What stands out most about this game is the attack speed for the time, combos and very creative power techniques ... What I personally adore about the hypers X in this game, is how fast they activate without the typical "pause" of a second as they did in the following capcom and marvel games in which they pause for a second to give a "power recharge" effect before running the hyper .... I don't know if what I mean is understandable ..
Hated the pause as it took away the Suprise attack at any time when the gauge was full. Caused players like Cyclops to be more deadly in future games as his Mega Optic blast wasn't punishable
The one that started it all and made the VS Possible. Truly criminal it's never had a home re-release. Modern Home consoles could have done arcade perfect of this ages ago.
SPIRAL imo would be sick for a new X Men movie.... so underrated, and so interesting. She also would be good to show how practical effects would make her justice.

Sentinel’s Plasma Storm in CotA is still the best in my opinion, wished they keep this version till Marvel vs Capcom 2 and 3 instead of just a close range ball Kikoshou strike.
I swear this is the reason I bought a Sega Saturn in 1996 lol...this and Die Hard Arcade...and every other subsequent Sega Arcade game 😁. Man I remember having such amazing fucking times playing this. As dumb as it was that there were like 10 different video game consoles (3DO, Turbo Graffix, CD-i, Jaguar, Neo Geo, SNES, Sega CD/32X [had them both!], Genesis, and of course Game Gear), I liked that there were just SO many different options. Man when I was a kid the economy was thriving now that I think about it. It’s too bad after 9/11 the world would never be same again. The world itself was such a better place before then that unless you were old enough to remember...you’d have no idea what an amazing place this used to be (the U.S. and world as a whole).
Acid, where was Wolverines other Super and Akumas Instant Hell Murder? Were those not in this game? I know it's been a while since I've played these (to the degree I wasn't aware Omega Red was in this). Man, I didn't think he came along till Marvel vs Street Fighter. >_>

Interesting that Magneto has a pink shield. They obviously drew it based on 1991 x-men issue 1, but there it was pink because it was dispersing cyclops optic blast that hit it. Was it unfinished feature, or just an oversight i wonder

Starting with the best Russian Hero man you should cover more X-MEN related stuff, adore X-men playing right now X-Legends 1 and 2 games some of the best and most underrated X-games truly recommend it to anyone who haven't play them
graphically and beautifully animated, this game was just too great for the time it came out and it still perfectly beautiful, also glad it had my sexy Psylocke in it among many other great heroes love X-men with all my heart
hey man how do u make the magneto hyper x move? i play this on my laptop and in order to activate a shield that lasts 1 second i have to click down forward backwards down forward backwards and then a punch, but thats hard enough to do in itself idk how the X hyper would be? x4? is there a way for me to edit the moves of magneto to make it a bit easier to activate the ability? keyboard is hard as fuck lol
YOU forgot that stage interactions is not considered a super move when it does not use Super meter. It's also NOT a Hyper X move. So no, i did not forget it. You just think it's a super when it's not.
@@johnsyers8212 It's a special move limited to a stage interaction like in "Injustice fighting game'. It has special command inputs and it does NOT require super meter. Therefore, it's a special move. It can only be done on the 2cnd lower level of Avalon.
If it wasn't for akuma being in this game as a secret character we would most likely never had gotten the vs series so be thankful for him being in it.
