@@RumanJaman Marvel has what they call a "canon event". It is an event that has to happen and cannot be changed. Every time Cable tried to prevent the event, the forces of time pulled him back to his time
The fact that finding out her son was alive and well was the last thing she ever saw or knew.... this scene hits so unbelievably hard, one of the most powerful moments in comic book adaptations
It really bring tears to my eyes. When viewed in combination with Madelyne's premonition in episode 1 (Cable appearing as whispering sand in the wind...) this scene in the series is truly heartbreaking...
this is easily the best scene in the show to me, the vision, the eery music with no beat, the lighting, the cable reveal, it’s just so beautiful you truly FEEL the anxiety and confusion of the whole situation
People keep comparing this music to the rains of castamere. I've never seen GOT, but the moment i heard the music turn into choir, i knew tragedy was coming. 😢
@@davidcastillo6910 If you wanted to know the song is called Happy Nation by Ace of Base, it’s actually a really good song. I know it by the tik tok memes of it playing over government raids footage.
Cyclops lost his son, lost his original gf/wife, lost his new wife (her clone) in this attack, and lost Gambit and a ton of friends. He's going to go apeshit on humanity and Rogue is going to have his back.
It made me feel sad for Maddy cause you could tell she felt sorry for Gambit watching the love of his life going with someone else, like how Scott went with Jean instead of her. They both probably felt brushed off as inferior. (As if it wasn’t obvious I’m Team Maddy and Team Gambit rather than Jean or Magneto when it comes to Scott and Rogue’s love lives)
@@content_watcher_only We don't know it yet. Apocalypse was in possession of Fabien Cortez's body in the last season of the classic T XtAS. He had lost his Lazarus Chamber in the Celestial Vessel... I think that perhaps the reason why Maddie and Jean share that vision on the first episode is supposed to represent the moment the real Jean awakened in Sinister's lab. But not only that, DeMayo hinted that there was something else. Due to En Sabah Nur's connection with Psychics, perhaps he ALSO had awakened finally in possession of something close to his former self, using Cortez's body.
I rewatched the epipisodd where Cable goe back in time and he gets his coputer to tell him all aboutth x-men and after briefing cyclops he's like "yeah, I know about scott summers. And jean grey." and later you have jean scan his mind and sees this image of her and scott and cable with dna and she's like "no, it can't be!" telling cyclops that he's important to "our future, more than you can imagine.". Took them like 30 years to wrap that up!
Okay did anyone notice that when madelyn prior looks at the blood in her hand there is a shadow, and that shadow looks to be the he form of apocalypse or is that just me it just looks spot on too me.
tbh I'm a Little confused why didnt she read his mind and then send warning to everyone. But maybe she was too weak and confused herself after that 'psychic attack' and meeting her son
She had literal seconds before she was vaporized. The attack already started before then, we see a few explosions on the ground when Cable is looking around. She wouldn't have had any time to warn anyone even if she could read his mind
@sentry1996 Jean has penetrate Cable's mind defense multiple times. She was also the one who raised him and showed him how to use his telepathy and telekinesis until he met his wife who taught him how to master it.
@@Bigmojojoit wasn't saving her she literally got vaporized seconds after he was pulled back regardless if she got a message out or not everything was going to happen as it was
In the original when Cable's cube computer analyzed the X-Men he said that he knows enough about Cyclops and Jean. Then Jean reads Cable's mind saying that he's connected to her and Scott somehow.
It seems like this is an absolute point in time, like Christine's death in What If. It cannot be undone. That's why Cable said "I'm sorry, Mother". Because he couldn't save her, doesn't matter how many times he tried.
I always found the cliche bleeding from tbe nose and the person not caring much unrealistic, I always thought the person would be freaking out. Until you experience bleeding from the nose that way multiple times and you really don't care so it makes sense for me now.
You know what amazes me? The animated series does a better job explaining the origins and convoluted mess that is Madelyn pryor, cable and cyclops. Cyclops is not a deadbeat father.
This is like the opposite of Darth Vader. Where the character has two personalities. Vader is the adult alter ego, Anakin Skywalker is his real name. Cable is Nathan alias. It’s like a mystery clues. Lukes father is killed by Vader. Turns out Luke has a vision that he killed himself as Vader. The main character or hero is related to anti heroes. Luke is Anakin son. Scott is Nathan father.
I’m a bit confused if anyone can help explain, did I miss Cable showing up prior in this series? I am confused on how Madelyne knew his name, I get how she can recognize Nathan but “Cable”? I thought this was their first time meeting after they sent Nathan to a different and “better” universe to survive.
@@Ed_Games234if that's true then she would have instantly knew Cable was her son since Jean scanned his mind in the original show and found out about everything
@@SupportGamin2024 They also said the same thing about Gambit and the season finale hinted he's gonna be revived. Wouldn't surprise me if Madelyne is gonna be one of the Horsemen.
@@eddn-fn9zp I'm talking about the scene from XMen TAS where she read Cable's mind and knew he was related to Cyclops. [She also found out who Corsair was] It's only now that she knows who exactly Cable is.
@@eddn-fn9zphis eyes, and just putting 2 and 2 together. Dude with big brown eyes, is from the future, and related to Scott, and they sent their kid to future.
*Spoiler Alert* she may have read his mind and she looked at his eyes she recognized him from a baby he says I am sorry mom Cable has a techno virus Mr. Sinister gave him to make him invincible but Cyclops and Madeline stop the process Bishop took Cable to the future to save him when he was a baby Madeline and Cyclops didn't know if he survived.
@@LeWonderman in the original show Jean meet Cable and read his mind and found about everything. If Madeline has Jean's memories then she would know who Cable is.
