Xbox 360 Controller Not Working - Can I Fix It?

In this video, I have got an Xbox 360 Controller that is not working. One of the battery terminals is missing and there is a build-up of rush in and around the motherboard. This is the first time I have worked on one of these controllers so let's see if I can fix it.

Beautiful job bringing something broken back to life. I love fixing up and repairing stuff that has been cast aside. Great video, but the OCD part of me would have wanted to replace that bent terminal haha

Thanks for the feedback and I am very glad you enjoyed the video. I totally get where you are coming from, my OCD wanted to change the other terminal but it was such a pain to get the rusted one out, I decided if it isn't broken then leave it alone. 😂

Omg the same problem happened to me and i suffered to fix it again i used a aluminium paper and turn it around the batery spring it did the job but i need to always redo it when changing batteries thank you for the tip ill try to fix it later have a good day

@@senseiff5401 Very good eye 🧐Now I remember, I did the testing without the rumble being fitted. Rest assured I did fully restore the controller. I actually made a clean-down video using this controller. 😀

I opened up cleaned one up inpsired by you. But it doesn't sync to the console and anther controll does though. Any recommendations? It comes on flashes and doesnt sync to the concole. Followed your video on how to open clean, etc. lol.
