Just a tip, in case someone finds himself in the same situation as I was. If your XPLANE crashes when you select the SKI rain effect, be warned: it all goes south if your XP installation is in C root (like C:/XP11). Just move it somewhere else, c:/program files or D: or somewhere else and it should work.

I think they should make the effect on the whole aircraft too, you know the wings, engines, the aircraft itself etc. Example the wing that drops water and the wing is totally wet something like this would be insane

I dont know why they do not solve the problem with the "shape" of the windshield mark left by the wiper when moving the rain. librain developer should help them with that, cause on FF320 or other aircrafts its correct.

I hope they make weather radar more sensitive, also, I have key binds on my joystick or AP and stuff, but I always have to click the A/P disconnect alarm above the radar to remove the alarm. Is their a key in for it? Can’t find it.

I'm not sure, that's a good question. That's a very specific button. I believe their are plugins that let you map those things. Right now I also have to click it to stop the alarm.

Actually it's quite easy to fix. In the keybinds there are several AP Disconnect keybinds you can select and one of them is specific to the Zibo 737 I think and it's basically pressing the AP disconnect on the yoke while the one you have is probably pressing the disconnect from the MCP. If you bind the right one, then it'll be exactly like the real plane and you'll press once to disable the AP, and once more to silence the AP disconnect alarm.

If you have invested in fsx, dont try xplane.. i have a lot invested in prepar3d, i tried xplane and i cant go back to prepar3d now anymore. I just can't.

And for all I know from RU-vid that X plane outpowers outbeats supersedes the rest.. so let's see how soon I can save up after my real world commitments..

If I get a ryzen 3600x or 3700x will XP get much better fps than with my oc'd 3.8 Ryzen 1600? GTX 1070..

You will gain some frames. How many i'm not sure. But in the speed ranking the 3700x is 18th while the 1600x is 98th. Keep this in mind, the cpu i'm using in this video is a 4790k which ranks 69th in speed now. So the 3700 will probably run very nice with at 1070.

Michael Steinhagen I don’t play x-plane 11 but, in x-plane 10 it is very useful. It helps you locate your speed after landing, I think it’s in a setting in the main menu, I don’t know that much. If my info helps, just replay back! Thanks.

Tessedik Bence comes with, just has to be enabled in the tablet.

Vishnu Varier only other thing I can think of is, in the X-Plane settings (first page I think) there is a box to enable wind shield effects. It might be unchecked.

@@vishnuvarier1608 Yes graphic settings, and then look where it says Main Monitor. Below that you will see + Visuals Settings. Click the + and then you will see the "Allow windshield effects" box.

Yes lately that has been happening to me to. Light rain in the area and I get nothing. Might just be that we need to adjust the tilt of the scanning. I'll check it and see what I come up with.

Demetri Parker you have to set the baro knob to 200ft feet above the runway elevation. So if the runway elevation is 341 you set it to 541. It’s located above the map display.

@@propellerjfk Actually you have to set the baro/rad knob accordingly to the minimas on the Charts. But for easyness you can use 200ft above runway. In reality every Airport has for different runways and conditions different minimums

pretty sure they released a fix for the rain drops, as they were to big. They look even better in version 3.34. Great vid btw.

SKI doesn't work like that for me... doesn't even show rain on the plane.

DeepPoseidon in your xp11 settings you might have window effects off.

No that one just has the spotty rain drops.

@@TheFlightSimDeck you mean by default, or it happens when librain is dragged and dropped into it? Cause by default I have not seen any rain effect, not even a bad one
