Believe me Rob. You are attracted to Her. That's Elle MacPherson, aka one of the Top Models on George Michael "FREEDOM" music video along with Naomi Campbell, aka the Dirty Girl Ross dates in her apartment full of trash that Monica wants to clean up.
Really started something there with the math joke, and it's funny to see how many took it seriously and did the math wrong because of it. I guess we can count that as an unintentional April Fools, lol
Film order: > X-Men > X-Men 2 > X-Men: The Last Stand > X-Men Origins: Wolverine > X-Men: First Class > The Wolverine > X-Men: Days of Future's Past (Rouge Cut Version Recommended) > Deadpool > X-Men: Apocalypse > Logan > Deadpool 2 > Dark Phoenix > The New Mutants > Deadpool 3 (coming soon) There are also two live action shows: > Legion > The Gifted MCU Connections: > WandaVision > Loki > Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness
Physical performance anyway. For the one line of dialogue he had in that movie, they dubbed his voice with someone else's. Though in this movie, when he speaks it is his voice.
@@HIPsteHeero …. Her acting talent is overrated. Just my opinion, of course. I don’t waste my time on any personal criticisms or tabloid gossip about her. I just don’t think she’s that great of an actor.
@@danieladams2544 it seems scientifically correct expression about a theory is thrown out when the evolutionism is questioned. With the risk of being disregarded, yes. I am what you would call a creationist. I believe in a living God named Jesus, who I've personally have experienced in such a way that denying His intent in creation is impossible.
@@davidbergfors6820it is correct. You need to look up the scientific definition of the word theory and not use the colloquial meaning. The theory of evolution is as close to fact as is possible to achieve with the scientific method. Are you from the USA?
You two already watch two X-Men movie witch are Deadpool 1 and 2. They my not be titled X-Men movie's but Deadpool is from the same universe as the X-Men are.
That being said they brought back the series and it’s called X men 97 and it absolutely slaps. Once your caught up more with marvel you should definitely check it out
He said he dipped in and out and didn’t really understand what was going on. Which would make sense. Many cartoons before did t really have strong arcs and you could just miss bits.
Plus as Rob pointed out, he was young and watched here and there. I could see where a young mind could get lost especially tuning in to the middle of a story. But that show WAS the best and the ones who grew up on it really got the appreciation for the movie in a totally different way. Plus when Gambit shows up in the movies he'll probably be less disappointing 😂 🤣 😂
Well this journey is going to be swell! Not saying it will be the best journey, but it will be massively enjoyable to watch with y'all. P.S. Hugh Jackman looks practically adorable in this movie compared to the beast he transforms himself into afterwards.
Guys, not absolutely mandatory to watch for Multiverse of Madness, but it will enhance the movie a bit. A new animated Xmen 97 is back on D+ which shows Disney and Marvel hasn’t forgotten them. With you all the way on the journey. P.S. There is a unconfirmed theory out there that Tiamut (dead Celestial in Eternals) was a source of adamantium. Guess we’ll see.
So excited to start this journey with you guys! I'm an 80's kid and my best friend loved comics and X-Men was his favorite. I'm visually impaired and couldn't read the words. He had a game with the characters and their abilities so I learned who the characters were that way and he filled me in on the storylines.
Nice. Very exciting. After Blade (1998) this was the first time us comic book nerds finally saw something that let everyone know that a good comic book movie could be made. I was even lucky enough to be on set for a few scenes, as they shot in in my are ( Hamilton, Ontario Canada). Great stuff. You're in for a treat.
Yessss finally😭The Xmen movies are fantastic just as fantastic as Hugh Jackman is in that role I always loved how political it is and how understandable Magneto is as the antagonist! So cool to see you go through these films🖤
7:07 All evolution is mutation Not all mutation is evolution ;) Stone mutations give you a different color eye, others give you a clump foot or make you die in the womb. (most of the time these are not genetically dominant and therefore don't spread to the rest of the human race by procreation) But your chocking /puke reflex is quite a new mutation that we can see as evolution, because it's also spreading to the newer generations and people without a puke/choke reflex are now the minority. But because we don't have survival of the fittest anymore and the dumbest people on the planet are procreating more than the actual smart people, means our evolutionary graph is flattening out and may even go down... (think "idiocracy")
19:01 Robb," I don't know if I'm attracted to her or scared of her, it's 50/50."😂😂😂 That is the ABSOLUTE CORRECT response to Mystique for the first time.😄💙
In the original Marvel comics, the X-Men exist right alongside all of the other Marvel super-heroes. It's just that when Marvel comics began selling off the movie rights, Fox purchased the X-Men (and the Fantastic Four while Sony got Spider-Man). But the X-Men's roots in the world of Marvel super-hero comics go right back almost to the beginning. Here's a fun fact: X-Men issue 1 and Avengers issue 1 were both published in the same month, with a cover date of September 1963. Imagine being a kid at the news stand that month and picking up a copy of both!
40,000 years ago hominids started marking symbols. Today, 2,000 generations or so later, we aren't capable of seeing a word we know without reading the letters, recognizing the word, and understanding the meaning in context. That's the speed of evolution.
To say mutation is evolution is only partly wrong. Mutation is a component of evolution. Mutation is the facilitator of change. And the changed versions of the species that are the most successful survive while other's eventually don't. That's generally the process that is evolution.
Lol it's sometimes frustrating to watch comic things with you guys because you ask such good questions and I want to answer them all for you or quide you. Wolverines skeleton makes no never mind on his abilitys it enhances him. He's true mutation is his healing factor (this is what was given to Deadpool) his strength and his almost anmial like nature, like His sence of smell. His claws are his, just enhanced again due to his "upgrade" you'll see in later movies. The only thing that they didn't get good for him in the movie is Jackman is perfect for the role, just too tall. He's a shorter stocky guy in the comics.
You might want to also watch the cartoon, X-men 97, in particular the new seasons. I'd watch them all lol, but the most relevant is what they have just released (another option is Patreon the older seasons?)
Its so wierd there are people who know nothing about the X Men!!! So many incorrect assumptions lol, I wish I was watching with you guys to explain lmao
Back when I was into comics, X-Men was my jam. In fact, for a few years pretty much the only comics I read were X-Men and related titles, like X-Factor, The New Mutants, X-Force, etc.
"Don't do the math", the math already happened in my head the moment you said it. I know plenty of people who have gone prematurely gray, but 27? No way am I 18 years older than you when I look younger than. :D
I myself will be forty in a couple of weeks, on the father's side all the men go bald and on the mother's side they turn gray. I'm waiting with fear for my own fate:D
oh, this is old. wait? you're a -97 guy? really? 2:47 Right, we start this one in a very happy place... 19:00 is she Attractive or scary? answer is "Yes".
The man who directed this film is an absolute monster but I'm glad you guys are finally getting around to the X-MEN franchise. Can't wait to see what you think about the post MCU era (after First Class).
guys. I second those expressions of excitement about starting this side of the Marvel world. also after you have some exposure. There are some other series to fill up like The Gifted and the movie The New Mutants. But that at this stage is too early. I hope you enjoy The X Universe👍👍
Captain America comic book shield is strong than the mcu shield and if captain America had the comic book shield in endgame thanos would've never been able to break it because the shield in the comics is made from a mix of Adamantium and Vibranium and wolverine is more based off the wolverine frog than a Actual wolverine because a wolverine from breaks it bones and the bone comes out the skin and look like claws and it uses it for defense against predators and when the wolverine from retracts the bone claw back in to the body it regenerates and heals it self
You guys will get the story on why he's Wolverine. Some things that really aren't spoilers, Sabertooth Wolverines brother. Logans real name is James. He's MUCH older than you would think. I believe he was born in the late 1700s.
Evolution is driven by mutation. Our dna mutates every time it replicates. accidental changes in the code, most changes don’t really matter but every now and then they result in a trait that be either good or bad, good mutation are naturally selected if they benefit the species and if organism arises with distinct enough changes from the ancestor it can be categorized as a new species
Wolverine in about 5'3 in the comics, so Hugh is way too tall. But his performance is iconic. He was actually the 2nd choice. Dugray Scott was originally cast but filming on Mission Impossible 2 ran long so they had to recast.
In fact, Russel Crowe was the first choice and he recommended Hugh Jackman for the role. Dougray Scott was hired for the role originally, you're right.
ROB ARE YOU TELLING ME WE’RE THE SAME AGE??? Sorry I just automatically did the math 😅 I honestly thought you’d be a few years older than myself haha.. but how fun! 🙈😂 Trin are you born the same year?? 🥰
For me, growing up, X-men was nothing but a comic book. The cartoon series was my daughter's favorite show. It seemed to keep aligned with the comics for the most part, and was enjoyable. Great make-up work on Mystique.
Rob was 3 in 2000?!? I was 6!! I had no idea i was older than Rob 😂 I love the XMEN. As a young gay kid, i was very attached to the story of the Civil Rights movement for Mutants. Storm is my all time favorite superhero in comics and on screen.
Adamantium is supposed to be one of the strongest metals in the Marvel Universe. In the comics Captain America's Shield is actually made by combining Adamantium and Vibranium making it unique. But since at the time the MCU was being made Fox owned the rights to the X-men so Adamantium could not be used in the MCU.
