オリンピックで、この二人の存在を知った。メダル獲得の瞬間の二人が印象的で、過去のいろんなインタビューを見てるときに2018年の全英オープンで世界ランク48位ながら優勝したことを知って、全編公開してるこの動画に行き着いた。勝つことがわかっていても本当に勝てるかどうかわからないくらいの接戦。いい試合だった

IMO, Japan is playing like MD and also they look like 2 Sukamuljo on XD with those fast skills. Arisa makes me want to jumpsmash right now. Very exciting to watch

That is their advantage as when you see XD matches the male and the female would normally have a clear height difference but they can play whatever they like as their both around the same height so they can play like MD or XD but because MD is obviously stronger than XD most of the time they play like MD just because they know they can lose in XD so they play like MD to stand a chance

I watched this match in 2018 and i thought japanese pair had lucky won... however after i saw Watanabe in late 2019 and all england 2020, he is one of the greatest double players right now aside of kevin sanjaya... Arisa is very good also, but watanabe is monster today

What an exciting match! My heart was dropping like Watanabe's drop shots. OMG. Congratulations to the Japanese pair - what a bright future awaits them; they're the true giant slayers of this tournament / check how many seeded pairs they beat on the way here. And kudos also to the Chinese pair who put up a good fight for a truly heart-thumping match.

holy shit, this is a rare performance by an unseeded pair to win the all england open. Most winners are seeded. But they manage to beat all the odd, defeated 3 pairs of seeded players to win. Amazing.

This Japanese guy Watanabe is so good, the best drop shot w great control I've seen thus far, as a pair they have a bright future, if there's any weakness, it's about the Japanese girl's defense, the reign of China's XD domination is in danger

Zheng Siwei always aim his smash shot to Japanese female player (Higashino). It's quite different with Watanbe. His smash always aimed to Siwei. What a gentle guy.

u r wrong. take a look at around 9:40. zheng aimed at watanabe and watanabe aimed at huang. also it is not about being gentle. lt is not proper to talk about being gentle in such a tense match.

I don't think he said "gomen", it sounded more like "おまえ or omae" which means "you" in Japanese. In this case, he's just telling her to get the shot...

to beat zheng siwei with his power and accuracy.. Need speed, solid defense and discipline... Japanese players have it all... In wd they have solid defense, in md they have speed, and they try to mix it in XD

tbh arisa have pretty weak defense, at least according to this final match. they won because in the second game yutanabe take more risk playing this placement shot trying to get the initiative rather than just playing it safe lifting and lifting again like the first game. yutanabe are so special though, incredible court awareness...similar to kevin.

I think yuta's racket skills, defense and smash are all world class. His cunning playstyle on top of all that separates him from others. Zheng si wei can smash well but it's not good enough to go past yuta's defense.

the japanese pair had a very effective strategic plan of tiring the chinese guy from the first set while not being so behind on points. very good indeed. the chinese guy never played the last 2 set like he did in the first. congrats japanese team.
