Personally I love both, they both have great graphics but there are still some flaws. Example the fact that you can't change the graphics on the games' settings which means you can't get more FPS that you can actually get and the input delay is pretty bad on both consoles and some games have cross platform compatibility which means you can play against PC players and they have an advantage over you since they get less input delay. The benefits are that you get pretty good graphics and FPS for the price, it's cheaper than a gaming PC, and it consumes less power than a gaming PC. You don't have to hate on the XBOX just because you have the PlayStation and you don't have to hate on the PlayStation just because you have the XBOX, they are pretty much the same console just with some minor differences.

It all comes down to the games and we know who wins that.

Ps4 will forever be remembered In history of Gaming console (just like ps2, the most sold console till date) PlayStation had their greatest game releases during this era. Yeah I also understand how things went bit down due to pay for online gaming. But looking on good sides, without backward compatibility also it Outshines xbox with the huge gaming library and exclusive. Ps also has vr support and motion control ( umm for motion control not sure it support ps4 Or not coz I don't have a motion controller) I doubt myself being able to play 25% of all the ps4 games even after ps5 released .

I think that both consoles are great, i have an xbox one x and it is amazing, i would buy have buyed an ps4 pro too, but it wasn't for me. I buyed an xbox one because i liked the games, especially Forza Horizon & Motorsport. So make the choice that suits you.

I think all Xbox players should watch this video, I have had more years of experience in Xbox one than PS4, and prefer PS4 so much. Most Xbox players I know have never played on a PS4 and still act as though Xbox one is far better, an example is my brother, it really annoys me. Although I don’t like WatchMojo that much, this video is very good.

Sony absolutely wrecked Microsoft this generation. But let's see how they screw it up with the PS5. If you look at it historically, console companies do well and then get stupid or greedy and lose it the next generation. Nintendo killed it with the Snes but got greedy and accidentally influenced the creation of the Playstation. They also got too in their way and went from the extreamly popular Wii to the Wii U. Xbox 360 was the killer console and we all know how much they royally screwed up the launch of the Xbone and how cocky they were. And Sony won the PS2 generation in a landslide but their hubris lead them to making some really bad decisions for the PS3 launch. So I hope the PS5 is just the PS4 but with better tech and maybe some cool added features that don't detract from the player's experience

The games I enjoyed the most this gen were actually on PlayStation. I didn’t have a great time with the one x. Even the games that looked the best on that console did not give me the best game experiences. RD2 looked amazing once I got the hdr settings how I wanted them but the character moved slow and sluggish. It felt less like a video game than most. Controls were not as responsive as I would of liked. In the quest for realism some fun was sacrificed. The game was a detailed, immersive game but I wouldn’t say it was necessarily fun. I was invested in the story but pushed on to the see the rest of it play out.What is fun about virtual fishing or hunting? Those parts of the game were tedious. AC3 remastered also looked good but was a fucking nightmare to play with the worse AI and mechanics, from enemies spawning in your path just to kill you off and end your game, to men always being faster then you and jabbing you in the back with muskets. I played those games, AC3, in particular just to get through them and get them over with, both dragged and had a lot of filler. Like the island in RD2 and most of AC3. AC3 has the worse frame rate I’ve seen in a game this gen and the game frequently crashed my one x. The games I had a better time with this gen were on PS4 pro. HZD, I probably replayed as much as 5 times, I also had a blast with games like GOW,Ghost of Tushima,Spider-Man,Ratchet and clank even TLOU2 . The game I probably enjoyed most on the one x was mafia 3. All the other games I played on it just looked good but weren’t much fun to play.

You know what both of them are pretty much equal, because if I play on a xbox one or on a ps4 I don't see much of a difference between them they basically feel the same so I think there is no competition between these two consoles unless till they feel different
