I lost track after of the series after 2, but 3 seems to pick up nicely and make slight improvments. The crazy hop is a nice extra, the controls are pretty tight and it's just as fun as it ever was.
I go through the crazy box type mode, not really aiming for any great results, before just trying out each of the cities. I mistakenly used other methods of transports over the cabs which had much worse controls.

I am so glad you didn't mute the music in this game. IMO, the Crazy Taxi series is one of the rare video game franchises (Tony Hawk and Gran Turismo also deserve to be on that list) where the licensed music soundtrack is much a part of the game as the gameplay itself!

Had absolutely no idea there was a third one. I remember being absolutely pumped when I found out Crazy Taxi was released for the PS2 after loving in the arcades.

The Offspring!! I never played the 3rd game but the first one was the best! My first PS2 game purchased with the console!! Great arcade racing game, very unique, SEGA never disappoints!

I remember when I last played it many years ago, I couldn't get past one of the last three Crazy X stages, and it was driving me crazy.

I remember seeing a hacked XBE file of this game to use on a modded XBOX that removed that GOD AWFUL blur effect. I think it brings the FPS up by like 15-20 as well. Only thing I hated about CT3.

It's sad how fast Sega ruined this franchise. Three games in three years, with 2 being exclusive to Dreamcast and 3 being exclusive to Xbox. Demented.
