Xbox Account Scammer SCAMS Me. Hooray! That was the goal but it didn't go as I expected. After all, he only scammed me for $3. Can't complain. It's not about the money, it's the principle of it all...
I decided to go on Xbox Looking for Groups and do a little social experiment. There are a lot of Xbox Scammers on Xbox LFG (Looking for Groups). So I decided to pose as a single dad on Xbox, pretending to be struggling with bills but willing to pay for an Xbox Account to make their child happy. Would the Xbox Scammer have a change of heart? Or would they disregard that and go on to scam an innocent person, regardless of the circumstances. Xbox Scammers simply have no remorse or any morality.
The first guy who was selling an Xbox Account was charging $3 for it. That's a red flag from the start, but that didn't stop me. I sent the Xbox Scammer a payment of $3. He sent me the email and password to the Xbox Account; however, after failing to sign into it the account on my Xbox console, I attempted to log into it on my PC. Apparently, the Xbox Account's password changed and the account was locked. I reached out to the Xbox Scammer and he blocked me. Outstanding move! In my opinion, the better option is to just pretend that you care and trying to help, even though that wouldn't do much.
The other gentleman who was selling an Xbox Account was charging $25. That's actually a good sign right from the start. It may sound weird, but the more expensive the account is, the more legitimate the sale is. Legitimate sellers on Xbox need to make money from their work. Xbox Scammers just take shortcuts and try attracting more victims by charging $3-$5. I was given the account but I don't play GTA and I won't be using that Xbox account, so I'm giving it away to someone.
