I have tried the Series S in a friends house but I will still go for the Series X since it got a disc drive and ofc higher performance than a Series S XD

Series S gets a lot of hate but you can get one for like $249 now. That is not bad at all for entry level gaming. A friend of mine hasnt really bought a game system since the 360. He bought the Series S and loves the hell out of it. I play on my X with dude all the time...

Exactly my point! That’s the same case with me where I don’t wanna spend400+ on something I won’t be playing often. Series S is a good substitute

I bought the Xbox Series S In march of this year, and In November I bought the PS5. If you are looking for a console that can play 4k games, have at least 500+ Gigabytes of Storage and you have a 4K TV, Go for the PS5 or Series X. You will regret buying the Series S if you think the following above.

I already have a ps5, I love physical media but I already own a lot of games on the ps5, plus I still have my OG xbox and 360 if I ever wanna go back, all I want is to play starfield and finding one of these used for 200 is a great buy

Well my pc went in for repair for cpu red light and this xbox saved my life from boredom till its complete so i would say its a good back up lol

Budget friendly no doubt about that but for me I need the cream of the crop when it comes to anything electronics. I would say if you aren’t that tight on a budget I would highly highly suggest forking up the remaining $200 and getting the Series X. Nevertheless good video!

I have a PS5 but just bought the new series s with the 1TB hardrive and it’s a great little console. Especially with a 4K tv. Some great games going very cheap on the Xbox store.

I've had both the series s & x and to be totally honest the series x looks fantastic on paper & all but the series s just has that sentimental value. It was the console that had me & my wife gaming for hours, without the results of 4k gaming, but satisfied with how the console played overall.

@mrlpkay Exactly, dont get me wrong, I do plan on getting a PC but not looking to spend 2-3k on one. I'm ok with 1080p & 1440p gaming, they're not deal breakers 😎

I have xbox, ps5 & pc. I really like the power on the xbox but I wish the controller was nicer like the dualsense controller

I’ve heard a few ps5 users say this and it is true. The dual sense controller is a lot more functional & the design is way better. However I think that’s where the price comes in and makes the series s controller not too bad for its price! Thanks for commenting!

Elite series 2 is much better than the dualsense. You pay 200+ for plastic to have a not adjustible controller.

@@itza_me_woho2808 I'd prefer a dualsense edge controller over my elite series 2. I've gotten stick drift on the ES2 and it's made fps games borderline unplayable. I'd lose 2 back buttons with the DSE but I like the hot-swappable thumbstick modules and the 2 dome thumbsticks it gets rather than 1 on the ES2

Can it get any cheaper in workmanship? No disc drive no real HDD no extra ports what a piece of garbage even the Xbox one s has way more workmanship put into it

@@mrlpkay yes it’s less than $300.00 because it’s far more cheaper made no disc drive no hdd no extra media ports and hardly any workmanship so if you want to watch a dvd movie nope can’t do that. Want to watch a Blu ray movie nope can’t do that. Want to play a physical Xbox game nope can’t do that. we all get what we pay for.

@@MichaelJPerkins I get what you mean totally but if it compensates in the price I guess it means that it’s just for THAT type of user? E.g I bought it because I do none of what you mention and only play a few games here and there so it’s perfect for me also really small
