I love how fanboys dislike even Pete's videos, just because he talks about XboxOne. I guess that in 2013 you're not allowed to enjoy non-sony consoles....

Seeing this video in 2022 always reminds me of the live episode from the All Gen Gamers podcast, which was released about the same time. Hearing Pete, Gamester81 and MetalJesusRocks talking about and discussing the new consoles was awesome. And at the end of the episode Pete talked about his Skylanders hype, that part was hilarious. This AGG episode is still on my phone and I listing to it from time to time, great memories! I can’t believe it’s been almost 10 years…

Pete you are a true gamer's gamer. You're one of the few people basing your opinion on the actual games rather than the features or how the systems are being advertised. Just because PS4 is being marketed as a more "pure" gaming machine doesn't change the fact that it has inferior games atm and likely will until late next year and that's coming from someone who's favorite IPs are playstation exclusives.

Why so many dislikes? What did he do wrong? I THINK IT'S FUNNY THAT PEOPLE KEEP THINKING SONY IS FOR THE GAMER WHEN MS SPENT MORE MONEY THAN ANYONE IN NEW IP GAMES FOR X1, YES IT HAS TV AND SNAPPING, BUT IT'S STILL A GAMING MACHINE. PETE HIMSELF ONLY DID GAMING ON IT AND ENJOYED IT. Stop falling for marketing crap and get the console that has your favorite games. Both are equally as good in gaming, X1 just has more features that you don't don't even have to use.

Just subscribed to your channel and it's so refreshing to watch a non negative video for the Xbox One's first impression. So glad your enjoying the system at it's early stage, I'm sure your enjoying the machine a lot more now with it being a year later with its monthly updates.

Lol seeing all your N64 games reminds me of the N64 rumble pack, the brick extension to an already weird controller. Awesome collection!

Great video Pete, I feel the exact same way about my Xbox One, PS4 just hasn't given us the exclusives to play the system much right now, I haven't turned mine (PS4) on in about 3 weeks now. Microsoft had a great strategy with their next gen system and releasing a ton of great system exclusives on launch. Its really paying off for them right now.

Id have to agree with the ps4 launch lineup. The weak lineup is why I still don't have a ps4. I know the games will come but until they do Ill wait.

I'm just going to stick to the WiiU, 3DS and retro and then in a year I'll make my decision on whether to buy the PS4 or Xbox One based on their libraries.
