Rogue should have kept her powers in the original film’s theatrical release. I mean, the end w/ Magneto shows the “cure” isn’t permanent anyways, but it’s symbolic to see Rogue accept her power.
At the very end when Logan returns to Canada and the Bartender asks him “ you heading home?” The tone Logan says “Something like that.” Kinda implies that Logan had actually regained his memory at that point.
Jean sensing a little girl crying…why did they delete that? There was always a spark of humanity left inside her, the Jean Grey we knew and loved. We needed scenes that showed that.
1:27 wtf they changed this scene?!!!!! 7:58 And instead of showing us this Rogue proud of her powers, they showed us what we saw in the theatrical version 8:32 A perfect post credit scene (deleted too)
7:58 Glad they changed. Doesn't make any sense at all keeping powers that aren't powers but just a damn curse. That's why X-Men is so good, they are people before being a justice league
@@flickrebeat8936 Storm would look overpowered in that deleted scene, imagine she alone can wipe out those enemies and theres no more fight left in the story. Another is that the focus is always at wolverine because he's the main guy and has an upcoming trilogy movie under x men
Why did they cut those Jean Grey scenes like those were perfect to keep in the main problem with the movie is that after she kills Charles we don’t get anything really of her until Logan kills her
This video doesn't include all the deleted scenes I remember watching a deleted scene where Logan buried his claws to the helmet of juggernaut at Jeans House battle scene, and Storm hits both of them with lightning. There's another alternate scene where Jean Grey demonstrated her true powers by disintegrating a cup and turning it to a baby star (camp scene)
Plot twist: Jean was turning everyone and everything into small Lego pieces because she didn't get to play with them when she was a kid and it haunts her.

I'm sorry but I'm going to take it as an insult that they deleted some of these. Hahaha no but these actually give Jean/Phoenix a lil bit more character. Cuz in the cut it just seems like she gives nothing for the last half of the movie.
I liked the extended fight between juggernaut and Wolverine because in the movie Logan seem very weekend against juggernaut but in that scene he defeated juggernaut with strategy showing that he may not be as powerful as juggernaut but he is a more skilled fighter.
Maybe it kinda flopped because of that same reason… film executives watered down one of the reasons X-Men are universally popular and timeless, the power showdown and the implicit violence and rawness, I mean the comics are quite graphic and in the final cut of this movie they made them suitable for 5 year olds :(
@@zahiedzamri3141 thanks for the hard spanking I needed kid. I now feel enlightened and life has more meaning than ever. I'm sorry I wasn't there for you and your Mom more, it's just that while ai was pursuing sex so much and she was handing blowjobs out like outdated Hershey kisses... Nah I'm just kidding, but hey I can tell you are still mad at someone who isn't me. I wrapped it up and have a good pullout game. Try being less judgy since you have no idea about the world yet. It's all about pain and still getting back up and not being a snotty lil prick about it. See. We all got things to learn. Especially comic book obsessed retard faggos. You are not one of those though...
I think that the scene with Rogue was changed because, like Magneto, she would have returned to her senses exactly, and so she had time to get closer to Bobby without harm to him.
*IKR!* I prefer the *Jean Grey character,* played by *Famke Janssen* better than the one from *DARK PHOENIX (2019)* A.K.A. *X-MEN: DARK PHOENIX (2019),* played by *Sophie Turner.* 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
@@JakeLlavoreSophie looks just weird on the part… like she doesn’t know how to portray the core values and strength of the character… Famke has everything balanced: values, personality, even sexiness. Sophie… nah. Just no. Something doesn’t allow me to reply to @neonraindrop8357 but I’ll say this: A cr3ep??? 🤣🤣🤣 I’m a h3t3ro woman, who’s the one actually cr3eping onto replies that aren’t even for you just to BLATANTLY th1rst and s1mp for Sophie turner’s “acting”? Touch grass urgently.
@@s0me0ne1se Just say that you like this version of her because the directors and creators went crazy with the special effects and made sure to show off how violent the Phoenix can be. All this nonsense you guys are pulling out of your rears about Sophie being a wooden actor or that she just didn't have the character down is straight bull. She pulled Jean's character off perfectly and is even gorgeous as her, it's up to you to expand your mind beyond one thing and enjoy both versions of something and appreciate both work of the actors. I'm not sure why we live in a world where everything has to be one thing or the other and as for sexiness ...you're just a freakin creep and I think your comment speaks for itself. I mean for crying out loud this version of Jean Grey literally did nothing but stand and stare for the entire movie and you guys are acting like it's award-winning. This actress is absolutely incredible and she understands Phoenix down to a T but Sophie's version of Jean Grey was much more human and easier to Empathize with. While we understood her mental struggles we can't tell if this version of Jean Grey hates or enjoys doing this to people.

Bratt Ratner did a fair job considering he and the writers were too much restricted to all the consistent changes to story and characters made by Bryan Singer. The movie tries really hard to cover a lot of events and characters at the same time. But after rewatching it a few months ago I realized that some elements make it far better than Apocalypse.
Everything is far better than that crap! And I’ll never forgive them for hiring oscar can’t act issac for that villain… I mean how tall is he for starters… 3 and a half feet???!!!
That extended Phoenix destruction scene was beautiful! Kudos to all the effects artists who worked so hard on it. I'm sure you were all gutted when it was deleted!
Imagine if they made plastic guns with glass bullets. The second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, and tenth scene were more likely instead extended/alternated scenes. I love the alternate ending Rogue Returns scene better than how we see it in the movie.
Not really, it's because Mystique can Literally Move Her Organs Around, apart of the Pheonix and every part lf Jean Wanted to Die, do yeah not really a plot hole, but The Two Versions of Of Sabertooth Definitely was
Mystique genes are very resilient. She's at least as old as magneto, it's suggested in one of the comic she may be decades older than the professor but clearly her body is not feeling the effects. Makes sense that while she cannot heal like wolverine she's probably harder than most to take down. Jean wanted to die.
I love Vinnie Jones so it's kind of like Keane as Constantine. Entertaining but that not John Constantine just like that is not juggernaut but I did enjoy watching him. I'm not old enough to record him as a footballer but he always makes me smile.
5:42, no wonder, all these years i wondered why it seemed like wolverine was facing a different direction, then all of a sudden he turned around in the next frame
Storm showing her powers off? Rogue choosing to accept herself? Bobby being promoted to mentor status? Colossus having more seconds of screen time? NO. BUT WHY?!
Mass production of plastic weapons made no sense, Magneto is not the only mutant they have to fight, a telekenetic mutant will have no trouble with plastic guns, various mutant will have no trouble dealing with an army that has weapons made of plastic
I can understand some of these being left out, but id like to know the exact reasons behind BEAST NECK, BOBBY PHAT, AND STORM WAVE being left out?! Maybe considered too violent/risque??
This trilogy had something against Storm and Cyclops ngl. They are so underutilized. And that Rogue scene, seriously why did they have to cut all of this?
