Xbox 360 RGH 3.0 (Chipless Mod)On A Corona 4gb motherboard 

Those are great consoles .If I had to pick 3 it would be snes ,og xbox and xbox 360 . Ps1 is a must for me as well lol

Today I went to do RGH3 read the nand and it went halfway through the read and then it failed saying that the two dumps do not match all my wiring is correct and I was using a pico flash. I made sure every side of joint is perfect and not touching anything. My Xbox 360 slim is a corona version two which does not require a post adapter.

I miss the 360 days as well. I have recently got back into it and have been playing halo 3 via halo sunrise severs pretty fun . Take me right back in time lol

I had hundreds of 360's bought them in "Lots of broken consoles". JTAG & RGH & Reflowed, controller mods, Leds. I just loved it, such a wonderful time I had. I have been researching and I think 3.0 may be making a slight comeback. I just miss it. That Pi Pico tool is cool. I still have Nand X etc.

It's safer to use the resistor to protect your cpu . It's not necessary but there super cheap so I would recommend using them . Thank you

I would take it apart and look at the wiring for the x360acev3 chip . Look for broken or faulty wiring .With the lines across the screen makes me think gpu issues or overheating of the gpu maybe new thermal paste. It's hard to say but that's what I would start with.

Flash the original retail Nand back on it and undo the power wire from the chip and boot it. I bet it will E74 or RROD.

Bad solder points. Had the same with another xbox...

It may be bad thermal conductivity. The factory thermal compound is garbage. Might need to be delidded and new thermal compound.

Yes you can . I only did that because you have to disconnect the 4gb sd card tool and than hook it back up . You will just have to remove it and solder it back up

Think of the 4gb usb tool as a sd card reader that you attach the wires directly to .It works the same way as the sd card method and reduces the margin of possible errors.The firmware is the operating system of the Xbox 360 .Thats what your trying to dump ,than decrypt it with the cpu key ,modify it and than upload it back .As far as the hard drive it maybe dead .You can try to hook it up to you computer and format it with windows and if that works put it back in the xbox and format it with tthe xbox .Hard drives for the xbox a pretty cheap these day if that doesn't work .thanks for watching

Sorry never ran into that problem before . I would check all connections . Hopefully someone will comment with some help for you .

Usually if it doesn't boot it means one of two things: A. Your wiring is bad, and you'll need to check your solder joints. B. One time I made the mistake of not building an RGH 3 image, which can also prevent your console from booting xell. If it's neither of those, your console could also be dead.

A lot of the post fix adapters on the market are cheap and don't work very well. You might need to bend it down and try to get it to make contact

Try a different usb cable also check the orientation of the plug to the xbox header?

If the post via is pulled and you can't get a wire soldered to it .than you can do this mod it is required. Sorry I thought you were talking about the adapters thanks for watching

POST? Well, It's possible to solder to POST on the top of the motherboard if the bottom point is damage. You can also clamp a postfix adapter on the side of the CPU. If you are taling about PLL, then it is impossible to fix on the S/E. You need to use S-RGH or Mufas if PLL is damaged on S/E.

You would have to identify your motherboard version . Lots of pics and info on Google to do so. if it's a corona 4 gb it should work . One other thing you would have to check is if you need a post fix adapter which I went over in the video . Thanks for watching

​@Warranty-Voided i have a cornona v1 or v2 but it has post traces but DB3R3 n DB3R4 I Do not see those traces where they should be. My pinouts are not looking like yours. I see DB3R1 DB3R2 DB3R6 DB3R7 But not R3 R4 or even R5 wth. Its killing me right now

​@@Warranty-VoidedTo be honest it look like a trinity board with the desolder of the 4gb mu port. The 6 pin traces are there like there was 1 there but some1 desolder it off.

@@theghettotraveler347 the power suppy for your xbox can help identify your motherboard too . If your not finding these solder pads on the silkscreen you probably don't have the right motherboard .

This motherboard doesn't need the postfix adapter . I show in the video how to tell if it's need or not . It does work watch the end of the video I show it working lol

It allows you to play backups and homebrew. And yes you can still play online .I did this so I could run the halo sunrise project

If this is a 4gb model its probably not going to read with the pico . I originally tried with the pico and tripple checked all my connections and I could never get it to read .I suggest you check to make sure all your connections and if you still can't get it the read . Try the tool I used in the video . It's easy to use and worked like a charm . Thanks for watching

Pico is supposed to support the 4gb nand but if you read the forms barley anybody can get it to read.

@@Warranty-Voided I already changed the wires of different materials and it still didn't work.. and I redid all the connections several times and it didn't work :^(

I tried for 3 weeks trying to get the pico to works . Evan bought the pre-made wire set for it . I wouldn't waste anymore time on it . Just get the tool I used in the video .

​@@Warranty-VoidedI managed to read the nand through RaspPico.. I changed the USB port and removed the mouse and it magically worked.. I just have another problem! I recorded glitch2m because my card is Corona V6 but the xell appears.. Can you help me ?

That would be nice but I don't think we will ever see one . You can buy modded system for not too much these days .
