I was thinking the same and does the bing dong does it need to be plug in for it to work or can it be in plug and left with out chargeing it up to the usb plug
Thanks for the great instruction. What is missing is that how can we allow the application to pop up when someone rings as of now if the app is not open it will not ring. Second they should allow to open the camera without clicking on it
Thank you. For your first question; you can do that in your phone notification settings. Go to your phone notification settings, choose the app, and allow notification. Your second question; it doesn't support that.
If someone rings the bell, and I answer, so that i can see the person, but i don't speak, will the others perspn know that i have answered? Because, maybe I'd like to see who it is at my door, but don't want to talk to them, and don't want them to know i am home.
Ones you answer, the chime goes off, and your doorbell ringtone goes off. The visitor could sense that you have answered. Plus, there is this sound the doorbell makes when you pick up.
Two things, if you are a first-time user, you might have to go through the stress of binding it. If you have connected your doorbell to your phone before, it might be an Internet issue.
@@Connectedglobe I tried that, and now I can’t reconnect my Bluetooth to it. Actually, the step before the Bluetooth connection… press and hold doorbell button for ten seconds until you hear the “reset succeeded” prompt. Tried this several times and no prompt.
Go to your phone notification settings or app settings. Click on "X Smart Home" app and allow notification for the app. You have to do personalised app settings for it to work.
If it's not coming on, even after charging it, you might have to open it up. After unscrewing it, check the cables if they are connected. If it persists, you might have to change the battery.
@Connectedglobe thank you for getting back to me, the red light still isn't sawing even when it's connected to the charger.. how do you go about changing the battery? It literally hasn't turned on once since receiving it yesterday
Yes, follow the steps in this video. Ensure that your internet is working. Also, switch on your Bluetooth if you are connecting for the first time. More importantly, format the doorbell several times before reconnecting.
Mine didn’t come with a bracket. It came with a piece of tape to tape it to the wall, and I already have it on the outside of my door. The only thing I need to know and I config configurated it only thing I need to know is how to set up the camera for it.
I have tryed to reset the doorbell... And I keeps saying please bound... I had a gast account but I deleted the app... Reinstall it and now it keeps saying please rebound.. Even after several times resetting it.. Still don't work
I was also frustrated the first time I used it. That was why i made this video. Ensure that your Bluetooth is on. Also, the doorbell requires an Internet connection. Reset and try the process all again. If it fails, try it 3 to 4 times.
