances to be "cured" from her powers and always decided no to do it.
I stopped liking this when juggernaut punch slapped wolverine and he moved just enough for it to look like a hollywood cowboy punch, that shit belongs on star trek not X men 3!!! fucking terrible movie, ruined the trilogy to the point we now NEED a 4th
jesus christ...why did they delete rough and that jean scene with magneto in the camp..............i hope disney make x-men more powerful than foxs did cuzz x-men is do damn powerful and what i like with the x-men is that they make a good paralell story with todays society. i have hope for x-men, but i hope to live to see it, cuzz my cancer is not saying goodbye :))
