When I saw The Watcher I let out an audible 'oh no...' and then several heartbreaks later, I was absolutely destroyed. Best X-Men property ever outside of the comics - that's what this episode was. And the fact that the creator said that this was just a prelude to what's really going to happen? It reminded me of an interview with Tony Gilroy about Andor when Episode 6 (The Eye) dropped. And in interviews, he was rightfully getting praised for it and in one of those interviews he said something similar to Beau about how this was just a prelude to what was really going to happen (& then we got 'One Way Out.') We're being set up for that finale. I can't wait.

Watcher? Shadow? I was expecting more Storm, Forge, and demons, but we got blood and tears 😢 I love this episode. Lookup Callisto - the eye patch. They indicated she was a Morlock.

I dont have words to describe how incredible this episode was. I deliberately seek out media thats gonna mess me up because i enjoy being moved emotionally by the media i consume. I expected this show to go hard, but i didnt expect it to go THIS hard.

People don't realize Gambit was born an omega level, but in desperation he went to Sinister as a teen to help control it.

I think Jean's got some cheek, punishing Scott for basically expanding his heart to love all parts of her, right after she stuck her tongue down Logan's pie-hole. She miiight be projecting. Just discovered you. I really like your style of delivery. You're very easy to listen to, with charm to boot. You've got a new follower :)

What’s weird is I know more about Nate grey than Nathan summers. Age of apocalypse comic run informs most of my understanding of cable. Still say Linda Hamilton pretty much plays cable in the terminator universe and is a better live action character depiction than any X-men movie. The cartoon character is good so far.

I commented before Bobby, and after this episode I have no words for you. But I can Tell you a little about the 3 headed Sentinel. After his "Acts of Vengeance" failed, Loki created the Tri-Sentinel by magically merging three prototype Sentinels built by Shaw Industries to become the cornerstone for Project Nimrod, a secret government plan to destroy mutants. Loki reprogrammed the robot to attack a nuclear power plant nearby in order to kill thousands of people; however, Spider-Man used his newfound powers of Captain Universe to destroy it.

Between cable showing up and Madeline and Jean having those psychic attacks I’m hoping that this was just a projected vision or something cable can fix by going back into time

Nina Simone had a song describing the other woman. Whenever you see cyclops with someone being nice she’s an other woman.

At least Maddie finally got to be reunited with her baby before she was killed.

If Gambit hadn’t had Mister Sinister take out a piece of his Brain he’d be able to look at some and change it up and it’d explode plus he has some wicked powers when he’s the horseman of death for En Sabah Nur (Apocalypse). In the comics Gambit can run pretty fast, he can use ability to heal, create an invisible force field that protects him from telapaths and touch Rogue, and some other things.
