The New Mutants wasn't much of a franchise finale, but 2014's X-Men Days of Future Past is a perfect showcase of just how high the Marvel X-Men movies can rise -- a great movie all around, with an Infinity War-like ensemble cast coming together for one story etc. But the thing that really stands out about Days of Future Past is its use of time travel. Back to the Future (1986)
High schooler Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) doesn't have the most pleasant of lives. Back to the Future cemented the box-office bankability of both Fox and the film's director, Robert Zemeckis, who went on to helm two equally exhilarating sequels.
