The Carbon Cub has redefined expectations for backcountry aircraft.

Superior engineering results in the Carbon Cub having 50% fewer parts, and weighing more than 300 pounds less, than a similarly equipped Super Cub. I love the fact that they have the flying cowboys logo on the plane! Thanks for the review! In many areas of the PNW Wahington and Oregon you need an STOL Airplane! Thars my neck of the woods.

As for the view, and although it’s been many months since I last used XP11, I find all software planes share the same problem in that you can’t ever get “high enough” in the left seat. Just yesterday I flew a real Piper Cherokee. I have a long torso, and typically my head almost touches the ceiling in any airplane I fly, but in this case the view was fine. In an XP Cherokee, for example, I would prefer an additional 6-8 inches height, but the up arrow maxes out at an insufficient height. Perhaps I could alter a parameter in Plane Maker, but I am not smart enough to know which one. So this is all by way of suggesting that it isn’t Osamah’s fault, he isn’t vertically challenged, and the developers might need to reassess this factor. Fi’ih amaan il-Lah, ya ikhwat!

Great review. Beautiful aircraft. The only little thing I can see that I find a little off to my liking is the shine/reflection off the dash. Seems a little too glossy. Other than that it looks amazing from the video. And that was a great landing.

I don't know why you are knocking your skill on the AC it was flown very well & I imagine the landing is a function of the AC not you my friend & to all those who think I'm being obsequious I am not. Osamah is an excellent simmer always has been. Again this review is why I subscribe to this channel. We get new content new AC all the time by someone who's ethics and integrity are beyond reproach. I will buy this AC and normally I don't like these small aircraft but this looks like fun and at approx $35 its a good deal. I fly mostly GA but have FFA320 and a few others but I enjoy VFR and I'm not anal about hitting glide slopes ILS RNAV etc but it would be fun to get some Alaska & Canadian scenery and see what it can do. Thanks again for a great AC my friend take care

I would suggest slowing down for landing. As you heard, the stall horn came on right at the end of landing roll, you could have landed at 35 kts instead of 60!

Just got this, took it for a spin. I know they are new, but why don’t they have a website, and more importantly, no documentation in files, at least I can’t find any. I hope they continue to update it, needs some indication lights when engaging YD, AP, etc, besides just indicating on PFD. Overall fun plane to fly. Also more liveries, especially for 35.00.

Will there there be an option for avionics switch to gauges? It looks very unpractical to me to be unable to display your PFD when, especially in poor weather conditions.

TheFsxChannel201 I mean after they finished the A320 and released the 777. I think that they are doing to many things at the same time. NG Instruments for the 757 and 767. Helping Toliss with the A350. Updating the A320 and also making a B777. The NG instruments are almost done. And they said that the A350 will be in parallel development with the B777 wich might be the reason why updates take so long.

Interesting, I purchased and downloaded last night version 1.2, which states at the X Plane Store is the latest version, but my inside dash textures are not the same as in this video; my dash is missing the Blue Cabin Heat Pull Plug, upper right and is missing all the ON marking at the top of the dash. Interesting. X Plane states contact developer, XP gives no refunds. I questioned XP store because in the past I have had issues with the wrong versions being on the download link AFTER a purchase. XP states I am SOL, no refunds. Absurd for $35 bucks!! Nice video though, even after another download, same issue. I am using XP 11.36r2 since September 12, 2019. Highly unlikely its an XP issue.
