Comparative video between the original game from 1999 and the XWAUP patch from 2020 - Video comparativo tra il gioco originale del 1999 e la patch XWAUP del 2020
@DTM MTD Industries A question if may I the game and the patch can be install in Win 10 or in older OS, I asked because I have a physical copy and I'd like to play the game again with your upgrades.
@@dtmmtdindustries5986 OK, So let me see if I understand, I already know that the physical release can't be install on Win10, I hoped that the updated could fix that, and neither I can't use the update patches on an OS like Xp or older Is that right? The only way to use both is with the digital release either GOG or Steam.
@@JavierBonilla78 This patch must be installed in a game that is already installed, so you must first fix the installation problem on a modern OS. My personal suggestion is to buy the game on Steam or Gog, because everything is simpler and costs very little. There is also the possibility of reusing old CDs, but it is a bit complicated. Use the actual installer of Blue Max special effects. Activate multicore function is an option in the installing sequency. With the next upcoming release it will be activated by default.
You're putting a lot of emphasis on the word "Simulator" for game that's not a simulation of anything. It's a simulation of a 5 year old waving his toys around making whooshing noises. It's as much of a space simulator as Skyrim is a simulator of living in the Middle Ages. Still like the game. The strategy guide was boss! Missile boats were the worst!
It is certainly not a flight simulator. I know them well and we agree on this ;) . It certainly isn't an arcade game, like Battlefront's space battles are. So what is it? It is a game that simulates the technicalities of an imaginary, unreal reality. So I'd call it a Star Wars simulator. A question of semantics ...
