big thanks to Billy/baw for showing everybody how to resign apps. Showing off a handful of uwp apps from the xbox dev mode repo that were resigned to run in retail mode on an exploited xbox. Please visit the xbox scene discord for support on how to do this, I'm only a user of the exploit myself.
sadly emulators are blocked on the firmware level and there will have to something coded/scripted to unblock them. that's why my dolphin wouldn't work. I tried to rename dolphin but it still didn't work.

Hopefully there will be a way to rgh it as if theres a way to add the kernel exploit into a port on the motherboard (sort of like the 360) then you could possibly flash the console and find the point to when you can insert unsigned code but itll be alot of work to find it

Its cool but i dont really get why you would want to do this its just free dev mode with the downside of not being able to go online. Hopefully more comes out of this and is more than just free dev mode.

Basically but you can also dump games with the vermintide 2 exploit after running the gs exploit. This is pretty difficult though and I haven't successfully pulled it off yet, mainly because it can corrupt the game you're dumping, corrupt vermintide 2, or you need to expand the partition on the hdd to make the game that you're dumping fit (due to how the dumping exploit relies on swapping the vermintide 2 disk image with the game you're dumping).

Dev mode is a little overrated because we can play emulators on PC. The Xbox 360 online store is being shutdown so one day the same will happen to the Xbox one meaning no dev mode and no apps. When Xbox one and series x is considered retro, it would be good to have emulators for these systems in the future. We only have emulators for dev mode because previous consoles have been exploited.

I have plex and emby in my series s and series x. Didn't feel like installing them to this one s before taking it offline. There were only 4-5 days to grab everything on firmware 4478.

Don't know but i put a 1fichier link in the description. Read the .txts for instructions in the zip.

Ok actually the readme files are .md files (markdown). If nobody was going to make a tutorial then i could but KsamJ also knows how to do this, and he's going to make a tutorial soon.

Follow the instructions in the 1fichier download, read both .md files. You will have to use the run.exe from the 1fichier download, replace the one in your exploit foldet with that. Then follow the resign instructions.

Youll need the dotnet binary for x86_64 on a usb drive, put it all in the folder on the root of the usb namrd "dotnet". Also maybe join the xbox scene discord

If you have online then you can install it from the store. Otherwise theres no way to sideload it or install it while offline, wish there was cause my adv file explorers (full trust) are broken.

@@robbyjvc Mine is offline nowadays. Can we grab a license file and put under clips folder? There's a guy on youtube who made an "alternative" adv file, but didn't share his solution or file to download

That won't fix the issue I'm having, but maybe if you've downloaded in the past on the console, cause licenses are console specific.

I dont think ksamj is keeping adv full trust to themselves. If you dont already have it, they cant give it to you. Also so far nobody in the xbox scene discord has brought up a way to side load apps with full trust permissions, i bet ksamj would share this if they knew

This is the 4th time this has happened why is everyone all of a sudden so happy? It's basically developers mode for free.. wow it works in a offline retail mode now that's cool for developers and not anyone else not to mention Xbox one games aren't being made anymore

You can also dump games with these exploits and obtain the raw files for the games. Don't think that was ever possible before.

@@robbyjvc that might be something worth seeing tbh but even then executable are encrypted and signed and the kernel is also encrypted to an extent and signed this isn't a hypervisor exploit so the chances of running a actual game are 0 also is it possible to use a modded game...? No... Lmao.......... How would you mount the game and launch it with the hypervisor watching? Lmaoo

@IcyModz420v2 not yet but there are some practical uses. xbox backward compat titles contain the updated xefu og xbox emulator for xbox 360. You can dump these files and use them on a hacked xbox 360 for greater og xbox compatibility.

@@robbyjvc that's great but the modded files already allow every xbe to run and even unsigned original Xbox code also xefu will need to be patched and released for use on an RGH for unsigned code so actually as of now that emulator cuts compatibility by over half only a hundred or so games are even supported lol

Hopefully the consolemodswiki owner puts up a guide for it soon, they said it fixed the double vision issue with Kung fu fury. I dumped a xbone x360 back compat game , extracted it from it's SVOD container and played it on my rgh 360, so maybe it would work without resigning? My 360 is also running rgloader so dev kernel, might make a difference? Someone in the xbox scene discord said the xex are signed for development kits, do you know if a freeboot/non dev kernel rgh system run those?

Yes but only if they're signed by microsoft and are x86_64. To dump games or mount saves you actually use the Dotnet dinary for pc on your xbox to run the scripts that prepare the dump, or mount gaves. also according to the xbox scene discord, Java and powershell 7 may work.

Visual c++ exes will run only if signed by Microsoft. No gui programs will work, only text console programs, for e.x the minecraft server runs but it doesnt work correctly so you cant connect.

Not possible to sideload games. Only apps with this exploit. Would be cool to backup my own games and play them though, or play delisted demos

Download it from the 1fichier link in the description. It was put together by tux user, whos a part of the xbox one research team. In there read the .txt file for resigning appxs.

To my limited understanding, with xbox one the os the game runs in is packaged per game. If the game uses era os, then yes you can dump it. If the game uses the gdk, then you can mount it but not dump it.
