Texas fan here so probably a little biased but X-MAN is crisp on his short breaks whether it’s stutter and go, stop on a dime, or brake in or out. Dude dose not only have home run speed but he can stick a foot in the ground and break a route off with the best of em.

Facts. We saw it all year how reliable AD was. He’s also bigger, ran a 4.3 40, better hands, etc. For the combine as a whole, I think X showed he can be a threat on punt return and go routes with that speed, but AD checks all the boxes to be a day 1 impact guy

TY Hilton played between 175 and 180 I believe. And Devonta Smith for the Eagles is playing between that same range or a little lighter and is a damn good player. There are smaller guys in the League that are playing at a high level or have in the past. I'm going to be splitting hairs here, but he wasn't faster than Ross at any stage of the run except for the initial twitch off the line. We saw that in the simulcam. Now you might say that early acceleration is indeed part of the run, and that's true, but the one flaw of the 40 is that the clock starts on body movement, and not on forward motion. Ross is a foot behind by the 3 yard mark because if this. Obviously both were fantastic runs, but in order to get a better reading on who's truly moving faster over the 40 they should probably start the timing one yard into the run, just so that any random movements off the start don't interfere with the measurement of the 40. I just want to know who's faster, not who has the best track start.

@@mobomba6206 well for one Bob Hayes was a gold medalist in the Olympics weighting 185 and Worthy isn’t that fast. Not to mention that Worthy isn’t the type of WR that Devonta Smith is. Smith won the Heisman and people still questioned his weight. He was a WAY better prospect that Worthy bro

@@losangelescardinals this is why I don't comment because the IQ level of the average idiot... Not saying you're literally an idiot but come on my boy I made that comment based on you saying that a guy in the 4.2 range doesn't have a great track record for success and then you counter the argument by saying that he's not as fast as Bob Hayes...okay, that's exactly my point

PEOPLE ARE DOING IT AGAIN. FALLING IN LOVE WITH SOMEBODY BECAUCE HE IS FAST. YOU ARE NOT AL DAVIS, CALM DOWN. IF WE HAVE LEARNED ANYTHING IT THAT SPEED DOES NOT EQUAL GOOD HANDS OR ROUTE RUNNING (SEE ANTHONY SWARTZ 4.25).

Every year, some dude is the "new fastest guy in the NFL". Every year Tyreek clocks 7 out of 10 highest MPH reached on the field. None of these dudes can top 23 MPH in pads at money time.

@@ctaylor8003 Show me where DK reached higher speed than Tyreek on a football field. You can't. Only his teammates, Waddle and Mostert, and Chase Brown of the Bengals got near Hill's top speed. This is football, if you can't run top speed in pads then your track speed is useless

@@maceomaceo11 DK was clocked at 22.6 mph while Tyreeks top speed ever clocked was 21.66 mph. DK is objectively faster than Tyreek. And I'm talking about in-game. Edit. Apparently Tyreek hit 23 mph as a rookie but that was 8 years ago. DK clocked almost 23 this last season.
