u do understand u have alot a ways do loose a gunfight with a sniper in this game other than the cringelords that hardscope only up close with the movement if u loose to a sniper thats on u for the most part
@@jacrispybbq I think this is a pretty hot take or valid take ENTIRELY dependent on your skill level as a player. People with good aim or good mechanics should virtually never lose with the sniper unless they need to reload. All it takes is decent positioning or good aim and you're fine. This can be seen in other games too like Overwatch, where a lot of top players can take widowmaker onto point and just flick well enough to make it work. So this is very much a yes and no answer
@@hyde5295The problem here is that, in this game specifically, you don’t need to have good mechanics. You basically one-shot to the torso, and this doesn’t take that much skill. In Overwatch, you can be a nightmare with Widow, but you need to hit the head, not the body. This is why no one complains.
Getting 1 shot constantly while playing the obj is annoying when I’m trying to lvl up m16 or lmg. So switching to the acr to poo on snipers brings me pleasure. 😂
Or Double Barrel with Ghillie, that's been my sniper countermeasure. Just tap them once then beeline towards spawn and wait until they get off the sniper to deal with it
Cool how you decide how people should play the game and what is fun or not. Good on you for giving credit to the footage you use, but really shitty to badmouth them for playing how they wish.
Going for snipers first thing was a good move, they are about to nerf those things in the incoming season. I'm personally going hard af on the secondaries, already finished the Magnum and D50. Keep up the grind!
If you snipe you understand how these try hard players using assault rifles and smgs always cry and cry and cry about snipers and how they always need to be nerfed but in reality playing against the movement techniques and abilities in this game takes a lot of skill and you can’t help but wonder how y’all don’t get bored of using automatic guns. Don’t get me wrong they are awesome and there’s no wrong way to play but it seems boring to someone who snipes to run around with an AR or SMG

got my snipers gold last week working on my marksman now took a break but you literally said my plan i wanted to do snipers marksman pistols and shotguns waiting on season 1 for the new sniper
Then just have a valid opinion that makes logical sense. A one shot sniper in a game with a slow ttk and bullet proof one way shields? That might be ok if this game was a team game but its a casual fps with no skill based matchmaking so this means sniper dominate every game without fail. Snipers complaining about the acr is a skill issue, yes the acr is the best ar but its an irrelevant argument when its up against a hit scan one shot.
@@Jtw-__-551the ttk is certainly slow lol, the least you can kill someone with an smg with no headshots is 6 bullets, factor in shit hit detection and then that really is slow.
The try hards on this game are nuts I felt all that I’m going tac 50 myself but they see the glint in the scope are just start bouncing around it’s so annoying can’t wait for the nerf. I like this game but sometimes it’s like yo chill out😂
I can tell you have only played snipers cuz you are extremely biased. As someone who has played every weapon in xdefiant, snipers are the EZ mode try hard weapon. there is 0 flinch on the snipers making it way too easy to outtrade anything other than shotguns. The time to kill + 0 flinch makes snipers the best weapon on paper with nothing even coming close.
You do know some people dont like snipers, right? Like they are like rushers or flankers and those who just flat out suck as sniping. I have played an escort game where both teams were mostly snipers,not a fun experince
I think what people misunderstand is that this isn’t cod, it’s an objective game. Certain guns should suit certain objective game modes, ie snipers on escort, smgs on dom/hotshot ars on control etc.
@@ell1cs the problem is COD and streaming has turned everybody k/d monsters. Nobody cares about the objective because playing for the objective may effect the k/d. And I wonder about the long term success of this game because of this.
@@kidrevos557 I think the community will shift away soon tbh since the game has nothing in common w cod besides being an arcade fps imo, movement gunplay don’t feel similar whatsoever. That being said you can play for kills it does help but people wanting it to be cod are completely missing the point, it’s more of a OW/Cod hybrid as opposed to pure cod so I don’t think it should be treated as cod.
@ell1cs I agree with everything u said except I think people wanted this to be COD+ so bad that so are frustrated there is no killstreaks etc . I suspect this game will get a hard drop in player count once BO6 drops
Complaining about tryhards is just strait bs. Do you expect people to not try and win and get better? People who complain about tryhards are just mad that other people are better than them. Also one intresting thing you mentioned was the ttk was "quicker than it should be" whats your basis on that?
I feel bad that you got trashed on as hard as you did for this video, but it's also a video that feels like borderline ragebait. Snipers have been the easiest and best weapon since launch, and it was so bad the devs made a statement summing up to "Give us some time we know we need to nerf them, its pretty bad." There are other weapons like the ACR and MP7 that need nerfs too but snipers in xDefiant right now are actual point and click adventure, there is no skill needed outside of knowing your crosshair off quickscoping which has been mastered after 2 decades of CoD. In all I respectfully disagree with this opinion, I think statistics can also factually prove this opinion wrong if we got the numbers from the game, and in all its probably a skill issue. ( Side note CANNOT WAIT for sniper nerfs, I'm so tired of playing against 4 snipers every match every time without fail, its the sweatiest BS I've ever seen in my life... )
