My Xbox series x is hooked up to a mid range integrated two channel Amp using a small independent power block, and two infinity loudspeakers and two subs,I have been using that setup for awhile and I absolutely love the way my games and media sound
Even I had noticed for a while that there is this limit regarding the HDMI splitter and the Capture Card of Elgato. By doing live streaming there are some things like the game chat audio that is not captured. I'm still looking for an HDMI 2.1 splitter... which is why I'm only using the headset to play games or listen to music.
Hey thanks for a preview! looking forward to this update since i have 5.1 hooked to my guest xbox one (i use turtle beach x700 on my XsX) and this option will most likely boost the audio quality on my second setup and maybe get me back to comfy couch and big tv instead of desk and monitor, which i've been occupying for last 2 years
Thanks for the video. My xbox is connected to my receiver with optic. I only see dolby digital and dts surround as an option...but which one should I pick?
I only have the Xbox wireless headset because I'm too lazy and cheap to get a dedicated speaker system for my Xbox (which is on my desk next to my PC).
I don't unstand why someone does a vid like this tbh without a full audio set up with atmos and dts x to test and show :/ I have the series x, lg nano90 series and the sony ht-a7000. You should be aware that for some strange reason when testing atmos or dts x it out puts sound from rear speakers when testing the up firing drivers. Not sure if it's a glitch or a firmware fault
I make the videos to show people what's out there and what is coming. Also provides a space for people like you who have a set up and can test to come and share your experience (thank you!). The video shows people everything they need to do in order to do that. Even if I had an amazing set up where I could test everything there are still thousands of combinations and technologies out there that wouldn't be in the video. I'm doing what I can do.🙂
I've been having a really annoying audio bug ever since September ish, where I just can't change my audio to anything other than "Stereo Uncompressed" with headphones plugged in, I used to use 7.1 uncompressed as it was the best for audio in games I played, but now every time I try it just defaults itself and changes back to "Stereo Uncompressed", I've noticed a few forums of people also having this problem but can't seem to find a solution, any thoughts?
No did it balls it's still there. I had to get the sony ht-a7000 soundbar to connect direct to that and it's spot on but currently doesn't support vrr only 120hz so hoping the firmware update isn't to long away as its now been released for brivia oleds etc
