I don't know why they didn't address Guile by his name in Charlie's ending. It's obvious he's Charlie friends and we obviously know who Guile is after playing SF2.

Actually Gambit and Rogue weren’t together canonical during this era. I mean the broke up cuz she couldn’t handle the stress of killing him and not being able to touch him. Plus due to the infinite number of universes and reboots, she isn’t always with him. In one universe she is with Magneto. In the anime universe (Earth - 101001) she is single and she has barely much screen time. Plus Gambit doesn’t exist in the anime universe. And in What if Sinister Learned the Greatest Secrets of the Marvel Universe? (Earth-979) She flat out rejects Gambit after he betrayed the X-Men and was working for Mr. Sinister, which broke her heart and she hated him for that. Plus she ends up killing him in that comic. Keep in mind Earth-979 spawns from Earth-616. I guess the writer if that “What if” timeline must hate Gambit. Like many of the other Marvel fans. 😂
