Toccata Joaquin Rodrigo Xavier Jara, guitar Boston Guitarfest 2015 Fenway Center, Northeastern University; June 17, 2015 Video and audio production by Brian Dixon
Soy guitarrista aficionado y toco la guitarra desde hace más de 40 años. Ni siquiera sabía que se podía tocar una pieza tan difícil, con tanta emoción y precisión. No tengo palabras.
This is beautiful. Always a good deep strong sound. True, on the edge of the possible technically, but his mastery is such that we can forget it, and appreciate the music
Winner of the GFA International Concert Artist Competition for 2016. I was there! What a magnificent performance he gave in the finals, one could see and hear the passion he felt for the music. His career is launched, as well as it should be.
Can he rock? lol Was most impress with the even full breath and breadth he allowed the lower register. A deep release of the haunting interplay of overtones which imho were the genesis of this particular work.
Okay kid.. your skill borders on leprechaun magic!!! And the long pause at the end just confirming my suspicions! Ha! Wait a minute that wasn't a long pause, I accidently hit pause cuz I've had 4Yuwnlings... Of well, it was cool though... Think about it! It was right as you did that last Bartok pizz. and your arm was way out.... I thought you did it for effect.. It was cool! Lol
Im going to put my guitar down now... I don't know what the hell was wrong with me... I thought I could play ok.... but not after seeing that...Im best to use it for a coffee table or something... I give up.... :-)
