I'd say with excluding SNES, if it can run video files, GENESIS, GBA, GBC and NES games well it's a decent handheld. With a decent video player, stereo speakers, save state feature and 7 inch display it may be worth it.

You know what I'd like to see is a bigger quality shell with a good screen where you could house the original PSP. I'm sure there are many PSP's with broken screens out there and I think it would be cool to have an actual PSP but with a bigger (6-7") and better screen.

2:54: Have a look at the PSVita and you will understand, why this has an extra On/Off switch. 😉 This thing copys the shape, button layout and even the button shapes.

the design is nice this time, they improved sound performance and menu a little and added button mapping for mega drive and dual speakers - 2024 they might have great analogsticks, better snes performance and maybe a decent screen, 2030 they will drop the shitty camera too 😆

This is the same Actions SOC and firmware that's being used in some other places. By the way what would be the cheapest 7 inch console which actually has an IPS ? I can probably try and hack the software but I don't want to do anything for a device that doesn't have an IPS display. Currently working to hack the Powkiddy J6 and I found some interesting things in the software. I know how the emulators are implemented and there's a configuration that tells the console what emulators it can use.

I bought two of these for like 30$ because I wanted to try some retro games and yea the screen sucks- some games are choppy BUT- You do get what you paid for which is honestly nostalgia from the games, so I don’t think it’s too bad 🙂

Its such a shame because I actually like some of the shells on these devices. If they would just use alternative software, even from the old Pap series so the games run well. Come on 8 and 16 bit runs on a potato these days....Thanks for the video wicked!

Hey, I'm hearing rumblings about a raspberry pi 4 switch clone.... Can't find it outside of making it, but it kinda should have been made already. A pi screen being flanked by 2 crappy controllers. Thing is sold for up to 120$ US on some sites, None of them have a manual, None of them share the same specs, Often it will claim wildly inaccurate specs and details (For instance that it can play PSX despite only having L1 and L2 buttons) or that it can play MP4 video (When in reality it only supports older formats like Realmedia, AVI, Xvid) if you pay more than 20-30 bucks for one of these, You got royally screwed.

Am still really hoping for some good 7" handhelds in 2021 but this is not one of them. Same old UI that they need to stop using. Same old rubbish recycled. Made for a price I know but really, not worth getting. … the wait for decent 7" handhelds continues….

Ok, so, do you think this handeld is better than a very old JXD S7800B ? It seems not. That's si strange that an old relatively cheap device like jxd s7800b has still not been beat technicaly by another chinese handheld productors , why don't they go on 150 euros market and product a good 7" handeld rétro gaming console ? Imagine a 7" Android handeld with a middle class mediatek proc, an ips full HD touch screen, décent controls...ho wait, take Xiaomi Redmi note composant and put it in a 7" retrohandeld , it would be ok for N64, Dreamcast, and a lot of Android games
